After huge disappointment with level of service in my hotel around the corner we found this hidden gem. Food was excellent big portion and man cooking very friendly.

I had a fantastic pizza, the staff are always really nice and it's just down the road at McCarthy's. Thanks. Also, just found out that they do awesome milkshakes.

Best chicken kebab I've ever had. So tasty andit was a very generous portion of chicken plus lovely fresh salad. My son had a pizza and that was yummy too. Great value for money and delicious food. Service was friendly and delivery was quick. What more could you ask!!

After a tragic night at the hunters (don't go there) boss kebab came through for a birthday meal ready in 15 mins for 8. Excellent food brilliant service shame other places in the area can't take a leaf out the kebab van book.

Oh, I really hate to say this because I used to absolutely adore this Kebab van! But lately, there have been a few hiccups with my orders. And it's not just a one-time thing; it's happened consistently over the last three times I've ordered. I even called to let them know about the mix-up last time, but unfortunately, I got hung up on twice. Now, let me be clear: the owner of the van is an absolute gem. He goes out of his way to make customers feel welcome and ensures the food is always top-notch. But, I've noticed a bit of a drop in quality when he's not around. When he's there, hands down, it's the best kebab van you'll find anywhere in the country. But when he takes a well-deserved break, things seem to get a bit chaotic, with orders mixed up and everything feeling rushed. I really hope this review can be constructive. I still want to support them, so I'll start picking up my orders from now on and maybe double-check to see if the owner is working before I order. Here's to hoping things get back on track soon!

Went to grab a burger and both staff smoking next to van then the one who was making food went back in van and started cooking !! Not once did he wash hands! Would bever buy from him.

Delicious food and very friendly staff

First time order - made order online, reasonable delivery charge and website easy to navigate. We had chicken strips, onion rings and 2 large doner. The doner were huge and not even my son could eat all of his and he has a much bigger appetite than me! Tasted amazing and the variety of salad was good as was the sauce, Arrived early and to the right address which is a massive bonus compared to the other well-known food delivery companies. Will order again 5*

Great Kebab best I have had in a long time.

I use this place alot. So I'll give my honest feedback. I had a calzone the other night. Really wanted to give top marks! But! Unfortunately not alot of topping inside. I've had calzones before from other places which where filled totally and tasty. Very disappointed. Please take this review not as moan. Just more filling. Maybe a seasoned butter to place on top to flavour also.

Breakfast van in the morning, pizza and kebab vans in the evening, Amazing food! Fresh and big portion sizes, good service with even tastier food! Recommended to all.

Lovely kebabs, especially the salad BUT why is there a £1 surcharge added to online collection orders?? I prefer not to have my kebab totally smothered in mayo but there is no option to order without sauce. Maybe you could offer a pot of sauce as an alternative.

What can I say this place is the finest quality of kebabs and chips and there soft cheese bites absolutely 💯 be using this place again and not only is the food top quality so are the people who run this and I'm now going to have to try there breakfast 😋. I Highly recommend..

We love the food here. A special treat around once a month for our family. Great kids menu. I love the pitta breads are kept separate to the kebab items until you get them home. No soggy bread 😁 Delicious food. Great team. Priced well for collection.

Stumbled upon this kebab van whilst taking a diversion back from the beach, food was excellent, staff very polite and also not too expensive, plenty of space to park if you just want to sit and eat straight away

The staff are so friendly, they couldn't do more to help, and if you say "Lots of mayo" they HEAR YOU. Food was lovely, great kebabs, the meat was lovely, and our containers were absolutely jam packed! Would highly recommend if you like friendly faces, a warm greeting and great food 😁

I ordered a kebab and chips from here using the website and its very handy being able to pay by card, website very easy to use, very fast home delivery service and the food was lovely and hot, lots of choice, i shall definitely order from here again, food was delicious :))

Really nice portion sizes. Had a small kebab, which had a nice mixture of proper salad, not just lettuce. Very adequate portion for 1. Very hot and quick food. Friendly staff, would use again if in the area. They are open every day but Monday from 4 pm till 11 pm. Many different food options are available.

We stopped here on a Sunday evening on the way home from seeing the Christmas lights at Marwell and we were all hungry for something quick. The service is friendly and they take care to cater for your personal order preferences. I had the lamb shish kebab with salad & pita and it was delicious. Others had chicken or doner kebabs with chips and everyone was quiet as we all tucked in. We will definitely be back!

Great portion sizes. Very expensive for a kebab van. Nice and clean and really tasty. Friendly staff and always busy so you know your getting a good kebab.

This is truly one of the BEST roadside food beverages I have visited I asked for a extra large kebab thinking it would be enough for two but quite easily could have fed four people, the kebab was good quality meat and not just fat the chips were banging crispy definitely worth a visit and highly recommended

Our favourite takeaway place in the local area. The owner is super friendly and welcoming. The kitchen area is clean and hygienic and the food is awesome.

The best thing about staying at Meon so far - somewhere just down the road to get some cracking food. A cheaper option than what they have on the menu for certain! Recommended by miles over the restaurant in the hotel. Staff here are much friendlier too!

Ridden past here plenty of times but this time we planned to stop here, we had just been caught in a cloud burst and were soaked to the skin. Some hot tasty food was just what we needed. We were the only people in there when we pulled in but had to wait nearly thirty minutes in the pouring rain while they dealt with what I can only assume were telephone orders. The food smelt delicious as we stood there patiently shivering ourselves warm while we waited, eventually we shuffled off to stand under the garden centre awning with our polystyrene containers full of what turned out to be lukewarm food. I have eaten many kebabs and I honestly have never ever eaten one like this, both the meat and the chips had a very strange gritty texture to them, what it was I can not say. I am also at a loss to describe the garlic sauce it came with, while it may well have had garlic in it, it was by far not the dominant taste, it had an overwhelming taste of stale blue cheese, most unusual and definitely not complimentary to the meal. In the end I had to call it a draw, they can't cook it and I couldn't eat it. Luckily the Marmaris kebab van is only a U turn and short drive away... The edit below is in response to the owners comments. Firstly, I made no mention of the salad, in the photo you can see there is no salad as I did not have any with my meal and therefore made no comment on it. I also did not mention waiting times at the Marmaris so maybe in future you should not put words into others mouths! Secondly, kebab meat is a processed food and by its very nature cannot be classed as fresh, I at no time implied that it was not home processed. Thirdly, to claim that something made from prepackaged sauces and dried herbs is homemade and fresh is a falsehood. If I was to mix Heinze ketchup with Daddies brown sauce and throw in a pinch of dried pepper I could not claim it as a fresh homemade sauce, at best it is a blend of processed food. However given that you are using dried herbs it may go some way to explaining the gritty texture to your food. You also mentioned that other kebab vans precook there meat, I saw no difference to the way you sliced your meat off the main body of kebab and finished its cooking on the hot plate than I have seen at any other kebab van. Finally I would like to address the 30 minute wait, I did mention in my review that it was probably due to phone orders and obviously I was correct. Given that the weather was so bad and you knew you had many orders to fill before ours you could have informed us that there would be a long wait for the food and allowed us to make a choice of waiting in the rain or going elsewhere. This does not explain though why our food was only warm and not hot considering your claim that the food is always "freshly" cooked! You are however 100% correct that it is our choice to where we eat. You had an opportunity to make amends in your comment but chose instead to slate your competitors and that is not a good look. Second update/edit I was informed by a friend that the owner had removed his response, I can only presume that this is due to him having had some time to dwell on our visit that evening and he is not only embarrassed by the food he served, he is also embarrassed by the insulting manner in which he approaches customer services...

Really disappointing experience. Been a few times and previously a filling, relatively tasty experience (if a bit pricy, not surprising given area and lack of alternatives). Tonight, the order was handed out wrong - corrected twice - third time opening at home being told we now had the right bits... still wrong. Tasteless, bland doner meat. Salad that was pushing the boundaries of "ripe". Burger that was overcooked, dry meat yet fall-apart soggy bun, despite opening within a few minutes of being served. Won't be returning, will keep going to Mick's. Half the price and far better quality / experience.

Really pleased to find The Boss Kebab just before it closed having not seen any food options open on the way in from Southampton. Really friendly service. I wanted to order coffee but as they don't sell hot drinks, I was kindly offered a coffee whilst I waited for my order. The food was very tasty, a huge portion for small size I ordered, with very generous amount of meat and fresh salad. Thank you! Highly recommend.

I used this van for the first time a few days ago. I went for the large donner kebab, and it was huge and it was enough for two meals. The donner meat itself was probably the nicest I have ever had. I will definitely use again.

Best kebab van in the area, we had chips, jalapeno bites and a mixed grill kebab. It was all great.

Dreadful experience. Badly overcooked, unbelievably slow service and expensive, Lamb like leather, massively disappointing, Also very greasy. Don't bother - go to Marmaris.

Second time I have used the van for a takeaway the first time the meat was cut so thin that it was horrible but my girlfriend really enjoyed her burger so I thought I would gove them a second chance. This time they tryed to over charge me and then I had asked for a small chicken kebab and chips with 4 salads I got chicken on top of chips no pitta bread and just lettice I've run a food van myself so I know it's not easy to always get it right but it wasn't even busy and one on the guy's was mostly just sanding there. The sad think is the chicken was cooked really well but I don't go back to places that try and over charge me and give me half the food I ordered.
