Always friendly, warm & inviting. Good selection of unusual beers - plus proper ciders, perry's, gins & all sorts of other things if they are what you're after.

It's a pub/restaurant but the food is really good and reasonably priced. Lots of curry options

Booked a table for 6.30pm, upon arrival informed it would be a 30 minute wait for food. We thought ok not a problem. A hour and half later still no food!! We walked out, never have we done this before. The service was non existent, the kitchen staff did not have clue what was going on. There were people whom had arrived before who also still had not received their order. Completed ruined our night and made us extremely late for our event later in the evening.

Breakfast was delicious, well prepared and surprisingly not expensive at all! Great job !

Wonderful little cafe, the kerb appeal had us intrigued 😊. loved the quirky layout,cosy atmosphere and friendly staff.We will be back. We only had tea and a toasted sandwich, but couldn't fault the food or service. Gluten free options too.

If I could give this this a 0 star I would!! Absolutely discusting!! Food was gross!! Didn’t have half of the menu so choice was limited! Would not recommend!!

Had the Margherita pizza which was good. Good service. No vegan options available :(

Stayed here for a long weekend and it is really amazing. I didn't know that Queen Elizabeth II was friends with the family and stayed here often. Didn't get the Windsor suite but never the less a really lovely stay in a beautiful hotel. Grounds are great and area really good for beautiful villages. Food very good as is wine. I found the wine selection limited but not really complaining as they were good wines. Our room was at top of hotel but there is a lift so if you have a problem with stairs use the lift. Room very comfortable and great view.
