Lovely quiet little oxfordshire pub. Friendly staff and good selection of beers. Only open part time so check if your passing.

An excellent genuine local pub. One of a dying breed. And as the other reviews say, the locals are friendly and the beer well priced. To clear other points up, they do take card payments and the opening hours are in the photo below..

If you are in to local village pubs, The Green Man is the pub to be. Lovely pub in a great village location and full of character and characters. We were made to feel very welcome even though we were not locals, and will definitely be calling in again before our holiday is over.

Very cute little pub close to Anita's caravan site in Mollington. The staff were very friendly and it is very cosy in there. We unfortunately had to cut our visit short as I am very allergic to dog hairs, and there had obviously been quite a few dogs in there, which set off my allergy. 😢

Nikki and Neil are doing a fantastc job. In the short time they have been there, they have made you most welcome and are willing to try different events. As the quiz-master I can say we have had two very successful quizzes so far raising just under £400.00 so watch this space for the next date, and there could be a suprise or two. Quiz-master Bryan

A wonder of a time capsule, with the cutest owners and interior ever!! Don't forget cash!! (A bit of pain, as we forgot the 2nd night, and only had enough on us for 1 round)

Lovely traditional pub. Don't go expecting food though - it's a pub, not a restaurant masquerading as a pub ie trendy "Bar and Kitchen" flannel. Took a walk up from the canal at Cropredy last Friday, took about 50 minutes. Nice seating area out front, rear garden not currently in use. Clean and comfortable. No background music, no intrusive TV, just conversation. Busy with locals and the odd tourist family. Clean outside loos. I always judge a pub by the cleanliness of its toilets. It doesn't matter if they are old, just CLEAN. If the loos are clean then the cellar is probably ok and the kitchen, where appropriate, of a good standard. The only downside for my wife and i was ordering two pints of Hooky which were bottom of the barrel and definitely on the turn. Took them back, only the one handpump so exchanged for fizzy cider (it was a hot evening so not the end of the world for us). As i ordered a second round the landlord was flushing the ale line (perfectly acceptable if you are putting the same beer back on, needs a full clean if a different one). A bit later the landlord came over to where we had moved inside and offered me a quarter pint from the new barrel for our consideration. Spot on! So we finished with a pint each of lovely Hooky when we had only intended to have the two pints that evening. Every barrel has a bottom. Not a problem, it's how the bar staff deal with it that counts. So full marks. Conclusion: a proper pub with friendly locals and owners. We are rather fussy about beer quality. Both of us are cellar trained and between us have spent approximately 40 years behind the bar in award winning real ale pubs. As such we are looking forward to returning to The Green Man later this week. Almost forgot! CASH ONLY!

A small bunch of senior (retired) school mates on a short trip to Banbury and surrounding area, and decided to stop at Anita's caravan and camping site....AGreat place .... Just at the back and a short walk we have the Green man public house.... A very very traditional pub, with a few guest ales and my favourite, Guiness....the landlord was first class, having been in the trade for the last 38 years.... A very friendly pub with limited passing trade and these days the landlord is easing back heading for retirement.....therefore opening times have been limited.....from 7pm on Wed through to Sunday.... Highly recommend, a very welcoming little country pub with masses of charm...a must see boozer...cheers, Chris.

Always sure of a warm and friendly welcome from hosts and locals alike in this cosy family run pub. Visited every summer for 9 years when staying at Anita's campsite and attending Silverstone for the MotoGP, cannot speak highly enough of the hospitality, home from home!

Landlord Ken is an absolute diamond. A beautiful, historic building, competitively priced beer and a warm welcome. Everything you want from a pub. When I complimented him on how cosy it was he was humble and gracious and called it his home. Definitely going to be back.

For context, I have been brought up with curry houses in the west midlands A frequent visitor to the balti triangle. I have been looking for a good curry in the banbury /west oxfordshire area for a year now. Nothing really tickled my fancy been looking for a good curry house to represent whstbi have experienced form a young age, as well showcase good Asian food to my girlfriend who hasn't really experienced it apart from bad takeaways or really bad supermarket versions. Jool did that everything seasoned to perfection. Nothing too small to ask for service amazing I felt guilty I didn't have spare change for a tip Will be going again to try more dishes We chose from the banquet menu.plenty of food. Sadly we had been to the cinema and couldn't do justice to the meal they gladly packed up for absecond attempt at a glorious meal at the weekend. If you want to taste of what a balti should be go here
