Vanessa was a pleasure to deal with from start to finish. Woodies catered for my mother’s funeral, the food was delicious and they were so professional. Would highly recommend.

Such a beautiful cafe. The coffee was excellent as were the pastry. I would come again. Went past there again today, look forward to visiting again, pleased to see it is still there.

This restaurant/café has always had some very good vegan items on the menu. The cherry scone and other scones are particularly good. It has always had non-vegan items, adding meat in recent times, milk, meat and some fish make me unwell, so I do not consume them and avoid other animal products as well. The Quiché pictured is vegan. My last visit which was before Christmas with my sister, we had a fruit scone and a cheese and marmite scone. Both were vegan and both were stale warmed up. This experience is quite disappointing and is an exception. Very convenient for rail (Ashford, Redhill, coast, London, Maidstone), buses, shops, good size Waitrose and Barsleys a lovely old-fashioned department store.

We had yet another lovely lunch at this cosy friendly cafe. The food and service are great. We have also been to one of the special evenings which we loved and looking forward to going again. We would rather support independent cafes which every High Street needs. Keep up the great work.

Lovely little cafe with a great selection of drinks and snacks for all diets, as well as providing superb service. Came here for the first time today with my sister for quick cup of tea and coffee and felt very welcomed and comfortable. Prices are reasonable, atmosphere is relaxed, decor nice, and we particularly appreciated the cast iron Indian teapots! Definitely need to come again to try your lovely looking cakes! 😀

Expensive.. ordered a bacon and egg panini that said £5 on the menu to then be charged £10 because it was half hour after 11am and came with abit of salad on the side and was charged £14 for chips, egg and beans which I don't think is right whatever the time of day it is especially considering the venue and location.

Stale and bland carrot cake that cost an arm & a leg plus barely warm watered down coffee.. Rude staff when dealing with the issue. Better off waiting till the new cafe opens in the high street!

Lovely individual café/bistro in Paddock Wood main street. Easily passed as it looks like a solicitor's but is actually a great little place for coffee and a treat, it amazes me that people choose Costa's when this place is 2 minutes walk away. Smart interior, pleasant outside seating and table service to non-sticky tables.

Staff are Very friendly although the breakfast are very small portions for the price they charge £9.50 I don't think I would go for the breakfast again.

Visited for an impromptu early lunch,staff were very friendly,place was clean however the food was disappointing,food took quite some time to get to us and when it did mine was cold and quite tasteless - my partner's was ok but nothing special - maybe we just caught them at a bad time. Unfortunately I can't seem to reply directly to you after your reply to my review so I'm adding my reply to my review. We had gammon egg and chips . And meat spaghetti Bolognese. I Was expecting a hot gammon steak but instead got cold gammon ham , and the eggs were also hard , the Bolognese had been sitting a while before it was brought out to us as the linguine not spaghetti was all stuck together solid . It had to be cut in chunks as there was no other way of eating it . The sauce was rather bland and seemed quite watery . We were told the 25 minute wait was because we were the first people to order chips . We arrived at 12 10 pm I would have thought the chip fryer would have been put on earlier to heat up . As we only had an hour's parking we had to hurry our meal and leave .

2023 July Nice friendly staff. Thought the breakfast menu was a little short on choice. The food was hot, well presented but a tad over price. Please go see for yourself and support a small local business. If you park in the road the other side of the car park you can park for 2 hours free other wise it's 1 hour which we though was not enough time.

What a fab find! I called yesterday to reserve a table and while I was speaking to the lady (I think it was Vanessa or Dee?!), she took the time to go through allergens and what was suitable for my son who has allergies. Turns out a lot! The food here is amazing and for my son who is allergic to eggs and nuts, the selection of vegan cakes and scones meant he didn't have to miss out on a treat. She obviously takes allergens so seriously and I cannot tell you what a difference it makes to have that reassurance when eating out. The food was delicious, the drinks were yummy and the service was great. Even though they were hoping to close early, they in no way made us feel rushed or as though they were wanting us out which was really appreciated. We can't wait to visit again to try more of their amazing menu, a real treat for Paddock Wood to have this place! Thanks again for a lovely afternoon 😊

The croissants were the best even better than the ones in Paris. Had our little dachshund with us and she was also made welcome.

This place is a really lovely gem. Came on a bike ride from London and had lunch here. Was super delicious and my partner is gluten free which they also cater for 🕺 we had the falafel flatbread which was great and they gave us some free pineapple salsa from their Jamaican night which we also adored. Nicely decorated and stylised. Lovely staff. 10/10 would go again Our only criticism is we ordered an affogato and it was a milkshake instead of ice cream with espresso but I should have asked. Thank you

Literally one of the best cafes I have ever been too( and I've been to a lot). Coffee is great, scones are to die for, service is wonderful and overall they are always friendly and willing to go that extra mile. Thank god we now have a great coffee shop in Paddock wood

Come here if you want a fresh bite. Good veggie and vegan options. Makes a nice change from chain coffee houses. Interior feels minimalist but comfortable. Service is a bit strange, as the till is hidden away in the kitchen, it would be nice to be able to order and pay at the table. The toilet is downstairs, but not very wheelchair accessible.

I use this fabulous cafe a lot as I’m coeliac and have always found them to be so accommodating as far as my diet goes.The staff are friendly and the owner has worked really hard to make this what it is today ...just what Paddock Wood needed.

I attended a birthday party for my niece Sonia today..there were lots of family. Who really enjoyed everything Food Wine and Hospitality was outstanding..thank you very much thoroughly recommend this venue....top marks.

Just stumbled across this friendly and cozy cafe. Excellent coffee and even though none of us are vegetarian, we thoroughly enjoyed a delicious breakfast. We are converted! Highly recommend a visit.

First time visiting and hope to be back. Very friendly staff, indoor and outdoor seating. Amazing to have so many vegan and vegetarian options, plus gluten free options. The staff did very well to sort our complex mix of vegan, vegetarian and gluten free orders! Savoury food was tasty and well made, enjoyed the mixed platter and burgers. Coffees and cakes were an additional treat! Again lots of options on show.

I've been in 4 times so far. The staff are friendly but the food is hit and miss. Today lunch took an age to arrive and we suspect they ran out of salad and nipped to the Tesco local to buy some more. When the food finally arrived (my dining companion's arrived 5 minutes before mine) the salad was really basic and undressed. The fries were soggy and the burger I ordered was dense. I want to like this place, and will try it again, and it ought to be asset to Paddock Wood, but at times it feels ever so amateurish. The inside dining space is small and sometimes it is unbearably noisy too: partly staff and partly braying customers. They are now doing Just Eat as well, which is always a bad sign as visiting customers suffer as food orders for delivery clog kitchens up.

Absolutely lovely cafe. Come here every week with my toddler and the staff are so friendly, remember his name and manage his curiosity wonderfully. Also helps the food is great and best coffee in Paddock Wood.

As soon as we walked in we felt welcomed and at home. The staff were delightful and cheerful. The menu was great and had green V's by everything vegan. We chose the vegan sausage roll lunch and marmite scone lunch along with a gingerbread vegan hot chocolate. They were quick to serve too. There was outdoor seating as well as indoor on two levels. What a great place.

Delicious drink, sumptuous food and friendly staff. The only down side is they're so popular you might not get your first choice of food because an early bird has scooped up all the scones

Such a wholesome experience (in every sense). Mostly vegan food, all freshly made, friendly service and great coffee. I have gone in here for breakfast and brunch with my family as well as perched myself on a stool to work. Always welcoming, always delicious. Maybe pop next door to buy a traditional toy and support a local business.

I love that Woodies is on my door step! The staff are lovely, the atmosphere is always relaxed and their coffee and cake is always spot on!

Welcoming, helpful, adaptable. Vegan and gluten free meals were delicious: toastie which came with salad and coleslaw, meat free cottage pie. Very cosy. We'll be going again.

Really lovely lunch and the team couldn't have been friendlier! They made my little girl feel welcome with a high chair and little plate for our sharing nibbles, and my non-vegan husband loved his vegan toastie. We'll definitely be back!

The food is amazing, sweet and savoury. Hubby had casserole with dumplings and I had a savoury scone, no beef wellington and gingerbread cake. Wonderful
