The best restaurants in South East

Lovely country pub, great food and reasonable prices. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Only downside is no disabled access or toilet facilities, very difficult if your in a wheelchair, but was told this is being addressed in the future.

Amazing food and even better service, Emily recommend me the ribeye which was amazing the best steak I’ve had in a long time. Love the feel of the resturant, comeleltely different vibe to what I’ve experienced before very unique friendly and cosy environment. Will definelty be back

Was staying at the Romney Sands holiday park for a 4 day break. Although I was a little disappointed that they were not open on a Sunday, Monday, or Tuesday, I bought some food from here on Wednesday, and they were really good. They have also resisted putting up their prices, so they are good value also. Have been here several times throughout the years. **Update 12/6/2024** Back again for another break. Went there again and found that the food was really good again. Still the best in the area, and disappointed that I had to wait until Wednesday to experience their food. Prices have gone up, but they are still cheaper than the others in the area. **Update 11/09/2024** Back again for some more quality food, and it's still quite cheap. This time, there was a bit of a wait, probably down to their reputation, being very busy. They now have a system where you can either wait inside on one of the couches or wait in your car. They give you a tag that bleeps at you when your order is ready, so you can pick it up. I've never seen anything quite like it, but it does work, so I mustn't grumble. The only downside, which is beyond their control, is the number of roadworks just between the shop and the Romney Sands Holiday Camp. Will be back again!

Food is lovely, me and my family have been here many times and the speed of the service is unimaginable. Great value, Definitely recommend!

We hired Elm Nursery for the afternoon to host our two year olds' birthday party. She (and we) had the perfect time! It's such a great place for kids that age, very doable in two hours, and not expensive. Hiring it was very easy - great communication and a lovely space that was ours. Would definitely recommend for party hire in future!

We're do I start amazing place ,staff are so lovely ,great atmosphere ,delicious food reasonably priced and tastes amazing ,quirky cool place will definately be going back and I 100% recommend visiting The Bay View .Thanks for a wonderful evening. And the live music from Pete Mod was brilliant .

Best Indian in the area by a distance. Every time we’ve been here it’s been fantastic. Really great food, great service, consistently brilliant.

Askedvfor a kebab in tray today .. the meat almost nothing. Asked with small amount chips . It comes with bang loads chips .....felling like I was robbed. NEVER AGAIN

Popped in on the off chance and was able to sit in as it was quiet. Staff very friendly and welcoming. Food was delicious, warm and came in good time. We had the set menu for 2 and were amazed how many dishes there were, couldn’t finish so they gave us some takeaway dishes and took it home. Definitely recommend
