The problem with this place is the manager. My friend has Parkinsons disease which makes speech very difficult. She was told by the manager to get out because she was drunk. She only drinks Coke. She was in tears and I gave the manager a piece of my mind. The manager insulted my other friend saying he is too fat, and banned him saying he didn't want him here. He patronises customers,
saying that you have to sit here, insulting them by pointing at tables. His pizzas are small thin and inconsequential at an enourmous price, over £20. The manager is stark raving mad, charging up and down the tiny seating area talking to himself and making hand signs. This guy is a bully to his young staff who are amazing in their manners and attentiveness. Many customers complain, but are ignored because that guy is arrogant. there are many pizza places in the area where you will get friendlier and more respectful service.
The best fish and chips I've had for a long time. The food is excellent and the staff very welcoming especially Sam and the lady with her. A lovely place to meet up with friends.
Had a lovely evening yesterday at The Square. Busy with lots of atmosphere, papas was delicious. My favourite dishes were Burrata beautifully presented and Whitebait. Loved the way you could order a couple of dishes then more as you wanted. Ample wines and spirits. It would be nice to see an alcohol free wine on the menu. Staff friendly and helpful. Highly recommend.
Came here for a family lunch and just stayed for a drink as the place is really grubby! Needs a good clean! I would hate to look inside the kitchen.
Definitely would not recommend. The marquee outside looked nice.
Called in here today for lunch.
Very good choice on menu.
Generous portions served.
Staff courteous and service good considering it was quite busy.
Prices very reasonable.
We've ordered a takeaway from this restaurant 3 times. The first time it was ok, the second time it was really good, but the third time will ensure we never order from here again. The pork in the sui mai dumplings was completely raw and the chow mein noodles had no flavour, despite opting for spice. The spring rolls were also soggy.
But mainly it was the raw meat... 🤢
Visited Queenie’s Vintage Tearoom today for lunch. Food and drinks were excellent. The owner is friendly and makes you feel very welcome. Our waitress was great and everything was spot on with our order. We spotted that they have evening events and will definitely be back for one.
Overall a lovely place to visit 😁
