Fantastic food in a great location. Cannot recommend enough. The waitress was so good and absolutely at the top of her game.

It was a very pleasant place where we ate very fresh fishes very well coocked. I forgot my sunglasses on the table but only realized it when we came back to home in France. When I contacted them they sent me back my glasses in France and did not ask me to refund them. I found this behaviour really customer facing.

Lee and his team Oscar and Casha (spelling?) looked after our party of four on my birthday brilliantly. Great service, great food and wine. A thoroughly memorable day! Thank you. Regards, David (and Patti).

Little Rock has always been a favourite spot but yesterday the food was exceptional!!!!! The fritto misto had that sweetness that we have only ever tasted in Venice, and the Mojito Cheesecake with Mint Granita was the best dessert I have ever tasted -- as the neighbouring table confirmed when they took my advice!!

This is our third visit to this little gem. Food excellent great service and lovely location. What more could you ask for.

Little Rock came highly recommended (by Aidan of Spitfire Barn and Huts) and certainly did not disappoint. We went with child and dog, and both were made to feel very welcome. The stunning place belies its container legacy, and feels cozy yet stylish, and puts most restaurants to shame. The service by Lee and Kasha was immaculate, friendly, helpful and, well, just perfect. The food is excellent - not cheap but very very good value for money. Grilled sea bream, scallops, crab - all wonderful. Thanks a lot. We’ll be back.

I am always delighted when arriving at a restaurant and the staff greet you with a huge smile and make you feel instantly welcome. We had booked the bottomless brunch menu to celebrate a birthday, and everything was just superb. We had a wonderful waitress called Kasha, she was friendly, attentive and made you feel like you were chatting to a friend. I wish more waiting staff had Kasha’s attitude, it makes such a difference to the dining experience. On to the food, that was so delicious. The bottomless brunch menu consists of two courses, mains and a dessert. For mains we had Pale Ale Battered Cod Cheeks and Seared Folkestone Scallops on toasted Docker Sourdough bread. Both had terrific flavour and the skin on fries that accompanied my Cod Cheeks were wonderfully addictive. Desserts we chose were Marinated Strawberries & Cream and Chocolate Delice, Honeycomb & Raspberry Sorbet. These were the perfect end to the meal. A lovely touch was being presented with plate with Happy Birthday written in Chocolate along with a scoop of sorbet. The bottomless portion of the bottomless brunch relates to the alcohol with a choice of Prosecco, Mimosa or Bloody Mary. We chose the Prosecco option and it certainly felt bottomless. The restaurant is right on the seashore with a lovely atmosphere. Huge thanks to the chef for cooking such delicious food and to Kasha and her attentive friendly service.

Mackerel fillet with samphire was delicious and the sides of vegetables perfect. Staff were friendly and efficient and the atmosphere was lovely. Great location looking straight out at the beach. Out door area that looks as if it would be lovely in summer but on this occasion with howling gales and April showers we were very glad of the warm inside welcome.

When we went in and sat down fully expecting the same service and quality as usual. This was not the case, the service was slow because there were just two people waiting at tables and two cooking. The main course fish was overcooked and so was the broccoli. The level of pleasantness one usually encounters was not really there and music had been introduced, a strange style of mood music one might expect in a beach bar in Spain. Don't allow your standards to drop to mediocrity. Folkestone will lose its edge and the crowds of people looking for something special will dissolve away.

A lovely warm welcome in this attractive beachside restaurant. Staff incredibly friendly and knowledgeable and great food. Would thoroughly recommend.

We had a truly excellent lunch for 7 people. The food was fresh & delicious, the service perfect & the ambiance delightful

What a fabulous experience. The young waitress, who’d previously worked at the sister restaurant Rock Salt, was delightful. She offered us a taste of our proposed wine choice which resulted in us enjoying 3 different bottles of wine. We had Mussels, Scallops and our friends had crab salad, which were absolutely delicious. Our main courses comprised of skate, Bream and plaice which were cooked to perfection. We finished off with an excellent Expresso Martini to round off a super day. Keep up the good work and we’ll look forward to seeing you soon.

We have been here several times, in a shipping container, with wide Windows and lovely sea views,it's well worth a visit. Pleasantly warm on a cold day, the menu includes ,catch of the day ,it included mackerel,plaice, and sea bream, I opted for mussels ,with sour dough bread,a side of fries,my wife the whole mackerel..Both delicious,followed by Eton mess. Friendly staff in a setting of the old Folkestone Harbour station ,well worth a visit

An absolutely brilliant brunch , the food was excellent quality and plenty of it . The staff were very attentive topping up our drinks throughout. It is good value and something just a little bit special.

Absolutely fantastic food, they even pointed out at the time that children eat free (There was an offer so watch out for next one's) we all tried new things and it was the best mussels I've had in years. Attentive staff, if they hadn't had the free child offer I'd say it was tiny bit expensive but you get what you pay for. I bet the views are wonderful along there at sunset.

Visited Little Rock on bank holiday Monday with our two young people for relaxing fish lunch. This is our second visit this summer, although not local to Folkestone it is a wonderful day out and this must include good food on the beach. I enjoyed the catch of the day, plaice and skin on chips accompanied by the heritage tomato salad, washed down with Sea Change Rose Spumante, perfect! The knickerbocker glory was devoured by our daughter and others enjoyed the ice cream. The ambiance and charmingly efficient staff will guarantee our return.

Over rated, over priced.. had high hopes for this place, but staff weren’t too accommodating, we’re going through closing up routines as early Y as 9pm But worst was the shocking poor Burata main course, which was certainly starter sized, and £4:50 for two slices of bread was an absolute rip off.. at that rate it would be £20+ a loaf…. On which planet. Won’t rush back
