Small cafe in Farnham park. Sells hot drinks like tea/coffee/hot choc, cold drinks, hot food, sweets & snacks to take away or there is some basic seating to sit inside & outdoor seating. Handy if at a sports event like football matches, rugby matches, baseball/softball events, with your children at the children’s play area or dog walking. Also toilets & free parking at the park

Home Plate is a magnificent adjunct to the baseball/softball facilities at Farnham Park, supplying hot & cold foods and a diverse range of draft & bottled beers. Highly recommended for all baseball / softball / football supporters. The foods include the best bacon rolls in the area, a wide selection of burgers, hotdogs, thru to samosas, chocolate, sweets, lollipops & ice creams. To drink, there is full range of juices, teas & coffees. Did I mention the carafes of beer?

We hired the venue for a 30th birthday celebration. Other thank having a great time the venue was super cool and unique. Highly recommended!!!

Had probably one of the most overpriced lukewarm burgers I have had. Burgers were low quality and look like they were out of a freezer shop. For that price I would have expected a homemade thick burger. If you want to charge those prices I suggest you go to Patty and Bun in London and see how a proper burger is made.

Staff are always super friendly and welcoming. Good choice of drinks and food which is very tasty. Relaxing place.

Stopped in here for a bite to eat and ended up staying here for the whole evening. Great food and amazing atmosphere. We were made to feel very welcome and will definitely be back! 5 star!!

The crew at Home Plate go above and beyond to make every baseball and softball weekend that much more enjoyable. They're friendly, they pull a good pint, and considering the fare (burgers, dogs, etc) the quality can't be beat. Hands down, you should hope the pesto feta pasta is available. I eat it twice every weekend and is delicious every time. Also, the firecracker hotdog is a low-key awesome member of the menu.

Come rain or shine, the atmosphere is always great and food delicious. Lots of choices even if you're a veggie! Friendly and fun place with lots of food, drinks and games to enjoy.

I can’t thank these guys enough as we have just had the best ever company event with them! Sara and Marcus who own and run the venue are brilliant hosts! I had the task of organizing our semi-annual company event and what better than soft ball, arm wrestling, beer pong, raffles, ping pong, loads of other fun games, excellent food, drink and cocktails! The only place to have it all was the Home Plate Bar and Kitchen. Patrick from Baseball Softball UK and his amazing team ran the softball on the day which was so much fun and everyone got stuck in and had a great time. A couple of people have been converted and now want to sign up for more softball! Sara is clearly a pro, as despite being almost laid back about it all, on the day she was fantastic and the reason why the event was such an amazing success! There is a really good selection of food, which all tastes great and it’s very reasonably priced. Feedback from the all the people who attended has been extremely positive with everyone saying it has been the best company event we have ever had. I would 100% recommend, you won’t be disappointed!

Visited here (this sports complex) to watch some kiddies baseball. The sports complex has fields for football, and a number of baseball fields. We had some coffee and burgers at the Home Plate cafe - nice enough !

Sara and her team were so welcoming and accomodative for our GB U19 softball team, we couldn’t have asked for more and it set us up perfectly for the European Softball Championships in Italy. Nothing was too much at any time of day (thank you Marcus for all your help too) and the food was 5 star and absolutely catered to our needs. I genuinely recommend this place, even if you’re not a softball/Baseball fan and just happen to be passing the area. If you get the chance, try Sara’s paella. One word - delicious. Amazing food the burgers are just lush, haven't had better fries just amazing! The staff are all lovely and friendly, they make sure the food fits to your dietary needs. Recommended a visit you won't be disappointed.

We use homeplate whenever we have a softball tournament. Great food, brilliant staff and always a good night after a long day of softball. The entertainment is always great too!! Definitely check it out if your in the area!!

Great food and staff are extremely friendly. Not too badly priced and they'll mix any cocktail you want! Not a massive fan of communal toilets but they're always spotless. Would recommend

One of the friendliest and yummiest places I've had the pleasure of visiting. The owner is so welcoming and is frequently found behind the bar and kitchen to ensure that standards are met. The general crowd (you're surrounded by baseball/softball players) is fun and friendly. If you feel like a chilled out few hours and a couple of laughs, this is the place.

What a great venue! This bar offers a friendly, fun environment where small and large groups can be accommodated. The beer is great, the food is lovely and the cakes are amazing!! A lovely place to chill out and watch some softball in the summer too!

I'm a softball player, so reason to be here, but massive improvement on food/etc. to what been at Farnham Park previously. Beer on tap, decent burgers and other food (including salads for the healthier types).

Love it, finally somewhere you can get great food in the park. Had lunch with the family before watching the softball. Lots of choice, great quality and friendly staff. Good for a proper meal or just a flying snack. We will be back.

This is an awesome little cafe with the most delicious menu and fabulously friendly staff. Was there with the family and felt right at home. Had the Big Fly hamburger which was amazing and even went back for cake in the afternoon. Wish there were more cafes just like this. Happy, friendly and super scrummy!

So tasty, so much choice. Staff so friendly! I don't play softball or baseball but it is great fun to watch. Very welcoming. Dog friendly. Child friendly. So much choice on the menu. Love it.

Came across this great cafe/bar at Farnham park when I was checking out the sporting facilities. Had a lovely time there. As I am lactose and gluten intolerant I usually find it hard to find food but they were happy to adapt their menu to my specific needs, a rare treat!

Popped in to grab some lunch. The burger I had was delicious - great additions and fries. Best food I've had in the area. Lovely staff and great decor.

This is a great little find, especially out in the sun in the summer. The burgers are worth a try if you get the chance, innovative recipes, well presented and great value. Staff were wonderful and extra marks for having a table tennis table out the back!

Great attention to detail in both the food & decor ensures that everyone in the family (player/supporter/child/canine!) is catered for whatever the time of day! With the added bonus of live baseball/softball right on the door step, not to mention the ping pong table for more leisurely viewing, this sets an example for all sports bars to follow!

The Clubhouse provided a great lunch option while attending the weekend tournament. The food was good qualify and arrived in good time. Staff were helpful and friendly. Will definitely go back next event.

Such a step up for softball tournaments. Great burgers (The Crush was awesome), pitchers of beer available and finally decent veggie options. Wifi in the clubhouse and they accept card.

A place to rest your feet before, in-btween and after games, also great place to just turn up and enjoy the atmosphere, based at the National Centre for Baseball and Softball in the UK, food is great and very reasonably priced, services is great, lots of room for large groups, team tables avaiable for team dinners, you will be treated like family.

Great little venue with reasonably priced delicious food on offer all with a baseball them. Very clever, and I love the glove seat! Amble seating and tables outside too, perfect for the warm (that might be wishful thinking) summer months ahead! I'll be back!

This is a really lovely little bar with bags of atmosphere. It is quite a unique space that is ideal to visit if you want good food that is freshly cooked. The menu is varied and often themed for baseball and softball enthusiasts. I have eaten there when there have been games in the surrounding pitches that you can sit and watch whilst enjoying good food and great drinks. It is in a really great spot far off the beaten track - it is worth investigating this hidden gem.

A nice small and cosy bar and kitchen, nice relaxed atmosphere with friendly staff and great food from a variety of food choices on their menus. Great outdoor beer garden with a table tennis tables and plenty of seating by one of the Baseball/Softball fields so you can watch a game while relaxing with food and a beverage.

Chanced upon this recently opened gem, cannot recommend highly enough. Great atmosphere, food is amazing (try the Grand Slam burger!), just generally, genuinely lovely. Check it out!
