The best restaurants in South East

Mum's favourite picnic spot, we love coming here even though we live 20 miles away. The staff are warm and friendly and the food is very good. Sadly, I have been told this place has now closed permanently.

You won't get a better kebab anywhere ever! Great people that work there too!

Tried the Pasta Al Arabiata and vegetarian pizza — both were delicious. The pasta had a nice spicy kick, and the pizza was fresh and well-balanced. The rich, smooth tomato sauce perfectly coated the pasta, enhancing its bold, spicy flavor. Highly recommend for a tasty, satisfying meal.

My eldest is a very fussy eater and rarely wants anything anyone else has made. He wanted to try a kebab so we got him one from chippy. He loved it and said he would have it again. Must have been good!!

What a great place, came here to get fish and chips and it was amazing. It was all cooked freshly and whilst waiting had a great chat with the owner. He was right. It was the best tasting fish I've had in ramsgate in years. I'll definitely be going back.

Ordered a kebab and it was full of grease i was sick as a dog . Disgusting food . And you advertise as munch kebabs on just eat but the delivery driver said it was MP GERMAN.

The George is a community pub so we didn't quite know what to expect for a lunch reunion of seven friends. We needn't have worried. The layout is excellent with dining separated from the bar and the setting is charming in the centre of a quintessential Kent village. The pub has a very pleasant ambiance, lovely service, and truly delicious well presented food. Try the squid or the prawns as starters, amazing, pork belly or whole bream for mains - unbeatable. We all enjoyed our food tremendously - all credit to those invested in the project. We look forward to a repeat visit in the near future.

This shop has such a welcoming feel to it, the staff are very friendly and always striving for the best of service. The rocky road was delicious just like the biscoff milkshake.

My wife and I had lunch at Antep today, taking advantage of the lunchtime menu, which was £14 for 2 courses. We thought that every aspect of the visit was excellent. The food we chose was all delicious, (I had garlic mushrooms, then vegetable moussaka; my wife had grilled halloumi, followed by grilled salmon), beautifully presented and great value! We were served by an efficient and friendly person too, which makes a difference.

We passed this restaurant whilst walking around haselemere and decided to try It one evening. Its bright colour and modern design caught our eye. Although the ambience was nice. We were disappointed with our service, and my partner was disappointed with his burger. He tried the Brassa burger and said it didn't really amaze him. I had the chicken brassa, and I liked it. I tried an espresso martini, and that wasn't made very well. The menu is quite small, which usually means that the dishes and drinks are thoroughly practised. My partner only drinks cider, and there was only beer. I used to be a waitress, so I found the service to be disappointing. They took our dishes away before we had finished our meal, and they did not come to ask how our meal was. Overall, I know they are new. I think there is a lot of potential there, and I like their ideas, but they do need some fine tuning to help them along the way. They have one toilet, and it is also equipped for disabilities. You can park on the street or by M and S.

This is easily the worst cafe in Sussex by far. Avoid like the plague.

Lovely restaurant with seating outside. Service was prompt and served by a nice waitress. The fish soup was very nice but not the sort of fish soup one gets in France but delicious nonetheless. The cod cheek was also very nice. I was a bit disappointed with the drinks menu. Cocktails would have been nice

Went in twice today in quick succession as they were so nice for the kids meal we wanted some!! Cooked fresh both times by friendly staff.
