Great place, food and service five star. Always busy, worth a visit

Food still nice, but pre ordered food to avoid que, charged 50p for that but still had to wait. Very disappointing 😞

I left a message in the box that says to do so notifying the restaurant about aspects of said order, in this case a breakfast. Everything was ignored and I ended up with £16 worth of inedible slop

Had the rib eye steak which was perfectly cooked and delicious. Very generous portion sizes. Staff are all cheerful and helpful.

Lovely food good quality and lots of it. Everyone enjoyed even the first eaters . Even gave the little one a bag of sweets as we left .

The breakfast was tasty however what I didn’t enjoy was the stuffiness inside There wasn’t any windows open, you could see the smoke in the room it was thick we came out smelling like we’d been cooking

Food was alright but delivery driver was too lazy to get out of his car, so had to leave my flat and pick it up. What a joke, won’t be coming back here I’m afraid.

More then happy with my order it was lovely and HOT . Took 15mins from when I placed the order just what I needed after a 12hr flight I had the beef madras curry half n half the meat was falling apart .I will definitely be ordering from here again for sure

Options are either sandwich or baguette. A baguette being (please see definition) a crusty elongated bread. We were sent soft rolls instead of a baguette that were on the stale side and margarine was used - not sure why in this day and age margarine is used. If butter costs too much, just increase the price. Margarine is awful.

ordered at 8.24 but they didn't deliver until 9.50am

Food was cold and missing the cheese on the one jacket potato. 3rd time now I've had an issue. Definatley won't be returning.

First time going. Bacon was over cooked black. Dippy eggs weren't dippy they were hard. Had a hair on the plate. Tomatoes cold. Black pudding yuk all that was cooked was the outside of it. I will stick with the fountain. Became quite busy

Ordered a omlette salad and chips took 30mins to b given to me because they were more interested in the uber deliveries and it was revolting!! the chips were soggy and undercooked, the omlette just come in a massive ball burnt on the outside and sloshy in the middle and had no salad will never go there again was shocking!!

Food was absolutely lovely, the only problem was that it took over an hour to get here but that was not the fault of Atlantic Cafe.

The sausage and bacon baguette came in a roll rather than a baguette with brown sauce which wasn't requested. Brown sauce was only requested on the sausage, egg and bacon sandwich and the breakfast baguette.

Half my order was missing and I couldn't even ring the cafe as number out of order

Amazing fast delivery and food was spot on!

My delivery was out in the car for 25 minutes which in turn made my food cold. Plus i didnt get my complete order. I was missing my drink

Terrible service. Ordered three meals and two drinks. Drinks were missing. Fried bread was missing. All three meals had items missing and incorrect items. Tried to get hold of cafe but landline was no longer working and mobile number was going to answerphone. Left a message but no response. They even had cheek to congratulate themselves as the order arrived early! I would have preferred the order to be correct and on time!!!

Good value breakfast, friendly staff. Everything was boiling hot including the large mug of tea. Sausages used were cheap but then at £7.45 for a medium breakfast including tea very good value. Will have to try lunch one day.

Food is great, staff are polite as ever and helpful, wait times are very fair, prices are very good considering the inflation, and the atmosphere is great and set to the style of a 50s diner. Honestly can't recommend this place enough. I've had the large breakfast over 30 times and each time it has been great. Also a nice touch is that they will swap out any item you don't like.

Lovely, good value breakfast. Can be noisy with all the workers but still a nice atmosphere.

Fish, chips, mushy peas, tea bread and butter cooked to order, delivered freshly cooked and hot to the table and a wide range of condiments made available. Staff friendly and helpful, even though place was busy, all round excellent value for money.

Absolutely awful food was cold what a waste of money gone right down hill, didn’t read notes when it’s there in capital letters on the receipt really disappointing

A great cafe especially for breakfast👍 friendly staff,plenty of seating,toilets and there's even a park out front to keep the kids amused and happy. Highly recommended.

Forgot 2 cans of coke and charged me

Clearly didn't read the note I'd left. Food came with stuff that I clearly stated I didn't want. Why have a note section if you don't read it!!

Left a note for the restaurant which they didn't take notice of. Food came with stuff I asked to be taken off and replaced with something else. I can't eat my food as I can taste the mushrooms on it!

So my order was confirmed at 9.13am this morning. The ode was confirmed and we were waiting for a driver to be assigned. After waiting over an hour we tried to contact the restaurant but it was just eat with no help for customers. I couldn't cancel my order it was just saying please be patient. By 12pm when they said it was delivered and it wasn't I was furious I had to drive to the restaurant explain thee situation and they cooked me fresh food and explained that you had not assigned a driver. If I didn't collect it I wouldn't of got my money back or ha any food........ couldn't believe just eat run so poorly

I was only passing though Barry after going to the council recycling centre has 2 baguettes bacon sausage and egg the both were slot on with soft eggs. Staff member who served me was polite and helpful. My food was cooked fresh nice to see abd tasted lovely will pop back again if I am ever passing

Travelled down from Oxford to South Wales yesterday for a guided fishing session with the legendary Gareth Griffiths of GG Guiding. Had breakfast at Cafe Atlantic and all i can say absolutely awesome. Freshly cooked and the staff are a credit to their profession. Very highly recommended and im sure that it won't be the last time I have such a banging breakfast at this amazing cafe. Cheers everyone. Regards Paul

We all ordered chilli, all we had was beef mince on a plate, no sauce with it. Staff wasn't that bothered either

Friendly fast service and a good proper fry up!

Driver called and had no idea where he was going and spoke very poor English, making it quite stressful for me - disabled and trying to deal with customers in my office.

Ordered a cheese baguette and a bacon baguette but both came in a hot dog roll (I wouldn’t have ordered them if I knew that)

Had the large breakfast, not only was it large but very nice. Easily one of the best breakfasts I've had in a long time!
