Lovely little gem hidden away amongst bigger louder cafes .
Blink and you could miss it but inside there so much room and seating once you get past the Door .
I came in on my own and was made so welcome .
The Staff were attentive and knowledgeable and made a huge fuss of my dog , giving her a “Pupachino “ which she demolished in seconds.
The food here is exceptional, all locally Sourced produce and nicely presented.
The owner takes huge pride in keeping this little Cafe up to date , Inside the decoration is Beautifully done and you can see this is more than “ Just a Business “ It’s a passion and you can tell that every member of staff is passionate about making your experience at Cafe No.35 the Best possible .
The Specials are changed Every 2 weeks .
It’s worth a trip because the Hand Made Hash Browns are Mind blowing!!!
Dog Friendly, cake s to die for and an extensive menu that caters for vegan , vegetarian and Gluten free .
Definitely worth a look 👀.
Kaz, if you're reading this, what follows is more to do with how incompetent the Deliveroo platform is rather than how I feel about Frankies (which has always been top drawer). So here goes... Massively late, cold and then some crap about a code. After debating that with the delivery bloke I finally got to sit down and eat my tepid food. Two bites in (keep in mind I need to get a move on before any remaining warmth has left the building) someone at Deliveroo calls because they want to tell me how important the observance of the code system is. All for the bargain price of fifteen quid.

We took visiting friends for lunch today. The food was excellent, the service superb and lovely setting. We highly recommend the Barley Mow and will definitely be back again soon!
First class country pub, welcoming staff and lovely atmosphere. Excellent food - burger in particular was superbly flavoursome. Good value too. Would recommend.

Recently refurbed for a more contemporary feel but retains a good atmosphere. Always a good selection of beers including cask. Room at the back with a screen for sporting events
Heard good things from get go. Arrived at 7:30pm. Quick service initially getting drinks and starters within 15 minutes. Starters great when they came. HOWEVER… 90 minutes later no sign of main meal. To top it off, nobody out of 3 members of staff working on half empty restaurant came to ask if we had had our main meals yet or even made eye contact for that matter. Extremely poor customer service on that front unfortunately. Hate to give a review like this but when going to a restaurant, the minimum you’d want to receive is the food you order or ATLEAST a reason as to why it is delayed by more than an hour. Reason given 1.5 hours later was that our order had been crossed off from the ordering list.
Seem like very nice people however please interact with your customers more throughout a dining experience.

A cut above the usual, beautifully cooked and presented dishes with emphasis on aromatic rather than simply ‘hot’. Menu, service and atmosphere very good - a nice venue to take visitors for a special occasion. An asset for Haslemere!
Booked a table for 8pm, we were seated at 8.10pm to a freshly cleaned table. That's the only good thing I can say about the experience.
I must admit I was expecting Nepalese dishes, everything on the menu can be found at your local Indian restaurant. One dish, the Chicken Chilli and I quote from the menu, a touch of ketchup in gravy or dry.
We had to ask for the menus, then we had to ask for our order to be taken. I then had to ask at 9.20pm,(an hour and twenty minutes after entering) if we were in fact going to be severed, 10minutes later our food arrived. During this time my friend had finished his drink, at no point did the waiter ask if he would like another one. The plates were cold, the food was so salty it was inedible, there was no spice to either curry and the naans were bland.
The restaurant did not have any heating, when it was -2 degrees outside, guests were sat in coats or scarfs and hats. Back to the freshly cleaned table, due to the cold temperature it remained wet for twenty minutes. We were later informed the landlord was refurbishing the heating system that's why it was cold in the restaurant.
I would never recommend this establishment to anyone.
Busy lunchtime due to reasonable weather and we popped in for drinks and a cake each.
I had the pistachio and orange cake, it was sadly quite dry and not well flavoured. My wife had Coffee and Almond cake and she thought it was not as good as our many previous visits.
Tea for the good lady and I tried a Pink Lemonade which at £2.50 for a small glass of lemonade with a drop of cordial was not a great result.
Nice stop over in the motorhome. Landlord and lady and staff very accommodating, top quality beers. Allowed us to have a takeaway in the pub as the restaurant is temporarily closed. Very enjoyable night!
We are totally spoilt having this pub as our local. We visit at least once a week for either a superb Sunday lunch or a delicious pizza early evening. They have just changed the wine list and I can highly recommend the Provence rose. If you are a vegetarian the hispi cabbage is to die for. Lovely staff can't recommend enough...
