Good choice of dishes Authentic ,nicely prepared We liked the lamb shish, among other things Pleasant and efficient staff Can be busy at week ends We like it!

Perfectly marinated meat and beautiful tender lamb, rice and wheat was a bit dry but overall very nice Cocktails very expensive unfortunately

As we arrived 6.00pm the table for us was a mess. Menus overspilling and an excess of plates. We had to help the waitress to clear the table. The waitress was giggling that the table was a mess and that she kept forgetting everything. We had paid a £25 charge to hold the table BTW. We ordered drinks, which took too long to arrive, when it finally did, we ordered our food starters and main. The starters arrived and we ate them they were very nice or perhaps we had waited do long! We had to ask for more glasses, and the kids drinks and the staff kept forgetting! An hour and a half later the mains had still not arrived. The girls were standing around doing nothing as far as we could see. No drinks offered, no attention to detail, no care at all, extremely poor customer service. don't be drawn in by their website like we were. No clean cutlery or Napkins brought to the table. When my wife asked how long the food would be as we have 3 children with us, their response was "which table are you sitting at". Poor poor poor, no observation. The decor had blu tac marks on the walls, no what is advertised. Lots of crumbs on chairs left from previous customers The owner is very ignorant, no sorry and no offering for our children. She was very defensive, she said they usually give people time between courses. an hour and a half..... Between courses, We said its been 1 and a half hours. She said people come to enjoy their food...... I said with what cutlery. She was more than happy to take our money, but very ignorant and in no way interested in finding a resolution. Her last words were if you don't want to listen........ And then walked off.

Absolutely fabulous as always, cannot fault this restaurant in any way, also would recommend the Turkish coffee afterwards

Had a super meal here with friends (6 of us all together) and although ordering separate dishes was very pleased when all arrived at the same time. The restaurant was very busy - always a good sign - but even so the service was really good, the staff friendly and obliging and the meal itself outstanding. The only criticism that we had was that the baklava dessert was still frozen at the centre. However, to compensate we were given two helpings to take away. These, once home and completely thawed, were delicious! Would definitely go again.

This was our second visit, to celebrate a birthday this time. Lovely restaurant, very friendly attentive staff and absolutely amazing food!

Who would have thought Lee on Solent would have been such a desert for vegetarian eateries? We definitely didn't. So, it was a bit of a result finding this place. Decor is lovely, waiting staff lovely and the chef breaks the trend of....lovely and is best be described as AMAZING!!! An absolutely faultless meal. Thank you all. We will see you again.

Food was overly priced for a takeaway. £18 for a shish kebab and rice. Paid £59 for a takeaway for 4 people. Food was dry and not that appetising. Also, previously I wanted to book a table for me, my husband and four kids but they said this was a ‘large’ party so charged me £30 deposit. I had to cancel due to illness and they wouldn’t even let me use this money to take off a takeaway. Bit greedy I think. Won’t go again!

Absolutely brilliant local restaurant. Really lovely, fresh food, plenty of it, brilliantly authentic and tasty. Really attentive service. Spot on.

Stumbled across this restaurant and were glad to see it was open for a late lunch as we were starving and it was after 3pm. Lovely warm welcome by a charming waitress and a lovely atmosphere . Nothing was too much trouble . There were four of us and we just fancied some tasty bits so ordered the hot mezze and the cold mezze , both of which are for two people to share . Hot bread and dips were delivered to our table which went down a treat and were delicious . The food then arrived and we were all really impressed , it was beautifully presented and there was lots of it ! We ended up taking some home . Would definitely recommend this restaurant and we will certainly be visiting it again .

Wow what great food, i had heard great things so had high expectations and it did itself justice. Can totally recommend the halloumi and Sucuk starter it was perfection. Will definitely return next time I’m looking for a nice night out. And try the Efes draught or the pink gin, both were nice

I visited this restaurant last night with 2 friends after a recommendation. Food and drink was lovely, cannot fault that. We had a table booked for 6pm. At 8.30pm a member of staff came over to us and asked us to leave as the table had another booking and the people were waiting! This was the first we had heard about having a time limit on our table. We were still having our drinks. 5 minutes later the same member of staff came back and again said we had to leave. At this point I became annoyed and asked if I could just finish my drink first which I had paid for. If they had told us when we first arrived that we had to be gone by 8.30pm then we would have been ok with that but to come over and ask us to leave I feel was really poor service. Because of this I wouldn't be in a rush to come back.

I’m gluten free and would like to thank the waitress we had Kayleigh for noticing burger wheat in my meal which stopped me from becoming very I’ll, fantastic service and food,looking forward to next time.

This was our first visit to this restaurant following several recommendations from friends and four of us visited on a Thursday evening. The young waitress seemed nervous and kept addressing us as “my dears”, which became a little annoying and patronising. When the drinks were served she spilled some wine from a glass onto the tray but there was no offer to refill or replace. This was a shame as the food was excellent and the portions generous. The complimentary bread and dips were very nice. We would be happy to return due to the quality of food and hope that the service was due to inexperience and nervousness.
