We stumbled upon this lovely restaurant while looking for somewhere to eat in Margate. We were welcomed in to eat despite it being the end of a long day for the restaurant team and without a booking. The decor is beautiful, the staff were warm and friendly and the food... we were impressed. It's delicate and delicious with options to suit lots of tastes. The price was very reasonable for the quality we experienced. Thank you 🙏

Came in on Saturday lunchtime absolutely faultless in every way, very good service absolutely outstanding food. Already rebooked so worth the hour travel time to you. No doubt we will be regulars!

I have been trying to book this restaurant for close to two years and I have still not managed to eat here. Just to explain, I have relatives in the area so when ever I visit the first I do is try and book Mori Mori. I use the website and every time I try and book, I get some kind of excuse about why they can't take the booking. I honestly don't know how they are still in business. First few times I just put it down to luck. But there is a clear pattern emerging now and I can only say, don't bother trying to book, just eat somewhere else. On the plus side, it means I have to find other places to eat and that has introduced me to some other great restaurants.

Mediocre ramen flavour with small portions and the cheek to ask for tips in the end. I get that it’s riding on the trendy Margate food scene but it’s not an excuse to command a rather high price point and yet have smaller than average portions. Even Wagamama have bigger bowls and yet costs far less. I get that it’s an independent business but you could at least pretend to give your customers a more fulfilling offering by having bigger bowls with more broth, and that barely make a dent on your production cost. And stop asking for tips in the end, we’re not the US. For this reason alone I will not eat in here anymore. Stop this tipping culture!!

Pet friendly place the lady was super warm and the food was super delicious

A diamond in the rough of Cliftonville. Surprisingly authentic dishes (we visited Japan recently so came in with high expectations), server was attentive (even though the restaurant was very busy) and even provided training chopsticks for the child. Atmosphere was great, though the poor cook was very busy! I don't think they needed to replace our chopsticks between every dish (we must have gone through 3-4 pairs each, lots of washing up for some poor soul!) but otherwise perfect all round.

Small and charming restaurant. Food is delicious, serving very nice. Dog friendly and often you don't need a reservation. What do you want more? Highly recommend!

Fantastic food and service. Came here with a group of 12 for dinner and were all blown away by the delicious food and drinks. The kimchi okinomiyaki, brisket bao and ramen were brilliant and the staff were really helpful and friendly. We even got great recommendations for bars in Margate that were just what we were looking for. Thank you!

Delighted with our dinner at Mori Mori. We discovered okonomiyaki, Japanese pancakes, utterly delicious! The kids had kids portions of ramen bowls which worked out brilliantly as it was just the right size for them and a bargain £5 per portion. Very helpful and friendly staff, and expert cooking from the chef, a lovely relaxed atmosphere. 100% recommend and would definitely visit again if we were local to Cliftonville.

We had Udon and Ramen here. The service was efficient and professional and we really appreciated that the lady who served us separated one portion of Udon into a child friendly version for our child so my wife and he could share one portion. I would eat here at least once a week but, although the food was amazing, £17.50 for a bowl of Ramen is a bit steep. This will be a treat meal.

Fantastic Japanese food right in our hometown of Margate. Friendly, knowledgeable staff and plates beautifully presented - food delicious and reasonably priced. Had been meaning to try for some time and will be returning sooner than later - yum.

Even though we were the only diners that night, the staff made us feel really welcome, and we had one of our best restaurant experiences. Thoroughly recommended!

If you fancy some Japanese cuisine, then look no further than Cliftonville's MoriMori. Very friendly staff, and delicious food. I had the okonomiyaki which is pretty much a cabbage pancake, but believe me, it's tasty and filling. I plan to try their bento next.

We had the most wonderful time here last night. Service and vibe were fab, the food was NEXT LEVEL delicious and the Sake was spot on! Can’t wait to go back again and again. Thank you!

We stumbled upon this place and we’re lucky enough to get a table for 2 as a walk in. Service was friendly but they seemed a bit short staffed. Food was delicious, we loved the ramen and panko prawns were the best I’ve had! All washed down with some delicious sake. The restaurant could benefit from some mood lighting for a more relaxed dining experience and the chairs were also quite uncomfortable to be sitting for a long time. Would recommend and hopefully will be back for our next visit to Margate!

The smoked tofu is second to none, they are dog friendly and you can't fault anything on the menu. We've been three times and will keep going back.

We discovered Mori Mori by accident and we’re delighted with our find. The team were warm and friendly and the food was truly excellent. It was a delight to find something of such high quality and different to the standard choices. If you’re in Margate don’t miss it!

Disappointing. Ramen broth was very tomato-y, and noodles were bland. It reminded us a bit of spaghetti hoops. Chili oil was not spicy. Bento had too many pickles and not enough rice. I felt pickled-out by the end. Smoked tofu was nice, but it was a small portion, and was basically just cut up and served cold out of the pack, nothing special. The smoked salt on side of edamame was the highlight, but edamame was cold (fine for a bento, but why cold for a side?). Waiter was friendly but other staff a bit less so.

Went in by chance as just spotted while driving passed. Thought we would give a try. What a great little place. Great vibe. Good quality food and very tasty. Service very friendly . Only thing is a little pricy but good quality never the less . 100% worth a try if you enjoy Japanese food.

Such a disappointment. Had really high hopes for here as a great lunch time option. The bento box was just some salad and noodles and a bit of sushi. Very small portion too. Not packaged with any care. won’t be using again, real shame

My fave dining experience in a good while. The food was fresh, smartly presented and flavourful. A big thanks to the kitchen for their hard work and, last but not least, to manager Maria who is a gem and set the tone for a really lovely evening.

Mori Mori is a crisp and modern space, serving delicious Japanese food. The manager was slick and professional, we were looked after with easy going chat and had a great meal. Her kind presence made us laugh, informing us that Mori Mori means to enjoy food with enthusiasm, this was very forgiving as we had ended up in moments with it all over our faces! Big props to the chef and staff, thanks!
