Vibrant atmosphere. Super friendly staff. Amazing food.

Tried the falafel salad. Didnt like it at all. The falafel seemed like its old. And tasted bland. The hummus was bad too. Seems like old food is being served. Pricy as well. Edit: Got stomach bug from the food here. Please stay away from this place.

He comido felafel en Israel, Líbano, Egipto, el Reino Hasemita de Jordania y Siria y en cada lugar se podía pedir felafel en pan de pita (de hecho esa era la norma). No hace mucho, también se podía pedir a Fil Fil también, pero ya no parece. El propietario dijo que 'pita no era tan popular' me pareció difícil de creer, pero si era por qué no mantener algunos panes de pita en el congelador y ofrecerlos como una opción. No voy a volver como felafel en una envoltura simplemente no es lo mismo

Used to love coming here for some falafel and pitta bread, and recently (after trying multiple times) just found out they are not doing the pitta bread anymore (but decided to still keep in the menu), tried their alternative which was the wrap and just feel like it is not the same at all. Having said that, the falafel is still amazing and if you like wraps it's definitely worth it, for me it really worked well with a pitta bread and it was a personal choice for me so now that they don't do it anymore I think I won't be going back, but still would say the food is nice and if you enjoy the options they currently have it is very much worth it.

The place was dirty, food smelt and tasted of rancid oil, and the price was extortionate Do your stomach a favour and give it a miss

We used to come here all the time as the food was great and the staff were friendly. It has changed owners twice since then. Now they no longer have pitta as an option (despite it being on the menu), the falafel doesn't taste nice anymore, they always ignore requests to not include things in the wrap, the side portions are much smaller, and everything is now so expensive. Today we asked for 2 wraps, both without pickles and onions, and as usual, both came with both of these. We just left the food there and this will be our last visit. They also don't do smoothies anymore. We keep making the expensive mistake of coming here, and being disappointed every time, at great expense. Avoid at all costs.

Stop there regularly for a wrap. New owners and still tasty but unfortunately don't take the loyalty card anymore.

Great place for lunch, especially if it is sunny and you sit outside. The doner was probably one of the tastiest vegetarian dishes I have had.

I can't get enough of Filfil. I went there last year on my first visit to Brighton and immediately fell in love, and had to eat there again before we left. Of course I went back my next time in Brighton! I had the "döner" chip box every time I went and it was delicious every time. So flavorful!

I love this place, went on a whim when i tried a sample of the falafel, ordered a falafel pita & they were so sweet & accommodating, would definitely go again not just because the falafel was amazing but also the service was top tier! I told them that I was going back to london and they even set the salad aside just so the bread wouldn’t get soggy on my way back! Honestly couldnt recommend this place enough!

Best meal of our trip to Brighton! We had the Mezze platter for two. It came with a beet salad, a sweet potato salad, stuffed grape leaves, fried halumi, tzatziki, falafel, hummus, and pita. The falafel were the best I have ever had. They were done in a Palestinian style and were green in color from the herbs that were mixed in to the chick pea base. The rest was just as good. It’s a pity we found this place on our last day here. I would have made it a daily stop.

Without a doubt, the best falafel in the whole of Brighton. I have been here a few times and every time I leave, I'm stuffed. The size of the portions are big.

Delicious food and really friendly people!

It was a most delicious treat, we had a selection of mezze type dishes and enjoyed every single one. The falafels were moist and full of herbs and flavour, humous tasted nutty and wholesome , aubergine dish and salad was excellent, we had warm stuffed vine leaves which were fragrant and melted in the mouth. And we had a very warm welcome and service. We will d definitely come back!

Friendly service and delicious food. The food was excellent and surpassed my expectations. It was of a quality that you would get in a good London-based Middle Eastern restaurant, served here at cafe prices making it excellent value. The falafel, hummus, aubergine and vine leaves were all outstanding.

This was the best falafel i've had in a very long time. Someone recommended it to me as a good lunch spot and it did not disappoint in the slightest. Excellent food, lovely atmosphere, and run by a friendly bunch of people. I'll be back!

The food all looks pretty but sadly its pretentious and tasted bland , I have no idea how they have got so many 5 stars , we would no go back , It also has very uncomfortable stools that need a good clean .

Filfil is my favourite food in the whole world <3 If you are looking for a meal in Brighton make it Filfil it’s the best. The staff are always lovely and so generous. My mum came in at the end of the day today and bought me dinner and it absolutely made my day - thank you as always Filfil

Well this was a find! Cancel anywhere else you’ve booked - like we did - and eat here. You won’t regret it. Great tasting home made style food at a ridiculously good price. You can pay stupid amounts more for utter rubbish - this is the real deal

Second visit here. We had the basic falafel platter. Wow! Fantastic, best falafel in Brighton and very good value as a large meal. The staff are friendly and helpful. The toilets are spotless which is unusual in a cafe. Well done, we will be back.

Great lunch. Had the falafel salad box with extra halloumi and avocado. £10.50. Nice, tasty, plenty… more than I’d usually spend on a lunch but it was gluten free and tasty, with hot falafel made to order. Niceness.

Lovely cafe. Best falafels. Vegan doner is really good too. Vegetarian and vegan. The cafe keeps the same good quality since the day they opened and prices are quite reasonable.

I went with a friend and had the Chef's Special which was excellent: really tasty and good value. There's a nice selection of soft drinks. It wasn't very busy (can't think why!), so it was possible to have a quiet conversation which suited us. Overall an excellent experience, I would definitely go again!

Amazing! Every element of the platter was honed to perfection. Delicious falafel, hummus super tasty, lovely pickles, fried cauliflower was perfect. Warm, friendly service. Absolute gem of a place!

Eaten here many times Good gluten free, veggie and vegan options. Generous portions. They offer student discount which is handy Lovely freshly squeezed orange juice. Limited seating space which isn't a problem as I usually get take away. Nice that the forks are wooden rather than plastic

Delicious food and large portions. There are loads of places to go and get lunch round here but we were delighted to have chosen this place. The portions are huge and we could have easily shared a plate between two of us. For some reason none of us chose one of the many falafel dishes - something to try next time? Delightful friendly staff - next time we're in Brighton this will be on our list to re-visit

Really nice. Second time here. I had the traditional wrap (£6), my daughter had the pita (£6.50) Really great flavours, subtle, fragrant and fresh. Very reasonable for the quality and location. Fast and pleasant service. Will definitely be back soon.

As much as I wanted to like this place, turns out I’m not a huge fan of a falafel! The staff were really nice, which was lovely, but sadly that evening I had a really upset stomach and I can’t put it down to anything else other than the falafel! Still feeling the tummy bug after a few days so I don’t think I’ll be coming here again :( hopefully just a one off!

Crisp, moist, delicately flavoured and tender falafel. Lightly creamy tahine that coats the tongue without smothering your mouth in fat or acrid betterness. Smoothly textured houmous aromatic with garlic and lemon without scorching sulphur heat. And need I mention the chili sauce? Fruity, smoky, warming, silken. A must.

My friend and I stopped in here for a quick bite; we loved their falafel! The tahini is light, the hummus is tasty, and the falafel itself is crispy and tastes delicious!

Absolutely delicious falafel wrap

Catered for a hen do with platters that were brought to our rented house. Could not have asked for more. Food was delicious. Price was amazing. Exactly what we needed for an alternative to dining out or cooking ourselves. Food is incredible would 100% recommend to all.

Tasty falafel but put in a huge amount of garlic. No garlic listed on the menu for a falafel. So much garlic was put in i am like a chemical reaction going off. A stink bomb. Drop out the garlic please Filfil.
