Lovely toasted sandwich. Lots of flavours. Nice herby scone and the home made pickles were delicious. Definitely recommend.

The lift café is a gem. Do not be put off by the scruffy appearance. It continues to serve the best toasted triple cheese with spring onions and mustard on local sourdough sandwich, probably in the Western world. It also comes with home produced pear pickle. Each sandwich is enough for two. Do not miss this treat while in Folkestone.

This cafe is in a fascinating heritage building with loads of character. My ultimate cheese toastie was absolutely delicious! Highly recommended but don't postpone your visit, because the cafe will close when the refurbishment of the lift begins. We are hoping they will re-open nearby!

We went there after a swim off the beach. Really old building part of the old funicular. Tea pot to serve tea which is refillable. Toastie with 3 cheeses. I think I’ll make this a regular. Servers were friendly and helpful.

Had the homemade soup here several times. And every time loads of flavours, just delicious! Shared a homemade sausage roll, again delicious. Very importantly the coffee is always smooth and the strength perfect.

I have had lunch here a few times and decided to bring my learning disabled sister here for lunch. She chose Spaghetti Bolognese while I had Chilli Con Carne. Warm brownie & cream for afters. Service was quick & food very enjoyable, will come back again soon.

Came here for our morning coffees and they were just ok. Dirty chai taste funky and the flat white was meh. Inside, lovely decor and really does look like a nice place to hang Staff were polite and friendly

We popped in on a recommendation and it did not disappoint. The service was friendly and the food was incredible. I had the Djangos breakfast and I couldn't stop eating it even though I was full. They even had lots of Gluten Free Options. Can't wait to go back.
