The best restaurants in South East

I order from Starbucks daily, from the two Southampton branches and the totton one occasionally. Always find the totton store don’t check to see when online app orders come through. Every time we arrive to collect it’s never ready and they walk over to the machine to double check we’ve ordered. Then it’s rushed and have had the syrup missed out a couple of times now. Maybe some more attention needs to be paid just in this area as in store orders placed are good.

Trendy cafe with covered outdoor eating and inside too. Excellent quality food chips are lovely ham nice and thick golden eggs and superb chunky sausage rolls. Lots of parking all round good meal out but you will be paying for it!

Trevor and the team provided an amazing experience for a family wake. Excellent support in planning and outstanding delivery during the event.

We have used this cafe on a few occasions and have always found staff friendly and coffee great what more can I 🕵 They also have a doggy menu.

Nice full English set back from the street, busy but not rammed, definitely worth a visit if your looking for brunch

Had afternoon tea. Location and food excellent. Service left a bit to be desired. Was not busy but left waiting a lot.

Our room was comfortable, clean and well stocked with bottled water, tea, coffee etc. The outside seating area overlooked a sea inlet and was very peaceful. There is also an outside snug room with sofas, blankets, and tv. Unfortunately, it smelt of cigarette smoke most of the time. Varied choice for breakfast but more serving staff needed as poor waitress was run off her feet taking orders, serving food, restocking buffet etc The evening menu had a lot of options and was reasonably priced, too. All staff were very friendly and helpful.

Fantastic place. Lovely room. Smart luxury decor. Loved the choice of tea and coffee with a nice addition of macaroons. Would stay here again attentive staff. Lovely food, plenty of choice off the breakfast menu.

Tasty food, great value and friendly staff. We visited on a Thursday lunchtime and all three generations of our family group really enjoyed the food.

Food usually brilliant. Not so on this occasion, very ordinary and bland!

Had dinner here on a Monday. Food was adequate - burger was good but the onion rings tasted awful and we left them. Kids meal sausages were burnt. Very little Burrata in the tomato and Burrata salad. The worst thing was the atmosphere- can only describe it as cold and frosty. The lady serving our table was efficient but brusque and didn’t crack a smile once. It didn’t have a warm and welcoming atmosphere and we absolutely won’t return despite living close by.

Amazing value. Delicious and so reasonably priced. Friendly staff and fast service. We love the chicken balls, always taste so fresh with tender chicken
