Really nice donner kebabs! Do try.

Just had the most disappointing fish and chips from Fry-days. Only a quick trip to get home but the batter on the fish was so soggy it completely stuck to the paper, so could only scrape bits of fish off the wrapping. The chips were also soggy and tasteless. For the price this is very poor.

Chips were stale and felt as they were sat out all day.

Undeniably the best chippy in Witney. The food is always super fresh and the guys that run the place are really friendly, now our go-to for fish and chips despite living the other side of Witney.

Picked this plaice, sorry place 😉 off a Google Maps search for fish n chips with a higher rating. This one comes up as averaging 4.7/5 so not bad. We were in Moreton-in-Marsh last night & the other place we considered was in Evesham, also 4.7/5. I'm a bit funny with batter, lactose intolerant & it sits in my head as 'deep fried crispy milk' 🤣 so I'm generally careful with the amount. No worries with Fry-Days mind, not too much, not too little. Small fish & chips twice....for 20 quid!! Wait...what? £20? Like 10 quid each? Bit of a shocker!! Although not as much of a shock as the foot long HUGE fish I unwrapped 😱 😱 and nearly as long with Lisa's 😱 Seriously, these are massive portions....if these are 'small' you'll need to carry a pair of 'large' between you and your mate/partner/kids/etc. Anyhow, paper looked a bit greasy unwrapping but no issues, chips were nice & tasted of potato chips (always a bonus), not too crispy but not bad at all, batter was good, not full of fat or too much of it, fish (cod) was beautiful ❤️ and gutted I couldn't finish the portion 🤷🏼‍♂️ I tried hard mind, alas it was not to be 🤦🏻‍♂️ Lisa couldn't either though and did say we need to be sharing portions like this in future. Overall, really nice, really pleased and REALLY full. Added to our fish n chips hall of fame. Not one we'd travel to for the experience but definitely if within half an hour or so 👌👍👍

Really nice grub here. You can ring and order to collect witch is very handy. All the food is lush and the double burger with an egg is my favourite. Nice friendly staff to.

Popped in during the midday opening and never used "Fry Days" before and ordered sausage and chips with a drink for a fiver which I suppose is a pretty normal price these days. The chips were freshly cooked and the sausage tasted nice so pretty satisfied would recommend

Got fish and chips from here tonight on the way back from a hospital visit in Oxford so stuck in traffic. Have to say it's the best fish and chips we have had in a very very long time. Great quality lovely batter and chips that reminded me of great one's we used to get when bunking off school lunches year's ago. Tasted to me like they were cooked in dripping fabulous.

By far the best Chippy in the area,as lunchtime didnt go too heavy but the chips were excellent and very fresh...the curry sauce is a must try as far superior to the usual lumpy sauce you get elsewhere,this was smooth,thick and nice n tangy. Service with a smile too!!

Staff are friendly. Place is clean and welcoming. Prices are fair. Servings generous and tasty. Happy to have them as my local chippy.

After reading the great reviews of this chip shop we gave it a go.... The fish was absolutely disgusting! Dry and over cooked,must of been sat for hours. My son had scampi and promptly spent the evening vomiting! They also forgot to pack any of the sauces we paid for in the bag!? Really disappointing!!!

The quality is excellent, hygiene is excellent, and the food is freshly fried and with a great choice. Hey they even have stools to sit on if you have to wait. What's not to like?

I tried Frydays this week and found it to be the best chips and sausage I have ever had. Chips where so tasty and the sausage flavoursome. Definitely recommend and going again.
