Gosport Best Kebab in Gosport

Will never be ordering from this place again. Cold food and out of date Coca-Cola.

Popped in here. What can I say, not the best. Staff were ok but not by any means friendly, the salad was nice enough as was the kebab itself however the portions are tiny compared to my usual. I wouldn't go here again when up the road there's alternatives with better reputations. Wish I read the reviews before ordering.

Let's be honest when a dirty lamb doner is now at the price of a mixed curry and rice you'd at least expect OK portion sizes. Process of making a kebab is pretty simple, buy a 30kg frozen Lamb slab from JJ foods for £130 approx (160 servings), heat it up, slap it in a pitta bread with a little bit of sliced salad and smash it in a box. Total cost circa £2 to make. Add cost of staff and running the shop... Still a healthy profit, I'm sure you'd agree. This place literally gives you half the content of meat compared to any kebab shops I've been too in Gosport. Why why why do you charge so much for a sub standard kebab, it literally makes no sense. Moreover it looks desperate to me like you're struggling, especially as you don't even have your lights on outside. WARNING! DO NOT USE THIS KEBAB SHOP. Use Sultan Grill, Istanbul or Orhans in my opinion.

Ordered after a very nice evening in! Ordered a quarter pounder and an inch garlic bread with cheese what can go wrong? Well I’ll tell you what it was disgusting the garlic bread with as thin as a folded 5 pound note and the burger with as tough as my nans old toe nail… I’m a lover of burgers and never fail to finish one of even the biggest of ones but this was absolutely disgusting and will not be ordering again

Disgusting! One word for the cheeseburger meal I ordered tonight. I get it was probably one of the last orders of the day but that’s no excuse! I have ordered many times before and it’s been one of the best but tonight will be the last time I ever order from this place again!

Ordered a kebab, chips and drink meal. The chips and drink never arrived. Rang the shop and they said they would send the missing items. They’ve not turned up. It’s too late now.

Ordered at 11pm, it has taken till 1.10am to say they’ve ‘delivered my food’ yet it’s now 1.30am and no one has shown or even attempted to deliver. Can’t get through to restaurant and had no phone calls or cancellations.

What an absolute joke of a woman answering the phone I asked for a child's doner meat and chips but for the chips to be separate she tells me no she can't do that she will have to charge me for a portion of chips on top of the kids meal absolutely ridiculous will never order again from there

I ordered via just eat and really enjoy the food and the fudge cake however the donnor meat could of been hotter. Overall I had a great experience and will be ordering again from here.

The only kebab shop I use, always good value, pleasant service and good quality food. When we have visitors from Newcastle, they always want food from here.

Made the mistake of popping in for a small lamb donner and chips at 10.30pm on a Thursday. Nothing to praise it for and I threw most of it away. How can you get lamb donner wrong? Just found out their Food Safety visit in early Dec 18 resulted in one 1 Star - shocking.

Had a family takeaway from here tonight. All I can say is avoid this takeaway. the food from here was absolutely disgusting. We ordered 3 kebabs and one burger and chips. The chips amounted to about a dozen chips the burger was barely cooked. As for the kebabs the salad which only consisted of a tiny bit of lettuce. The meat in the kebabs only amounted to about a handful between the 3 kebabs and which was burnt!! So do yourself a favour and avoid this place.

I love the fact that they open at good hours (ie. at night and very earlym orning) which is convenient for me. The food is great and never had any problems with waiting. I also love the staff, they're very friendly and patient. Would recommend :)

We had late night munchies recently so my partner suggested we grab a kebab from here. I can say we weren’t disappointed, the food arrived piping hot and in really good time. The quality was as you expected. It tasted good and we will be ordering again from them the next time we get late night munchies!

Don't go by the name "Gosport Best Kebabs" ... They certainly are not .. Twice now had it delivered and both time it arrived cold and the driver said he carried no change ?? I wouldn't say the quality was poor but definitely not of the better quality of kebab ... Sorry but will not be using them for delivery again ...

Came back hungry from work one late night and thought why not try the Kebab shop across the road? Best decision I made about fast food, I normally don't eat out.

Ordered a family takeaway from here. After an hour wait our food was delivered. Only to our horror three items missing and the rest of the order was completely cold. Will not be ordering from this place ever again

Food was great.. Portions are on the large side. The chips were soggy by the time I got home due to the plastic box. While I was waiting the guy serving gave my autistic son a free bottle of cherryade as he was enjoying looking at the light shine through it. Amazing service just wish other shops showed the same compassion to autistic children.

This place lives up to its name. Ordered late Friday night, quick delivery. Food fresh & hot. Will be using here from now on. :)

Very quick delivery and my food was delicious. I always use this kebab shop, definitely the Best in Gosport

it was a very late Saturday night the wife and the kids were asleep,was watching a movie,was hungry,the only options available were kebab shops so I gave this a go.the chicken was very bland,no spice,no flavour,was hungry so ate it.the chips and salad were okay

My meal was delicious especially the Doner, extremely yummy. Delivery was very quick and the delivery man was very ploite. I will definitely be ordering from Gosport Best again, certainly lives up to it's name :-)

This kebab shop serves some of the best Kebabs around and has the sense to open to the early hours of the morning most days of the week, to cater for people coming out of the pubs late. Good mixed Shish kebabs and staff always willing to have a laugh and joke with you.

my husband and I treat our selfs to a take away once a week and when we found this gem of place we don't order from anywhere else. great value and love the fact that you can see where your food is been cooked and it is absolutely spotless. They also make the BEST chilli sauce . I always recommend to others as for the last year we haven't had a bad one yet :)

Bloke serving was either stoned or had not slept for a week. I asked him to show me a large chicken shish (two skewers) whilst I downed a pint nearby (first and only one of the night unfortunately!). When I collected the food and returned home he had done me with a small chicken shish and pitta, when I phoned up to question this the lady was in pre rehearse mode demanding how many chunks of chicken I had and that they only had small pitta bread left (really). Didnt even put the food in the bread what a waste of time, was still ravanous after consuming their so called large kebab and paid nearly 7 quid for the privilege of being mugged off and then spoken to like an idiot by some broad. Not a chance I woukd recommend, Gosports best my ar5e will rip you off just for a couple of quid, pathetic.

Ordered a couple of kebabs from here. They arrived well after the time they said. Then checked and got wrong order. Phoned up to explain and they said I could bring them back. I did explain it was a delivery but they didn't care. I won't use again as late and wrong order.

Maybe it was because we ordered it really early but it was not as tasty as previos kebabs, will not order agaon for a while.

This place is brilliant, i used to us it as my local when i lived round the corner or even if i visited friends or family and the food is always good quality. When you go in and order they are always quick and efficient but they still manage to have a conversation with you whilst they are preparing it, if you are not sure what you want when you go in they will give you time to think about it and even offer helpful suggestions if you ask. I would recommend this place over many of the others in gosport.
