Lovely food and good service. Cocktails are a bit steep at £10 bit I guess that's the going rate now?!

Even though it was my first time, I felt like I had been coming here for years, the food was delicious, the waiters were very polite, thank you Antep Kitchen

I Brought my family here for a birthday meal. The food was delicious, really fresh and well presented. I would recommend the lamb chops. Lovely! Our lovely waitress Sophie even brought out a birthday cake and all the staff sang birthday wishes to my partner! Really nice touch and much appreciated. We will be back. Thank you

One of the best Turkish restaurant I’ve ever been to. I was coming down from Birmingham and I thought I will give this restaurant a try and it was the best decision I’ve ever made. The cold maze sharing platter was so good and the mix grill was amazing. The bread was soft on the inside and crispy on the outside. Can’t find any fault of any dish. Every taste in mouth was sensational. Absolutely recommend this restaurant to anyone who is in the area or want to try something different. Will definitely visit again when I’m in the area

We visited with friends all of our first visits. Monday evening, we had booked but you could have walked in it was not busy. Very attentive waitress, helped with our coats and took our drinks order. We ordered a selection of the little mezze plates to share. It was so delicious we ordered a second selection. House Red was very good, I asked for a glass of water and received a whole bottle. The men had Cobra beer. Food arrived in a timely manor Everything was delicious. So fresh and tasty. Waitress checked in with us for drinks or anything we needed. Food is on the pricey side but the high quality of the food is evidence of why you pay a slightly higher price. We didn’t have room for mains or dessert so we will be back. Great evening with Friends and absolutely delicious food.

Went on a Friday night and was so impressed not only with the food which was absolutely delicious but the great, friendly service where nothing was too much trouble. What an absolute gem of a place. Thank you!!

Thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience with all my family, 15 of us. Service was first class, very relaxed family friendly. We were 2 months to 79. Highly recommend. So pleased to have this in Lee.

Excellent!! Started with the cold mezze selection for two people An enjoyable selection with some old favourites and a couple that we had not eaten before. Only other comment ... the portion sizes made the dish suitable as a first course for 4 to 6 people and was really too much for two people who were following up with a main course. Main course... I had a lamb cube kebab with a salad and the chili side dish, my companion had a chicken kebab in yoghurt. The lamb dish was just the right size, the chicken dish portion was enough for 2 to 3 people!. We will go again

The entire menu is filled with food that not only looks nice, but tastes nice too. The portion sizes were very large, making even the keenest of eaters full. Would definitely return, especially as all of the staff were very well trained and kind :)

Party of 5 for my Brother's birthday. 5* for the food, service and atmosphere however it was very pricey. £20 for a main course seems a bit much. Couldn't fault it though and would recommend to others.

We came here this evening, a party of 9. Very impressed with the restaurant, food was amazing we all had something different, and no complaints from anyone.

Very positive, very nice place and good attention

We booked a table for 6pm two weeks ahead for a family birthday meal. When we arrived the table wasn't ready then when we sat down we had to ask the waitress to remove a pile of menus from our table. After we got our drinks it took a while for our starters to arrive but we all enjoyed them. After an hour and a half our main course still hadn't arrived and our young children were getting hungry. The waitresses were all standing at the bar with their backs to the customers and seemed unaware that we still didn't have our food. When one of them went to the kitchen to find out we decided that we we had waited long enough so asked for our bill. The manager was not happy about that and said customers are uusually happy to relax between courses. We found staff here to be inattentive and unorganised and people at the table next to us came in after us but had their meal and left before we had even had our main course. We would not be in a hurry to eat here again.

Lovely staff but had to wait outside on a cold evening for 20 minutes after our table booking time. We had ordered drinks whilst we waited but they didn't turn up. I think do.ebof the staff were new and not quite up to the job yet. Nevertheless, the food was fantastic and a great buzz. We'd certainly go again

All I can say is, wow. The food was so fresh and tasty, absolutely amazing. You definitely need to try it out, words can't explain it. Lamb shank highly recommended, thank you guys. Just amazing, wow.

As we arrived 6.00pm the table for us was a mess. Menus overspilling and an excess of plates. We had to help the waitress to clear the table. The waitress was giggling that the table was a mess and that she kept forgetting everything. We had paid a £25 charge to hold the table BTW. We ordered drinks, which took too long to arrive, when it finally did, we ordered our food starters and main. The starters arrived and we ate them they were very nice or perhaps we had waited do long! We had to ask for more glasses, and the kids drinks and the staff kept forgetting! An hour and a half later the mains had still not arrived. The girls were standing around doing nothing as far as we could see. No drinks offered, no attention to detail, no care at all, extremely poor customer service. don't be drawn in by their website like we were. No clean cutlery or Napkins brought to the table. When my wife asked how long the food would be as we have 3 children with us, their response was "which table are you sitting at". Poor poor poor, no observation. The decor had blu tac marks on the walls, no what is advertised. Lots of crumbs on chairs left from previous customers The owner is very ignorant, no sorry and no offering for our children. She was very defensive, she said they usually give people time between courses. an hour and a half..... Between courses, We said its been 1 and a half hours. She said people come to enjoy their food...... I said with what cutlery. She wasn't impressed 😂 She was more than happy to take our money, but very ignorant and in no way interested in finding a resolution. Her last words were if you don't want to listen........ And then walked off.

Our second time visiting Antep.. Both times have produced tasty, delicious, flavoursome food.. Atmosphere and staff are great. Highly recommend a visit to this hidden Turkish jewel!

The food here is exceptional, fresh ingredients, expertly cooked and bursting with flavour, hands down the best Turkish food in the area. Nice to sit outside on a sunny evening as well, will definitely return :)

Good food and very nice service

Thursday lunchtime for two. Disappointing. Falafels came greasy, cooked in old oil by taste of it. Baklava was soggy and sparsely filled, with warmed honey poured over to disguise old stock. Americano coffee had strange taste, undrinkable.

Word of mouth excited my taste buds for Antep. Was not disappointed. Lovely presented tasteful food with very generous portions.

Have visited a few times now and have enjoyed the lovely food and service from this very lovely authentic Turkish restaurant, would recommend the salmon rice and salad dish which was cooked to perfection and quite filling, the complimentary homemade bread with dips are so moreish so be careful not to fill up to much before your starter or main, but overall the quality and value for money is second to none! Highly recommend x

We visited with friends and enjoyed a fantastic meal. One of our friends is Turkish and helped with the food selection. Always a great atmosphere on a Saturday evening when the restaurant is full. We will return very soon.

First time at Antep. Food was fantastic (a meat lovers paradise), with huge portions. Fortunately, happy to provide a take out container for our leftovers! Service was really good & despite being busy, the food came quickly enough. Got a pretty informal feel to it, which was nice but can't fault the overall quality of the experience. Thanks!

Went for lunch, the staff were excellent, food, well we couldn't fault it, we had a 2 course lunch l had lambs liver for starters and chicken shish for mains. My wife had a vegetarian option. Only gave 3 stars fo atmosphere as there was only 1 other group of 3 people in at the time, but it started to get full as we was leaving.

This was a lovely evening out. This is good food and a nice place to go and I would recommend it. Definatly the best Turkish restaurant in the Gosport and Fareham area.

It is perfectly genuine Turkish food in a great quality and size of dishes (as big as the ones in Turkey) with real Turkish hospitality of Turkish employees. It was a great self care and nice surprise as we never expect such a delicious food in our very first Lee on the Solent experience.

Great food, my husband and I love it here. The staff are attentive and we are always satisfied and happy when we leave here, plus we get so much food there is always lunch for us to share the next day.

Have eaten here a few times now. Always had good service and nice meals. Nice and clean, Usually better to book ahead.

Went for dinner on Saturday. Lahmacun and Adana Kebab are recommended. Mezes as well. If you like beer Tuborg is recommended. Their tea after dinner was almost perfect. Thanks staff for all. Thanks Fatos Hanim.

Absolutely love this place. We came here Saturday evening, I would recommend booking as it gets very busy. Amazing meal, after ordering we were brought out warm bread and a chilli hot dip and a yoghurt dip, both delicious. We then ordered a chicken shish xnd a mixed kebab shish, came with rice and a huge bowl of salad. Really tasty , best chicken I've tasted. If you haven't tried this restaurant yet then make sure you go it's just the best.

Great food, veggie options too. Just be aware you don't have your table for long, I think it's 1.5 hours...I expect its because they're so busy.

So disappointed as had heard rave reviews. Booked a week ago and were excited to visit. After waiting 20 minutes whilst other later diners had their orders taken, I had to walk to the bar to ask to be even offered a drink. They were clearly under staffed, although the staff we spoke to were very pleasant and apologetic. When our food finally arrived it was very mixed. My lamb in yoghurt was nice but my husband's chicken in yoghurt was overcooked and burnt underneath. Extremely disappointing. Were given a 20% discount as an apology but would rather have had a nice meal in the first place.

Gone down hill in recent months. Slow service (took 20 minutes to get a menu brought to the table!), didn’t tell us that no longer doing certain products on the menu until we ordered and then had to change our minds. Such a shame but won’t be returning.

Antep remains excellent in every respect. Most recently, I hosted a party of eight and had had to amend the details a couple of times after the original booking. Our large table was very satisfactory for a lunchtime was only moderately busy. The food was excellent and the eventual bill surprisingly modest.

Absolutely delicious food! Very polite service, very attentive as well. Lovely atmosphere, good variety of foods and drinks on the menu. Food all comes out hot and fresh, discovered the restaurant two weeks ago and have eaten here twice already! Portion sizes are very generous and they have the most amazing and fresh chilli sauce. Highly recommend the mixed kebab dish, very tasty indeed! 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻5 stars!

Great menu. Ordered meze for 2, and a main each. When the meze arrived we had to cancel the mains Meze was huge, and delicious. Service was good, but it was late lunchtime so not crowded.

Lovely food but very disappointed with the service, we booked a table for 8pm, it took half an hour for our order to be taken. Starters came out fairly quickly but by 9:30pm we still hadn't received our mains and we had to ask where they were. Not impressed at being charged 28.00 for a bottle of wine that you can buy in Asda.overall not a pleasant experience and we won't be going back there. The kitchen can't cope with the amount of covers there were in the restaurant at the time, they need to rethink and manage better.

Awesome food, great busy vibe. Attentive staff. Good prices. Looking forward to going again soon. So much to choose from on the menu.

Vegetarian food was limited and only average yet other food was enjoyed by my meat eating relatives. Service was friendly but waitress needed training on how to serve without reaching infront and across customers all the time.

It was amazing, recommended by a friend & was worth going to. The meze were great in particular the pepper & aubergine. Brother in law had the mixed grill & thought the lamb was amazing & moist. Sorry but this restaurant did not live up to all the ravings in gosport about it. So over priced.. £55 for a platter for two, which was basically a plate of mixed kebab meat over microwave rice, and a small bowl of salad. The lamb meat was so overcooked and very greasy!. Then got charged £5 for one coffee and a sparkling water!! Would not go here again and would not recommend. Thank you for your response, but you have not mentioned the microwave rice you served up .. Really!! In a restaurant?..or the over cooked lamb.. And we were asked if we were happy when asking for Bill, we said not and we were also asked if we would return, we said probably not, but you still expected full payment which we paid without question Not good customer service.

1st visit and we will definitely be going again.

Truly the best place to eat anywhere in the local area. Booked a table from 4pm on Saturday until 6. Were given Bread and dips with our drinks on arrival. We had the sharing platter for starter then the £55 mixed grill for main, totally worth every penny, all of the meats were cooked to absolute perfection. Will certainly be going again. Thankyou!!

Food was fabulous.Lovely restaurant and staff very attentive despite it being very busy.Only crisicism was we were placed by the door and it got cold with people coming in and out but we will definitely be going back.

My initial 5 star review: 'Brilliant in every possible way. If you have the lamb shank, make sure you leave plenty of room.' Have been back twice and the last time it was overcrowded, with no ventilation and very stuffy. The food was so-so, probably because so many were in at once. Service was poor and one side dish didn't arrive until we were ready to go. Now that they 'force' two sittings between 6pm and 10pm, there isn't enough time to socialise with friends. Disappointed.
