The Orchard in Basingstoke and Deane

We visited as our halfway stop in both directions between kent and Devon and what a cracking find it was! Set in beautiful park perfect for letting us and the dog stretch our legs before sitting down to enjoy some lovely lunch and hot drinks. The staff are absolutely lovely and remembered us from our first stop. Very dog friendly and brought our dog some water. Clearly a family run, communi5u spirited venture. Lovely seating outside perfect for a summers day. Highly recommend.

This cafe is the best by far in Basingstoke, the staff were lovely and catered incredibly to my family’s needs. The manager Hannah provided toys and activities to my children to occupy while I was served a delicious tuna and sweetcorn panini. I will 100% be coming back and would recommend to anyone. Such a lovely community, I’m happy that such a welcoming place can offer wonderful support to young people :)

Staff are always very friendly & welcoming. Food & drink is excellent. Lovely place to sit & relax. Good place to meet new people. They also do so much for youth support. We go there a lot & love it. Thank you to all the staff.

What can I say about the cafe. It’s brilliant staff that work there Hannah holly Ed Lauren Libby and the great food and drink in there especially the panini and milkshake. It’s in a nice venue setting. I enjoy going there on Thursday and Friday.

Best cafe in Basingstoke, in a friendly atmosphere and staff who run it are friendly and the prices are reasonable and well run business.

So lovely to have a café in War Memorial Park. Check the opening hours so you're not disappointed. Very friendly staff, vegan milk alternatives and delicious vegan cake auvailable. Nice views of the park, and lovely comfortable outdoor seating. Dog friendly.

Found this by accident today lovely little cafe decent coffee which is locally sorced! Very pet friendly with treats and water and kids play things would definitely recommend really reasonable price well worth it and the owner was lovely x

Only been open for six months so relatively new and less well known. Situated in the Orchard office building on the edge of the War Memorial Park, serving teas, coffees, sandwiches and snacks on weekdays. There is a small sit in area with outdoor seating when the weather permits. They serve fresh coffee to the standard of the high street chains with a slightly lower price tag which you can sit in with or take out and continue your wandering in the park. Cold drinks, sandwiches (generously filled) and cake available as well. Loyalty card scheme for hot drinks. Good service.
