I thought the food and service was ok, nothing special. I’d rate whole experience average.

The food was lovely and the atmosphere was chilled, however the service was not which is really really disappointing not angry just disappointed. We had a young waiter who was rather slow with listening and making sure our orders were correct we had to wait for our friends starter as they forgot to add this so we didn’t all eat together and we had to ask for menus and to order as we were sitting for 15-20 mins with no attention. Overall lovely food but the service has let this establishment down and I wont be returning because of this …. Miller and Carter is quicker

Lovely atmosphere, quality food, amazing, caring, and quick service, delicious. Can't complain! Little details around your served food as a small pot of pickles or crispy skinny fries make this experience worthy! I have no pictures, so I loved it all to the last bit! Enjoy the moment.

Have had the pleasure of dining here regularly (5-6 times a year for a couple of years now ) The manager Alexia runs a very focused team . Every meal is a treat & every visit is as good as your first . The Iberico pork is endlessly flavoursome . The grilled chicken is succulent and the skin crisp . The filet steak is rich and Grilled to perfection . The Calamari is light and the batter is superb . Provolone is full of flavour with some light caramelising and an endless starter with the toasted bread. Customer service is great & the staff are keen to develop a rapport if allowed. You will be greeted and served by professionals and offered a high level of service , the food will be of a superior quality and the staff are not focused on obtaining a gratuity unlike some places we have frequented . I went there for late lunch, we had the brunch menu, my lomito steak sandwich was really good and my partner had the Chicken milanesa very good too. We will be back

On 25th November I made a reservation for 2 at 17:15. within 2 hours of leaving the restaurant after eating the meal, I had severe food poisoning with violent vomiting and diarrhoea. Ate calamari appetizer and seabass main. I have copy of the receipt. If anyone frail had this severe food poisoning they would not have survived. I am beyond shocked. The staff need to seriously review their hygiene measures and food safety.

This restaurant has always been one of my favourites but lately, the food quality has decreased a lot. What I did not find fair at all was that the kid's menu had a steak that tasted like rotten meat. I wonder the source of this meat or if it was in fact, rotten. Staff were unable to say what it was and tried to convince us it was rump. No, it was not rump. It was suspiciously soft and looked like the worst quality meat you can find, ones that might be formed previously in a lab because the colour, smell and taste was different and dark brown. We also like rare not well-done steak and we said this while we ordered. I am extremely disappointed as I also received burned fried plantains, I wonder why the chef let this plate get out of the kitchen… I trusted this place for my children to eat quality meat and we almost gave the baby the rotten/pre-formed meat from the kid's menu. It smelled fine but taste was so bad I felt sick! We all tried it and tasted like hell. I am glad I tried it before giving it to him. Also, the empanadas that were always excellent, lacked a lot of flavour, barely any meat in there. We prefer to pay more and eat quality food. While we understand the pressures restaurants might face, the overall dining experience felt lacking compared to previous visits. I value the well-being of my family, and it’s important for us to trust the quality of the food we’re served, especially for our children. We’ve always had wonderful experiences here in the past, and I hope these issues can be addressed. It’s crucial for us to feel we are getting good value for their money, and more importantly, safe and quality food. We are hesitant about returning, but I sincerely hope improvements can be made for the sake of other diners!

One of our favourite restaurants in Hove! The food is delicious, the atmosphere is great (always packed so be sure to book early!), and the service is phenomenal. My partner and I ate here 5 months ago and the waiter remembered us, what we ordered, and that we didn't drink alcohol. Thank you for such a positive experiences, each time we eat here.

Nice food very attentive service

The overall quality of the meat, encompassing its inherent texture, preparation, and presentation, was not up to par. Considering the price point, one can find superior fillet, ribeye, or sirloin options in the city. However, I must commend the service; the staff were attentive, cheerful, and considerate. I am hesitant to revisit.

Fabulous steaks and wines on the upper end of pricing. Have returned many times as dependable. The upstairs is a no no as really lacks atmosphere.

100% recomendado. Pedimos empanadas, chorizo, entraña y milanesa napolitana. La calidad de la carne es increíble y el personal atento en todo momento. Nos trajeron una entrada de chipas con una salsa de roquefort que estaba increíble. Sin dudas vamos a volver.

We had a great meal Saturday evening, service was great and meal tasty. Bread and squid to start followed by the meat experience the rump being the stand out meat out the 4. Rib eye was a tad disappointing we washed it down with a cracking expensive red called Vultur. Would happily return

This is a good steak restaurant. I had a nice time, the room is lovely, the staff were nice. The steaks were good as were the sides. BUT. I was expecting to be blown away because of the reviews and the fact that proper Argentinian steak places tend to be great. So I think my lack of “blown away ness” could well be due to my state coming in. But it was good not amazing. I would definitely go back and have another shot.

Exquisite meat and very friendly staff.

Four of us ate here in dec we were given a two hour slot the table near the window was a bit cramped but the interior is really pleasant .we had the empanadas for starters that we all enjoyed then the steaks 3 medium 1 medium rare all but the medium rare we’re lovely afraid the rare being tough the sides were nice except the side salad could have been better all in a nice place shame about that one steak. Would go back.

Hemos ordenado empanadas dose veces y las dos veces incomibles. La primera vez ordenamos spice beef, y estaban sumamente picantes inclusive para un mexicano que esta acostumbrado a comer picante. Decidimos darle una segunda oportunidad y esta vez ordenamos beef sin picantes y de nuevo estuvieron asquerosas e incomibles. Sumamente grasosas y saladas, las tuvimos que tirar de lo mal que estaban. Por el precio que tienen esperabamos mas. Si tienen antojo de empanadas eviten este lugar, existen otras opciones mucho mejores en la ciudad

My food was nice, but the service was a bit odd. We called to book weeks ahead but arrived and our table wasn't reserved. My friends ordered the meat experience and they only really enjoyed half of it. Wouldn't really say the experience as a whole is worth the price tag

I had a top time when I visited Latinoamerica restaurant in Hove. They had delicious beef, cooked to perfection, service was excellent served in style.If you have not been there, this should be next in your list , I have no doubt you will be satisfied because of the high quality of their products, and the professionalism of their restaurant room staff. I really recommend it! You should try “steak platter”with different types of beef, it was delicious!!!!

“Ding-dong” goes the service bell. “Bleep-bleep” goes the land line. “Clatter-clatter” go all the hard surfaces. Some fellow diners were using sign language…our group considered the pros and cons. OK, a bad aural experience. The food? Meh. Although half of my steak was as ordered (the other half over done), I’ve had better steaks at Cote and at home not to mention all the better steakhouses, ermm everywhere. £100 would have bought us three fantastic steaks from a local butcher plus a decent bottle of red and all the trimmings. Do better, or go home.

Heard loads about this place. Felt so rushed not relaxing at all. Food was nice.

Terrible experience. Booked a table for the back. We went there and was told that table was not available, although we were told on the phone this was fine. Rude staff. Have gone quite a few times where steak has been hit and miss. We eat at a lot of steak restaurants, this has to be the worst experience, sometimes awful steak and not professional staff. Will not be recommending or going back. Avoid. There are much better steak houses in Brighton and Hove worth the price tag.

Don’t bother to come here if you have any special dietary requirements: the staff aren’t interested and the kitchen will ignore you.

Ambience... Relaxed Service... Friendly, attentive Without rushing or being in your face. Food... To die for. Been a few times now and nothing ever seems to be to much trouble. Staff go above and beyond.

Lovely restaurant for dinner. I've been visiting with my family since it opened. I gave Argentinian family roots so I seem to be drawn to the place. The ultimate meat platter is the Argentinian experience, if you like steak then you simply have to try it - at least once in your life! - and order your favourite sides and sauces. Highly recommended.

Really tasty food and a nice atmosphere. The starters were delicious, The steaks were cooked perfectly, nice and juicy, and the sides I couldn't get enough of. The creamy mushroom and spinach won me over. I finished off everyone else's sides because they were just so good. Very full by the end of it. Very nice, wide selection of wines, with the option to taste before, and other alcoholic drinks. The waitresses were very lovely and and very experienced. It is more than I would typically spend when going for a meal, but it is definitely worth it for the service and food quality, I recommend to everyone, I'll definitely be going back.

Five of us visited the restaurant on arrival asked For drinks i asked a bottle of house red he said He had two house reds one was Melbec we had Three bottle had a good evening and we split the bill . My friend today that we paid 32 pounds For house wine . Earlier that evening in an other restaurant I paid 22 pounds that was fair Very disappointed with the conclusion of the evening

The place we go locally when we are craving for a Authentic Steak with that humble and yet delicious flavours of the South America , and as good Brazilian as I am, we love a good "chuarrasco " , whch is how we call our Picanha.or Rump Steak . Dont forget to try Latinoamerico's empanadas for an excellent starter or when you are feeling not in mood for a full meal and just an nible while you catch with a friends or beloved over an excellent taste of the South America (🇦🇷🇧🇷) while holding hands and wash it down with a good selection of premium wine list , all served bealtifully by a very knowlogble team and friendly staff that makes worth a visit as you may , like us , regarded as our second home . I have wanted to visit this place for years, and this weekend I got round to it...I shan't bother again! I think it overpriced, and the staff abrupt. The food was good, but not exactly exciting although, the cheese board was very good. As I say, I won't visit again; if I had one, it would be a 'bucket list tick' and move on.

This restaurant was a let down from start to finish. We were in a group of 8 - a surprise birthday dinner for my husband. I choose this restaurant because it had ceviche on the menu. Unfortunately it was the worst cerviche we have ever had. Four people ordered it and everyone left it. The fish was super fishy and stringy. I had two mouthfuls and had to spit it out in a napkin. The waiter didn’t question why everyone had left it. The starter took over an hour to come out. Next the steaks came and they were ok but very standard for a restaurant that specialises in steak. When the bill arrived we paid without complaint as we were a big group and didn’t want a fuss on my husbands birthday. Four of us stayed back to finish our wine and then the waiter came over and said “we had paid the wrong bill”. When I pointed out that we had paid the bill he had given us and half the group had now left. He said that we owed an extra £290 and that we must have known it was the wrong bill as it said table of four at the top of the receipt. We were all completely gobsmacked that he was blaming us for his error. When the owner came over, he was equally as aggressive and asked why it was an issue that half the group had left already. Just call them and ask them for the money tomorrow he suggested. I would definitely not recommend, at best below standard food and rude, incompetent staff.

Incredibly high quality meat. A really good evening. It turns out that Latinoamerica and the Cafe Malbec tapas bar next door are run by the same people and share the same kitchen, so you can have tapas or mega-steaks in either!

Great food, attentive service, fab bottled beer!

The ambient is romantic and the beef cuts are good. Do not get the grilled vegetables because they are just boiled and it is misleading from the menu.

While the menu offers a small list of vegetarian and fish options, this restaurant is very much a meat place. The tables in the restaurant are nicely spaced out, so there’s a reasonable chance you can have a ‘quiet dinner’. They serve an Argentine beer on tab but also have some amazing wines. Most of us ordered the special sharing menu, with chicken, pork, sausage and two pieces of beef. The beef was cooked as requested, was juicy and tasted nice . We found both the pork and the chicken a bit dry. The sausage was thin, nice, but tasted quite salty. We were disappointed with the grilled veggies but excited about the mushrooms with spinach. Nice table service, but guys…keep an eye on the toilets upstairs. Both ladies and gents toilet were dirty and smelly. I found this a high price for the value we received

Absolutely love this restaurant! Hands down the best steak I've eaten in over a decade! My partner is a chef for the last 20 years and he said it is the best steak he has ever eaten! He ate the 340g ribeye Medium rare (cooked with skill as the fat had rendered down no gristle or sinew) I had the rump 340g medium rare, cooked to perfection, I'm very fussy with steak and usually with other places there is sinew /gristle so I get put off quickly, not a single bite was like that as the quality of the steak is phenomenal. I completely cleared my plate. The chef clearly knows how to cook steak and omg was it incredible. My partner and I came from 30 miles away just to eat here last night and it was definitely worth it! The steak is to die for. I was smiling the whole time I was eating it. The chimichuri picante was heavenly with the steak. We also tried the crepes with dulce de luche sauce. That was so tasty. I highly recommend this restaurant for a treat or if you just want a good quality and tasty steak without the prices of London . The prices are very reasonable given the quality. Jose gave incredible service and was very attentive so thank you!. The food spoke for itself. We will definitely be back with family/friends next time in the near future.

I cannot stress enough how WONDERFUL the team were that served us, and the food was really really great. This is my first time leaving a review on a restaurant and its frankly embarassing to do so but with the quality of food served at the extortionate prices I hope this review might prevent others from coming and wasting their money. The cerviche was £9.50 as a starter, it was a tiny portion of 5 small slices of sea bass covered in lime juice. The patacones (£7) were decent but served with squeezy guacamole from the store. The salmon (£18) was underwhelming to say the least, the flavour wasn't there and made me question if I had covid. The sauce was just tomato paste from a tube, the veggies tasted like boiled frozen carrots, green beans, and cauliflower - the broccoli was actually nice. The sirloin steak (£20) was asked to be done medium rare and came out as bloody as a new born lamb. The chimmichurri was the best part of the steak and even then there was no flavour for £2. For £70, not including tip because at least the service was nice, I feel cheated for food that was substandard even for a drive thru - should've gone McDonald's.

We have been a few times before and it never lets down. Amazing food and excellent service, this place worth every penny.
