Absolutely amazing had some very tasty well cooked onion rings and a sausage they were both lovely and at a very reasonable price will definitely be coming back here

Fab fish and chips, the portion sizes on the chips are huge! A large can feed 2 people quite easily! Always tastes fresh good prices on cod to. Great curry sauce to 👌

Have not had fish and chips for ages, but just fancied some. Always liked this shop and did not disappoint. We had 2 large cod and one large chips between and could just about finish the meal. Absolutely fab piece of fish, crispy batter and just right fish shop chips, slightly soggy and plenty of vinegar. Sometimes the idea of fish and chips is better than the reality, not in this case, all lovely

Was able to make fish n chips for an event of 50 people! Very nice fish n chips, as well as sausages. Delicious!

Great that they take card. Great that they offer small, medium and large chips. Good fish. Not just the tail ends and reasonably priced. £7.50 for large cod, haddock etc. Lots of locals queuing is a good sign.

Best fish and chips around pulbrough area

I tried this fish & chips as I was not happy with the other places I tried ie one being a van with on street cooking, it was ok “but!”. I was very happy with the quality of the fish and chips and the way they had covered the COVID requirements, ie a personal buzzer to alert you your order was ready. Albeit only one visit I can highly recommend them. I’ve continued using this place since my first visit 👌

Update April 2022: still excellent. Beautifully cooked chips, very reasonable prices and very generous portions. To pick up a bag after visiting one of the local vineyards, to enjoy on the train home with a bottle of English sparkling wine, is my idea of heaven. Original review from 2016 ish: This place was a bit of a godsend - we had just a few minutes to spare to find something to eat before boarding a long slow train back to London, on which there isn't a trolley service or anything. We were a bit unprepared, had already used up all of our emergency snacks earlier in the day, and had our 4 year old daughter with us. As this was the only business of any kind within the immediate vicinity of the station I hurried in. There was a queue of several (to be honest) rather grumpy old men in front of me, but the member of staff behind the counter, on hearing I had a train to catch in a few minutes, very kindly gave me our food first. Ours was a quick and straightforward order, I doubt it delayed anybody else's by more than a minute, but still, I can imagine he may have got some flak from the other rather surly customers for that after I left, and so I am particularly grateful. We ate the fish and chips on the train (the carriage was practically empty so it didn't bother anyone) - there was a general consensus that these were actually pretty good fish and chips, and a potential toddler crisis was averted. Thank you Station Fryer.

Quick, reliable. How westsussexmale managed to have to wait for an hour is beyond me. I’ve lived in Pulborough 12 years, eat from there probably once a fortnight and have never waited more than probably 8 minutes. It’s almost always between zero and about 2 minutes wait.
