Always a lovely meal at Bentley's. I'd recommend the pork ribs and hot chicken wings.

THE Best steak house in sussex by far! Absolutley beautifully cooked food, the chest really know what they're doing. Service is on point and all of the staff are very accommodating and friendly! Cannot recommend enough!

This has been our go to place when visiting the grandparents over the years for a "nice meal." Now even better since it's refurb. Staff are prompt and friendly. My steak was perfectly medium and rare, gramps one was an on point well done, mac and cheese and halloumi fries were delicious as well as their desserts (I was hungry alright), fudge sundae was so good I even finished off another what was on special. Perfect atmosphere for an elegant but relaxed meal, like chilling at Miller & Carter in a hoody and shorts. Reasonably priced. Definitely recommend any day of the week

We visited Bentley's Steakhouse to celebrate my birthday. We both ordered the huge tomahawk steak, and it was incredible! We also ordered mac and cheese and onion rings as sides, both were delicious. Really reasonably priced and lots of choice on the menu. The staff were really friendly and attentive. We love the Smokehouse and Steakhouse. Definitely worth a visit!

Found off the busy street, known locally as the high street, this charming little business has been going for some years. With a darkened wood atmosphere and booth type seating along with bigger tables for groups, the whole place gives an American type cozy feel. Staff are very welcoming and appear to be happy to be there, a somewhat rarity these days. Staff were quick to serve and main menus along with specials are presented. A good choice of items available and although a little more on the pricier side, you get what you pay for. Fresh, hot food arrives quickly. The bar offers good choices of hard liquor along with cocktails and the standard beers etc but you come to this place for the steak. A good fillet will see you paying around £40 with some more expensive T bone steak Available. I ordered well done and my fillet was perfect….no burnt crisping beef here! Food portions are good along with the pudding choices too. Overall a meal for 2 with the top end choices will set you back around £100-£115 for three courses….but it’s worth the money. The place was packed so testament to the service and good you get here. A well earnt 5 stars all the way

Happened to be in Bexhill on Sea and visited this town centre eatery. Was expecting a Tex Mex catastrophe so was very surprised to find a well run restaurant with very good food. Thing that grabbed my attention the most was the cleanliness of the place. Front of house were proud to work there. Tables were set and cleaned with diligence and care. Tick tick tick. Food was faultless to be fair. Could run many a BBQ wannabe in Covent Garden a close race. Price point extremely reasonable. If you happen to be in this lazy seaside town do pop along. You won’t be disappointed.

A great evening, staff were attentive and friendly, allowed you time to get comfortable and choose from the menu. Neither of us had steak, we chose chicken and ribs and both were cooked to perfection. Will definitely come again.

Bentley steakhouse is a wondeful local restaurant, food is excellent served with good wines or cocktails. Always an offer on for each season and reasonably costed.

I can honestly say this is one of the best meals I’ve ever had, The fillets was cooked to perfection and the cut looked Awesome. Tried the Mac cheese, garlic mushrooms and double cooked jacket spud Along with the Eton mess. Really accommodating and friendly staff Who attention to detail was unbelievable. Feel very lucky to be able to have a meal at this gem, Will definitely be returning when I visit again.

As a family we've been to the steakhouse and smokehouse (which is just around the corner) and couldn't pick between the two It was our sons 17th birthday yesteday and he requested steak so it had to be the best steakhouse around! Food is always tasty and full of flavour. I personally am not a massive steak lover but the men in the family are and they rave about it! Myself and my daughter opt for the burgers which are juicy, flavoursome and great quality. The staff are beyond perfect! Friendly, professional and attentive without being "in your face" Really reasonably priced too in my opinion for a decent steakhouse 5 of us had a starter, main and 2 drinks each including 2 sirloin steaks and the bill came to £165 Would have loved to have had pudding but our stomachs would have probably exploded haha! I'd definitely recommend for a mid week treat or a special occasion

We came here for our son's birthday-large family meal .The menu had a huge choice, something for everyone! Great kids options . Wonderful atmosphere and super welcoming and friendly staff. We had to alter the booking slightly and the staff went above and beyond to help! Fab communication! Highly recommend the Empire Steak! We had a brilliant evening thank you!

Fantastic family meal - great cocktails, food (the steaks were immense), and fantastic desserts. The young lady who served us was faultless and very welcoming and attentive. My only slight grumble was that the music was a little loud....but that's probably more to do with my age, and it certainly didn't take away from what was a fabulous evening.

If it had 10 star would-be 10 star Sharing board for 2 is not big enough def need some side order or add some meat to it

The meal was prepared to perfection, with a delicious side salad that compliments the steak nicely. Good selection of alcoholic beverages and realistically priced. Great service throughout and will definitely dine here again.

Ribeye steak is out of this world. Every time we are in the area ,it's a must. Excellent service and friendly.

Very accommodating staff, warm & friendly atmosphere, fabulous food with very decent portion size . Only feedback would be towelette’s for the chicken wings and ribs would be handy , and the mc n cheese was a little lacking in flavour, but the rest of the food was excellent , definitely highly recommended.

Visited for lunch with the family and was so impressed that i had to review. Visited with my husband and 3 kids. Food was absolutely delicious! Service from Aslan was wonderful. He was very attentive and ensured we were happy customers. Loved the rock playlist. Will have to revisit next time we are in Bexhill.

Went back again yesterday and still brilliant staff couldn’t do any more then they did T-bone steak was out of this world family all loved there meals. Can’t wait to go back well done guys.

We had a lovely meal here. The food was good. The atmosphere was lively and buzzing and the service was reasonably good if a little slow at times. We all enjoyed our food and the prices were fairly average. We would eat there again but you will probably need to book on a Friday or Saturday night as it really gets booked up.

Great food. Great ambience and friendly staff always at hand to look after your needs. Deserts are amazing particularly the Kinder Pie. It has a nice country and rock vibe whilst dining. Will definitely visit again.

Celebrated family coming together from afar. Very busy on the night we arrived. There were 7 of us. We waited about 1.5 hours for our meal to arrive. The waitress did apologise but we felt as a group it just wasn’t good enough. When you wait that long for your steak which cost £35 you expect much better service. I’m surprised that the owners don’t think that if they are going to be busy they should employ more staff. We have been there before but feel this time they really let themselves down.

Fantastic food and service meals are large

Really enjoyed my first visit to Bentley's for dinner. I had the pulled turkey burner from the specials menu and it was fantastic. The burger patties were cooked perfectly and the turkey was moist. Chips were hot and crispy. My kids chose from the children's menu and really enjoyed their meals. The atmosphere in the restaurant was fantastic. Really lively but still able to comfortably hold a conversation.

We travel from Woking to eat here (85 miles). It is the best food we have ever had. Steak, Cajun chicken and burgers are all out of this world, not to mention their cheesy garlic bread. Stuart is always friendly and welcoming, as are all of the staff. If you haven't tried it yet please go, you will not regret it.

I would recommend to have apple crumble or waffles for dessert.

This is the best restaurant in the south east and I will die on that hill! The steak, oh my god the steak. It’s just amazing, cooked to perfection every single time and it’s a real treat for my husband and I, we absolutely love it here. The atmosphere is great, the cocktails are delicious and the staff are all brilliant. I really can’t fault any of it, 10/10

Booked a table for a birthday, service very swift, food delicious, will be back again. A couple of things, would have been nice to have a birthday welcome, as noted on booking online, perhaps have a booth table, service was quick but no checking if we wanted more drinks and maybe could have had dessert if not so rushed, otherwise would have given 5 stars.

A very nice place to eat out there's a good atmosphere and the staff are friendly enough the only thing was the pulled pork was quite tough in places and very sweet, the bar staff were great as well and made my wife some very nice cocktails

Went to Bentley’s steakhouse on Saturday 4th May 2024. It’s my first time ever going there after my partner has raved about it. When we got there we were seated in a booth and the atmosphere was lovely. The restaurant had an ambient feel about it. The person serving us was called Sophie and she was very friendly and welcoming. We didn’t have to wait long at all to be served. After our meal and we were ready for the bill, Sophie also recommended we try their sister restaurant Bentley’s smokehouse, which will be next on our list. We both had T-bone steaks on the steak stones, it came out on the stones sizzling. The meat was absolutely beautiful, but I think next time I’ll go for a ribeye as it was a lot for me. The chips were cooked to perfection and the garlic mushroom side was divine. All in all a lovely meal and I would definitely recommend Bentley’s steakhouse to anyone who’s never been. A 10/10 experience so thank you Bentley’s but especially Sophie, for making our evening an enjoyable one!! We will be back.

Arrived at 20.25 pm didn't get drinks for 20 mins , food with starter and main took an hour , the wings were cremated , when complained to the manager about the waiting time it was blamed on us for ordering a starter and that they were busy , if you are busy you explain the waiting time before a customer orders , bad service and a manager which had no customer service skills at all , avoid

We had a great time at Bentleys and think the staff are amazing. Everyone was so accommodating to our group, with the food coming out quickly and hot. We had the function room which was a lovely size for our party. We would recommend going there for a meal. My only regret was not trying any cocktails. Thank you Bentleys

The restaurant has recently had a refurb, and looks good. The staff were really friendly, without being intrusive. Sophie served us and was lovely. The food was great, as always although the burgers were a little over cooked, which is unusual. It may have been because they were really busy. It won’t stop us from returning though.

Sophie was really friendly and helpful. She made sure we had everything we needed for my daughter’s birthday meal. We love going to Bentleys as the food is amazing and the staff are lovely.

Went for early dinner and both had T-bone steak and it was perfect. We were served by Rachael as per the time before. She's so friendly and tentative, really makes you feel welcome and is excellent at her job. Always enjoy eating at Bentleys the food is second to none!

Visited Bentley's tonight to enjoy family dinner (Monday night Special Kids eat for £1) We were served by Sophie who was amazing very tentative. The kids wanted to try the special flavour Fanta, Sophie made a special trip back to the bar to make sure the kids were not disappointed and there flavour was indeed in the fridge. Food as always was on point full of flavour and cooked to perfection. The only thing I forgot was a bottle of the Famous Bentley's Bourbon Sauce. Just means we will have to go back for another Visit. Thanks guys and especially Sophie for making our visit so spectacular!

Great cocktails over priced though my steak was cold and had gristle through it. Didn't complain as it was my brothers birthday meal. I've had better steaks for less. I would of minded the price if you get fantastic service and food.

I ordered the chicken ceaser salad. The salad came with zero salad dressing, like anywhere. I asked the staff for salad dressing for my salad and was "informed" by the manager that the ceaser salad doesn't come with dressing 😂. Apparently when you order a ceaser salad with chicken you get lettuce and a chicken breast? I asked for salad dressing to go with my salad. Manager looked annoyed and brought me some vinaigrette something. I told him I would prefer cesear salad dressing. Viola! He came back with cesear salad dressing. Not sure why they keep cesear salad dressing in stock if they don't serve it with the salad despite having the description of the salad on the menu as coming with cesear salad dressing. I eat at Bentley's smokehouse often and usually order the chicken ceaser salad which always comes with dressing. I love Bentley's smokehouse, will not go back to Bentley's steakhouse. The managers attitude was horrible. Yes I know it's owned by the same family. I guess the moral of my story is, go to the smokehouse and not the steakhouse.

We been to Bentleys 4 times but this was 1st time for couple of years. Restaurant has changed - great atmosphere and place is nicely done up. Shown to our ‘booth’ the 4 of us ordered. Nachos to share , chicken skewers and mozzarella sticks. Mains - full rack ribs, Bentley burger x2 and Philly Sub, ice cream, waffle and x2 sundaes for dessert. Very disappointed with the whole experience, nachos look amazing but were let down and just the top layer were covered, ribs were fatty and not marinated enough, they were v tender but simply not right. Burgers were very nice. Philly sub, 1st experience of this so can’t really comment but didn’t seem right flavours. The chips we couldn’t decide if they were awesome or bad which sounds weird but they looked like frozen. The sundae’s desert - 1 wasn’t eaten and that’s sacrilegious as my daughter is desert queen !! Basic taste errors and lower quality food I guess. We had a good time but it wasn’t the same as our other trips. Disappointing overall. Service was poor - it was busy but no attention and we only had 1 round of drinks in 2 hrs. Was so looking forward to the night also.

A restaurant with an American theme, and a splendid playlist of singles to take you down memory lane I thought my calamari starter was excellent, but my main of chargrilled chicken although substantial, was a little disappointing as I thought the chicken was dry. No problem with the service, everybody friendly and attentive, Worth going to again, but maybe chose a different main.

I would definitely recommend Bentleys steakhouse. We went for an anniversary dinner and the food was very nice and came out really quickly. The service was great, especially from Sophie!

Went to Bentley’s today with my family and had Gaby as our waitress. She was so lovely and patient as there was 10 of us. The food was amazing. But the sauces weren’t too great. Would still highly recommend going to Bentley’s for food!!

OMG, best eatery in East Sussex. My wife’s fussy of where to eat, she loves this place as I do. We come over on the train from Eastbourne and always have a fab night out. Value for money, best quality of food & service. End of !!
