A nice alternative pub. Welcoming and inclusive. Food was good (plenty of vegan options) and drinks were reasonably priced. Really friendly staff. Next time we're in town we'll be back. Cheers!
Unusual little venue, with small but creative menu. Good vegetarian and vegan options (in fact about half the menu choices are vegetarian or vegan). For lunch, we started with some garlic bread and cheesy garlic bread which was a very generous portion, and in hindsight we didn't need it! My partner had the Vegan Chili Pot, which was impressive and tasty (not massively spicy, tasty). My daughter had the mushroom risotto which was divine! Our little one chose off the children's menu and had a hot dog and chips! My seafood chowder was also very tasty. The food was creatively presented! Nice coffee also. It's a really nice atmosphere sitting in an ex-bandstand building, great views up and down the sea front.
Once again a Brilliant meal at a Favourite restaurant in Town a 3 course meal for under £30 Mussels for our starters followed by a fantastic Fish Pie & Vegetables puddings Chocolate Torte Cheese Board never fails to please 😁

Just received my order via Deliveroo ... I can honestly say I have never been more disappointed with a food order!
I ordered a total of 4 tacos, each one barely had any of the meat component and very lack lustre accompaniments, please see the attached pictures. The best bit about the delivery was the chilli cheese bites side and they are clearly brought in.
Unfortunately, this is the first and last order I will be making. It was not worth the price paid.
I came here a few years ago when I first moved to Southsea and it was probably the best tapas place I had been to. However, my visit on the 7 March, the place is not what it used to be. The calamari, a staple in tapas, it was cold and anaemic. The albondigas, incredibly fatty and tasted of nothing. The halloumi, burnt. The service was amazing and I enjoyed the wine. However, I'm disappointed in how they've let themselves go. I doubt I'd visit again. Not worth the £52 I paid.
A very cozy and atmospheric place. The fish pie was delicious, the scampi were good, and the side dishes were decent. The local beer recommended by the waiter was excellent. I can definitely recommend this place
