Green Cafe in South Bucks

I wouldn’t eat it again if you payed me Terrible food , like a monkeys cooked the breakfast, over charged me , shells in my egg , onion rings taste funny, they only take cash so obviously their not paying tax their sending the money home but don’t worry I work for the tax office

Best fried breakfast I’ve had and I’m Scottish

Been here before for a very enjoyable meal 7yrs ago (my phone informed me) strangely enough for the same reason (a hearty meal before AC/DC at Wembley). The food was cooked to perfection and the portions are huge and reasonably priced. Didn't have to wait too long for the food and the staff were efficient and friendly.

I go there a lot because it's a good cafe it does what it says on the tin

Simple,basic and average a shame !

This is a classic village type cafe however the quality is very good and the customer service is top notch. I love their full English and their latte's. Definitely a great destination if you want cafe food but with that extra customer service and care

Good grub and very clean. It was a Sunday when we visited, so it wasn't incredibly busy and we got our food quite quickly. It was my first visit and won't be my last.

Super clean and nicely decorated cafe. Lovely staff and excellent food, all freshly cooked and good selections. Selected Breakfast B which was beautifully cooked and hot! Speedy service with a smile.

Superb breakfast, could not have been better. Cash only was a scare for a moment until we realised we had it between us ... Could have been washing up for the day! Superb butchers next door, pork chops could not be better, rind on and 2" thick, perfect. Sausages incredible too.

Great cafe, I go there regularly. Always a top breakfast.

I would of give you a five stars Except 1 thing the sausages were not for me my breakfast was lovely (picture 2 on the menu) good value for money the service was really good I really enjoyed this breakfast and I would go back but I wouldn't have the sausage

Food is good and reasonably priced. Good for breakfast and sandwiches. Coffee is just freeze dried made with hot milk. Overall good service. Usually full of locals or trades types. Nothing there is really healthy but you're not going to go there if you are on a diet.

Basic cafe with good food and value for money. Ambience is sparce but does not affect the overall food experience.

We used to love the food here but last visit will be our last neither our food or our coffees had any flavour think they must now be stocking lower quality (cheap) goods although the prices on the menu show the opposite=prices ⬆️ quality ⬇️ sorry to say.

Brilliant local cafe. In the good ol' days I would have called it a proper greasy spoon but these days that would probably put people off ..and in truth there was no greasy in sight. Open early morning and all day. Very close to Denham train station & shops. Very friendly staff team - welcoming, helpful & hospitable. Serves a good range of breakfasts and warming comfort foods, all at a reasonable price.

Hi to the staff at the green cafe, I remember fondly coming here around 12 years ago with my late father , all the way from Chesham on a friend's recommendation , it left a good and a lasting impression ,1950s authentic American cafe , I remember having a double cheeseburger fries and a coke ,it was honestly the best I've ever had hence why I am writing this review now as I did not realise you are still open for business after all these years , will definitely have to pop over one day , thanks.

Good fry up, staff are very friendly and helpful. Only take cash, so make sure you have enough with you.

Rubbish cheap food “ sausages are re heated so much there is no meat left inside and u get a crunchy sausage sandwich 🤮and they only use cheap sauces which I cannot stand. They charge more than enough to be able to serve some HP or Daddies sauce!!!

A top notch, great British modern greasy spoon. There were no actual greasy spoons; the cutlery was very clean. We wanted tea, coffee and bacon rolls. Fast service at the table, friendly and the bacon was great. Roll was a tiny bit crusty, not too floury. Perfect. Bacon crispy, mushrooms bang-on. Exactly what we needed when we needed it. Go in with your expectations calibrated appropriately and look after this local business. 🥓 ☕ 👍

Although the food was ok and reasonably priced, the type of music was awful and so loud that I might of well been in a nightclub for the 16-21 year olds.I rushed my food just so I could get out. Beware cash only too!

Simplicity done excellently. We needed a grin and we got that with good service and a smile.

Popped in on the way past after taking an unexpected detour on long journey. The cafe was clean and tidy when we went in. The breakfast menu had lots of options so we ordered two very reasonably priced choices which included toast and tea/coffee. The meals arrived after a short wait. The portions were generous and the food was freshly cooked. All the staff were friendly and attentive. Pity we’ll probably never pass that way again because we would definitely make it a regular choice for breakfast.

Asked for a double egg and mushroom roll and got a box with egg and mushroom ordered to take away as our unit in 5 miles away tried to contact the cafe but number is out of order

Good food at a very reasonable price, friendly helpful staff and a clean environment. Parking is usually possible.The thing that I liked least about this cafe is that the tables and chairs are fixed - so when 5 of us went in for a quick lunch, one person ends up on their own on a different table - couldn't pull an extra chair over.

Love this little cafe for early morning breakfast after a workout in the gym with friends.

Driving up to London and starving hungry so popped into this cafe on the parade. Served quickly by a very nice young lady. An enjoyable meal and a "frothy coffee" Drove off feeling sated.
