Great service and excellent traditional English food. The owner and chef clearly make an effort to provide quality cooking. Best steak & ale pie I've had in years. Lovely views.

I brought my girlfriend here for her birthday she we had the Belgian waffles and they were amazing. The owner gave us each a free scoop of Icecream as a gift.

Great food, great staff, dog friendly with some lovely walks in the immediate area. Can't wait to visit again soon

Had a large family lunch here yesterday and had a great experience. The restaurant is warm and welcoming, as is the service. The food was delicious, especially the grilled meat skewers.

Sushi Wakyo is undoubtedly one of the best-kept hidden gems. I’ve eaten from upscale establishments to budget-friendly options but Sushi Wakyo has to be one of the best! My go-to spot for orders! Honestly, my entire order history is just Sushi Wakyo!

My wife came here with some girlfriends and raved about it so much we came back with some friends for Saturday lunch. Lovely ambience, very attentive staff, the owner is a warm and friendly presence. Food was amazing, in particular my spicy prawn cocktail starter. My main was a little disappointing but I think I simply chose badly - steak frites, not a great cut. Will choose differently next time. Well worth a visit.

I hosted my 40th birthday here with 14 guests and we had a fabulous evening. Emily helped me with organising everything and was incredibly helpful throughout. We had our own private room which was lovely and a set party menu with starters, seafood and meat platters then dessert. We had a couple of dietary requirements too but this was catered for with no fuss. All the food was brilliant. The service was fantastic ensuring we had everything we needed, bread, chips and drinks topped up as required. This is a wonderfully relaxed venue but still delivering high quality food and wine. I would certainly recommend for a party but equally encourage people to come for lunch or dinner too. Thank you again for such a lovely evening. Nikki.

We visited Tides as a big group the Food was excellent the service was excellent friendly helpful and very efficient a hidden gem Tides does not disappoint well worth a visit.

Wasn’t up to usual high standards curry had no spice and was like a gravy. I order here and visit from the malsters the only curry place I go to! but this was very disappointing food was only just warm and not hot
