So disappointed with the roast today. At £22 for roast beef, it came with one roast carrot, two very uncooked roast potatoes, a tiny portion of cabbage, one frozen Yorkshire and two pretty sad looking slices of beef. Admittedly setting is glorious. But for the price for a large party it should and could have been better.

Lovely location and good selection of food. Service was excellent until we came to pay. We were charged for another table at £50 more than our bill. It was a genuine mistake by the waitress but when I tired to sort it out the manager was rude and did not apologise once for the time it took to sort or the mistake. Such a shame as his attitude ruined my experience

Fantastic location, good service, and delicious food. What a lovely location for an early dinner. Outdoor seating is perfect in the summer months and recommend a spritz or two!

Staying in Ovington for a week we called in for a quick drink and see what the pub was like before booking a table. I can honestly say we ha such a warm welcome from Dave and the regulars too. Two decent cask ales brewed not far away. The place itself it small but cosy and clean. We had a meal a few nights later and thoroughly enjoyed it. The menu was small but still hard to choose as we liked everything on it. The service was efficient and we were checked on that the food was alright. It is a small establishment so booking is advisable. We prefer not to dine with dogs around us and Dave explained he does try to keep the dog diners separate which he did the evening we were there. Not everyone likes dogs in restaurants and pubs. We had a lovely holiday in the area so fully intend to return and will be calling at The Four Alls again.

We hired the private function room for my daughter's 40th birthday and it was perfect. They delivered on all of their promises apart from the weather but that didn't dampen our event. It was everything I wanted and more. The venue, location, staff and food were all excellent. Wonderful! I had liased with Josh and Amber at the venue and Rory in HO and they all did a great job. Well done.

Birthday meal for 2 , really excellent food ,Pasta and burger, excellent service , we sat outside and there were just some signs of wear and tear that meant had to give 4 stars rather than 5 . we had not informed them was a birthday but the waitress overheard my grandson calling to wish me happy birthday while we were there. The manager came out to say happy birthday and gave me my dessert for free, what a thoughtful gesture and we will visit again soon as the food was so good !

The staff are friendly. We waited over an hour for our food which is unusual for here. I hate to say it wasn't great when it eventually came. It's a lovely setting but the loos were a mess. It was delt with really fairly our mains were taken off the bill.

AVOID! Avoid as a customer and avoid if you're looking for a job, service is awful. Staff are a really poor representation to the owners. Shockingly one of the staff decided to tell us that he's "been trying to get sacked, but they won't sack me" It's a shame because I would have recommended the four alls but I won't now. The menu sounds up to date and appetising but executed badly

Service was poor waited hour and a half for our meals and had to keep getting our drinks from the bar as no one came to the table Food over priced £13.50 for a glass of wine is ridiculous £13.50 for a starter which was about 6 prawns in a dish Hand full of chips with the main meal Very disappointed Nice location but won’t be returning

We visited here for a family dinner during a short holiday. Picturesque views of the river, there is seating outside and inside. The Service was good, friendly and welcoming. We enjoyed many dishes with a Mediterranean style. I ordered the King prawns for starters and Sea Bass for main, seasoned well and cooked perfectly. Worth the visit.

Love this pub by the river. Have been using it for 47 tears and seen many changes, not all good but it is a lovely place to eat, drink and socialise now. With excellent staff.

Called and spoke to a lad names James at around 8:25 on my way home from Stratford to order a take away pizza, I was told they stopped at 8:30 so instead of telling me no sorry it's too late, he said he would have a word with the chef and ring it through to get the order in for me before they stopped serving food, he took my order and about 10 minutes later I arrived, had a drink whilst waiting and chatted to him, lovely guy really polite and friendly, the pizza was absolutely bang on the Money, such a friendly atmosphere and extremely welcoming staff, honestly I couldn't of asked for more, i can't recommend this place enough!! Thank you to the everyone there!

We popped in for a drink on a hot Saturday afternoon whilst on a hike. The staff were really friendly and made getting a drink quick and easy.

Lovely food in a beautiful setting. The staff were excellent both at the bar and in the restaurant. We stayed longer than planned and sat outside for another drink.

We drove over half an hour for some dinner and called the restaurant three times without getting an answer so pre booked using their online booking system, just to be told the kitchen closes early on Sunday and the head chef had gone home so was forced to go somewhere else, despite having a table reserved and the website saying they were open. Absolutely disgraceful, I unfortunately will not be returning and recommend others don’t either.

This little pub in Covinton was a little gem Dave is an amazing host and the food we had there twice was fabulous. Recommend it If you stay in Hall cottages

We always have a great time here. They get quite busy, and a couple of times there have been minor issues, but the staff are lovely, friendly, and put everything right, giving us a great experience. Wonderful food and views outside, highly recommend.

Beautiful setting for a drink and food by the river. Unfortunately, it was marred by a few issues. Firstly, the inadequate handicapped parking spaces, which were no wider than a standard space. This presents issues for people with mobility issues. Secondly, despite the relatively extensive menu, I was told that I could only eat certain items outside. Bizarre, I know. Shame, as we were a large party, willing to spend. Doubtful I will return.

We booked in here one Saturday night and were not disappointed , food outstanding and customer service 10/10. Highly recommend. Dogs also welcome which was a bonus as i don’t like to go anywhere without him.

The loveliest evening at The Four Alls. Food was delicious and James and the team made us feel so welcome on the first night of our honeymoon, and went above and beyond. The team gave us great recommendations for the local area whilst we’re staying here too! Would recommend.

A beautiful place right next to the river, we can't wait to come back in the summer. Even though it was so busy, it really didn't feel like the. The staff were fantastic and attentive without being in your face and the food was amazing, even catering for my just peas with my roast without hesitation. Huge portions, that was the biggest half a chicken I've seen in a long time, definitely no room for desserts. It was clean, tidy and well presented, the mothers day card on the table and a free mimosa a nice touch

We enjoyed lunch at The Four Alls today and despite being really busy the service was brilliant and very speedy. The staff were all amazing, so attentive and friendly. We enjoyed a fabulous view over the river and had lots of space between the tables. Would definitely come back again.

Visited today for my partner's birthday. We started with halloumi chips as a sharer and they were very nice. I opted for the fish and chips and had absolutely no regrets! It was fantastic! My partner had the cheese/bacon burger and loved that. My daughter had the spaghetti bolognese and ditto! The staff are very friendly. Will gladly be back in the future! Oh, and it's also dog-friendly!

We were visiting the lovely village of Ovington for a week, and visited our new "local" for dinner. We had a brilliant welcome from a fab barman (Dave).. Dinner was cooked by the leading lady, and what a dinner.. Not only brilliant and great portions, but at an excellent price. Dave even made Irish coffee's to finish the meal... It was so good we had to visit again for a final drink before we head home.

Superb ,slightly out of way pub/restaurant. Food and drink is top quality and different from the run of the mill pub grub. Staff are very helpful and friendly

We were taken there as a treat on 13 Jan.....it was a great venue for lunch but not very atmospheric. However, the pork belly was first class as was the service. The bridge next door was closed for refurbishment, so if you go there soon, bear it in mind.

We had a fantastic experience at this gem of a restaurant. The food is excellent - really high quality, delicious Italian pasta, pizza and wine. All the staff were chatty, welcoming and friendly and we had such a lovely time. The restaurant is absolutely beautiful too, really nice decor and atmosphere. It was busy even on a Wednesday in January, so do book a table. Highly recommend a visit.

Very nice restaurant. Food was nice although the staff were struggling. They were short staffed, a lack of chefs and waiting staff which lead to a lengthy wait.

It pains me to leave a negative review of the Four Alls as my family and I have been going for years and always used to love it. The staff are very friendly and accommodating but unfortunately that is no longer enough to keep us coming back. During our past several visits, the service has been particularly slow, leaving us feeling forgotten about. We've always given the benefit of the doubt and hoped the next visit would be better. Our previous visit was the final straw and I will not be visiting again. During our last visit, despite the restaurant being relatively empty, we had to wait roughly 15 minutes for our drinks and an hour for our mains. When our mains arrived, our waiter realised he had not put through half of the food so half of us ate whilst the kitchen had to whip up what was missing. Any of the same food items we had ordered had not been prepared the same and were not up to their usual standard. Right at the end we had been charged for food we had not ordered. We were left feeling disappointed. The staff were very apologetic and took money off the bill but I will be going to more reliable restaurants in future.

Strange score i know. Food was good, but expensive, in my opinion. £8 for a pudding that was just ok and smaller than expected. Service was excellent and worth a tip. However, we were offered a ' free ' bottle of prosecco to celebrate a birthday. When the bill came, a 13% service charge, included a service charge on the free bottle of prosecco. Not sure i agree, with that. We would have given a similar tip, but that might be something you think about when going. To finish on a positive, my grandchildren had colouring activity and special Rabbit 🐰 shaped pizza 🍕, which was a hit

This pub is just so lovely! I can’t rate it highly enough. The booking system was easy and efficient. Everyone in our party was able to choose their food separately in advance, online. The staff were not only friendly and welcoming but efficient and helpful. No one tried to rush us but kept popping in to see if we needed anything. The private room was beautiful and decorated so tastefully. Usually booking for 22, you accept that the food may not be awesome, may not arrive altogether, might be a bit cold. NOT HERE. The food was absolutely delicious, arrived together and was hot. We all had different dishes and everyone loved every dish. That is amazing for 22 people to like all 3 courses. I have only ever been to one other restaurant where the service and attention was this good; The Fat Duck. Congratulations on running an awesome pub and our whole family wish you every success - you deserve it! We’ve already booked for next year 🎄

We had our Christmas party here and the staff were really lovely. Josh reserved the side room which worked well and we didn't feel hurried, so we had time to enjoy ourselves. Thanks to all the staff.

Came for food and drinks, had a pint of Guinness and the Leb Fries, food was exceptional and the service was great! They even had an open fire place in the bar! Will definitely be visiting again!

Lovely venue, clearly spent a lot of money on it. We went for breakfast on a Sunday morning. Unfortunately we were only customers there and took nearly half an hour for our food to come. The chef was constantly on his phone, watching videos loudly, talking on loudspeaker, his phone ringing etc etc (was an open kitchen and our table was 10ft from it). This completely ruined what was supposed to be a relaxing Sunday morning breakfast! Shame as food was good and place itself really nice.

Great food (amazing vegan pie and beef Sunday roast), the service was friendly and attentive without being pushy and the pub/restaurant has a warm, buzzy atmosphere.

Shame that there was not any other diners but realise this was because of bridge repairs.

Went yesterday the staff are lovely and service is fast food is very good and chef's are very happy in there work as you can see them actually cooking your food and they were singing away which made a great atmosphere. I've been here before but not for a long time and the inside is so different to what it was didn't recognise it. Well done to all staff I will definitely be going again could not recommend more highly. Shame the road bridge is closed at moment they must be missing some trade although it was very busy .

Sunday 12th Nov '23 @1215. Family birthday meal. What a great, friendly, helpful, professional waiter we had. Nothing was too much trouble and was always polite. He was on the go all the time managing. Serving lots of tables in one go. what a star he was. Food was very good, the restaurant was very clean. Highly recommend a visit

Lovely food, friendly staff and very accommodating of our large group, including 9 babies! 😅. They also had great vegan options and were very easy to communicate with for booking such a large meet-up. We will definitely be returning! ☺️

Went to the four alls tonight and can honestly say it was superb! I had steak and ale pie which was huge! So tasty with an amazing gravy! Asked for another jug which was no problem whatsoever. My mam had the chicken wrapped in Parma ham which she said was delicious. Dad had gammon which again he said was fantastic. Dad also got his French mustard which he can’t find anywhere. Would highly recommend this lovely pub. Best to book I think.

As usual Dave and his small band of helpers made the visit as hospitable as usual , the food was excellent and plentiful and would recommend it too anyone passing The pub is small and it is like drinking in someone's front room and the locals were very charming to visitors overall a excellent hostelry

OUCH Called in for a quick drink as we were passing. A pint of Peroni and a medium Pino. £19.50 !!! Above London prices and nothing other than profiteering. We won't be returning.

Beautiful restaurant right next to the river with lots of outdoor and indoor seats. Definitely to sit outside when the weather is nice. I came for the Sunday Roast and chose beef. The portion was massive and the beef was proper thick cut. It's very delicious. They have a massive menu for both food and drink so will definitely come back to try out more!

Finally visited my new local pub What a beautiful decor and atmosphere Friendly staff especially Annabelle who helped with a great selection of wines to choose from.

I keep coming back here. Decent food if a bit heavy on the mashed potatoes and pleasant lication by the river. Not cheap for what is served but good local ingredients so worth the price.

Made a birthday booking and took cake.stipulated birthday booking on booking. Food great (bar cold chips) . Experience the other day re : service was poor. Waited too long for drinks and food. Service has always been excellent on multiple previous occasions. Took birthday cake which had to make repeated requests for . Made sure I was as accommodating as possible and merely asked to be brought out to table. Staff weren’t expected to do anything more . Didn’t want any particular fuss or assistance. Gave up and politely asked for it back to take home. Birthdays are celebratory. What a shame. Not sure whether short staffed or bar area was getting a bit forgotten? Need to see an improvement in service for further visits as this is just as important as food quality. Can’t fault one member of staff (gentleman who is always polite and I think he was trying his best).

Food was absolutely lovely and the chefs and bar staff were super friendly! Had a little catch up with friends, great atmosphere in there even for a Monday evening. Our waiter Reece gave us the best service I’ve ever had - he was very funny, attentive and overall super lovely & a deep down nice person. Definitely will be back soon!
