Nice bar. Didn’t have a chance to try the food but the beers were excellent. Quiet atmosphere for a Monday afternoon/evening. Would highly recommend if you are after a quiet place for a drink or two.
I was told to wait and they would find me when a table became available, they never did. After approaching them again I got a table. The food was extremely basic for the price. I will not go back
A wonderful lunch with perfect service always guaranteed, and if Jane is looking after you then so much the better - she's the perfect host, making sure we had everything we needed. We've been loads of times and its always consistently great.

The best Italian restaurant in Chester! First time I came here, I had the Margarita pizza, it was cooked to perfection. Today, I had the lasagne, it was without a doubt, the best lasagne I have ever tasted! If you’re in Chester and want to taste genuine Italian food, go to Sergio’s, 11/10 would recommend to anyone❤️
Paid £100 for over battered greasy onion rings, bland flavourless tagliatelle pasta and greasy unflavoured steak. Got charged for the ketchup too. Restaurant in general is visually appealing and the decor is beautiful. And the location is also beautiful by a lake with shire horses grazing. But the food is awful, wish I'd have saved my money and gone to maccies.
We went here as we had Tesco vouchers which I think a lot of people had and this may explain the prices for the food you get. You had to pick off the a la carte menu, I had Beef Bourguignon for £18.35 which contained two pieces of beef and a large amount of beefy mushrooms on a bed of mash. It looked very meaty but only two pieces. The King Prawn starter was nice at nearly ten pounds. There was quite a wait to be served as there seemed to be a changeover from the breakfast to the lunch sitting and someone from the kitchen staff ended up running out with the starters.
If I did not have the Tesco vouchers I would not have been very happy at the prices charged, but the restraunt is still getting those full prices for the vouchers used I presume. The thing is you would never visit again based on the price for the mushroom Bourguignon and also the Cesar salad which was about £14 and you had to pay extra for chicken.
My compliments to this wonderful cafe. Everything is great: food, tea, coffee, service and atmosphere. I recommend it, you will have a lot of fun. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Following positive reviews, we dined at Mowgli, but found the experience underwhelming. The food quality did not justify the high prices; portions were small, necessitating three dishes per person, and the overall taste was merely adequate, falling short of expectations. The value proposition was poor, particularly considering the cost of beverages. A 330ml beer priced at £5.50 is excessive. While the ambiance and window seating were pleasant, we concluded that the culinary experience was mediocre and would not return.
Ale was nice and the food was good. The Brazilian curry taster plate was spicy and the potatoes were nice and crispy. Chilli con carne was a little sweet for my taste.
