The Langley Country Park is a treasure, as is its tearoom. While staying at The Langley hotel that adjoins the park, we enjoyed daily walks on the park’s many pathways and usually wound up back at the tearoom either for tea or, as on several occasions, to enjoy their excellent all-day breakfasts. The atmosphere was always relaxed and pleasant, the food outstanding, and the service friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend!

I was surprised that the vegetarian sausages were cooked on the same thing as the meat. I wasn’t told this last time I ordered, so think the chef needs to rethink this as it makes vegetarian food not vegetarian! There was no lunch for me that I could eat and the lady behind the counter was very rude. It should also be dog friendly as you’re not allowed inside even if holding a dog, in a popular dog walking park, this is very strange.

We were spoilt for choice with the menu but even more impressive was the customer service. The staff showed attention, care and patience while serving us bearing in mind the needs of someone with a severe nut allergy in our group. The staff went out of their way to make sure they took all the right precautions and that we felt safe and comfortable. Never had this level of wonderful service before. And I spent more money than I planned. So it was a win-win all round!

Upon my arrival at café San remo in Langley park, I was instantly greeted with a warm welcome by the lovely Sunday staff. Although it was busy the staff kept the queue flowing at a constant pace. They offer a range of gluten free and vegan cakes as well as alternative milks for any non dairy coffee drinkers. The staff catered well for my son who has a deadly allergy to nuts to ensure he to could enjoy the delicious food. Even though there was a busy queue and a lot of kitchen orders for food, the kitchen staff managed to keep food coming out every minute. The front of house staff were really usefully in making our day that bit better by engaging in conversation with us. I will definitely be returning with my family in the near future. A big thank you to the Sunday staff at café San remo in Langley park 👍🏻

The whole atmosphere of the tea rooms has changed, no longer are the staff warm and welcoming & it certainly no longer feels like a friendly warm & welcoming country tea room. It says on here it’s open until 1700hrs, well the doors maybe but don’t expect to get anything after about 1630 as the staff have virtually got their coats on ready to leave at bang on closing time. The chairs are all up on the tables even earlier than that making it unwelcoming and making it look like it’s closed to discourage customers. Don’t attend around school picking up time as the chef may have left to collect his child from school so you will have a long wait for food. Service is slow and the coffee leaves a lot to be desired. San Remo, langley Park is very different to Black Park & you need to make the tearoom feel like a real tea room again and quick, it has lost all its charm in a very short period of time. Please prove you care & return it to its former glory.

Popped here for a coffee since recently moving close by. The place has a lot of potential but I thought it was pretty average. Ordered a vanilla latte; far too much syrup in it, could only manage half the coffee because it was so sweet. Had a Beatles album on full blast; not my cup of tea, would have preferred no music at all. Recommend that they have a variety of music rather than just one artist (won’t please everyone with that). Would go again, but purely out of convince if I was walking in the park.

I often suggest the tearoom as a place to meet friends due to the relaxed atmosphere. I have a young baby and have always felt comfortable breastfeeding and that we are welcome here. We visited the park and decided to grab a bite and a coffee. Here is what we got:1) Kids jacket. My daughter said it wasn't fresh, the skin was burnt and the portion was so tiny. They covered it with loads of cheese. In fact, there was more cheese than the potato.2) Plain scone served with jam and cream. Sadly, the scone wasn't fresh. It was too dry.3)Coffee cappuccino was okish but it was too milky for me.It's a nice spot and I hope that the food will be better next time.

Visited here on bank holiday Monday 7th May 2018. Really fast and polite service. Ordered a vegan breakfast (still served after 12 which is fab) and a full English. Service was good and Mary offered us a slice of her her homemade vegan orange fruit cake. There are a number of tables inside but with it being 26 degrees we chose to sit outside, if you’re not a dog lover be aware that there are PLENTY of dog walkers at this park but we didn’t mind. The breakfast was reasonably priced (£6 for a plate including tea/ coffee), filling and the cake was moist and tangy with just enough sweetness. Service was fab and the place is modernly decorated with exposed beams and a beautiful flower garden 30 second walk away. Great for families, couples, anyone wanting a nice day trip away!
