The best restaurants in South East

Had our lunch here a couple of weeks ago. The food was excellent, the service was excellent, and the prices were reasonable.

Made to feel unwelcome ,had a reservation for 6pm and before we even sat down we were told we had to vacate by 7.30 we agreed and the lady then sat us down ,we ordered our food ,the waiter brought our food over and walked away ,we realised my husband’s dish was missing so we called him back , only to be told they are not cooking that particular dish today ,first we knew of that ,so we said what’s he supposed to do he has no meal ,so he was handed a menu to choose another dish ,meanwhile the rice and bread went cold ,the food was actually nice ,we had heard good things about this restaurant and we were treated appallingly.As soon as we had eaten we paid and left ,quite frankly couldn’t get out of there quick enough,so asked the lady who took our order why was a dish on the menu that for whatever reason the chef is not cooking ,she said she didn’t know that .

Visited in September with my couple of girl friend, wanted to give a go for their vegan dishes.. It was absolutely yummy and they have a very friendly staff and atmosphere!

Beautiful food, brilliant location and fantastic staff. Our Nan holds a special place in her heart for the chef who always comes out to say hello to her. The two waitresses are always accommodating and delivery top notch customer service. The food has always been nothing short of amazing! Children love it here too. Will always be our favourite Italian in the area. Must visit in hungerford!

Was driving along back to Bexhill from Eastbourne and wanted somewhere easy to get to for breakfast. Truly Scrumptious is next to lots of parking for the other shops at Ravenside, so not a problem parking up. Two lovely ladies, order for a bacon roll with or without onions and/or sauce. Very friendly service, early morning smiles, thank you ladies. Probably one of the best bacon rolls I have had. Coffee was excellent too. Reasonable price as well. Setting me up right for my day. Will definitely return as their hotdogs are great as well

Loved their Hot potatoes - usually buys them when I'm in the town. Now I have moved to another county, I miss them. Great food, never let me down whenever I had them.

Ordered food at 6.30, called them at 8pm and was told they had just received order. Food arrived extremely late even though the app said it was delivered at 19.40pm. Terrible experience

Had a lovely carvery here today. Food was lovely, cauliflower & broccoli with cheese was amazing- best I’ve ever had. Service was great too.

We have stopped here a few times, today we decided to try their sausage bap , and bacon bap, really nice and extremely good value, nice coffee and good service, would recommend if your down next to the pier,

Oliver's roast beef was the best I can remember having. Friendly and attentive service made for a perfect Sunday lunch.

Well worth a pause here because they have Absolutely THE best Sausage Rolls on the planet. Great Service from a happy crew and good value for money.

Pre ordered a couple of platters for collection on December 7th for a function on the 8th. As always, service & quality of product was top notch & yummaliscious too.. Til next time..😊😋

An excellent Bangladeshi restaurant. Food was very tasty and we were very well looked after by Jalal. Best of all for me, I was able to eat gluten free thanks to the gluten labelled menu and the knowledge of the staff. We will be going back!

Lovely quiet little oxfordshire pub. Friendly staff and good selection of beers. Only open part time so check if your passing.
