What you see you get. Simple no frills cafe serving simple basic food - breakfast. Pleasent staff and excellent value. no cards taken. Clean and tidy.

Tried the pulled pork and chicken wings and they were delicious. Nice location too!

Worst teppan yaki dinner in my life. Having been to over 15 teppan yaki restaurants worldwide (including Japan), I must say that this is the worst experience by a mile. The overall quality of the food is below average, frozen fish fillets drenched in salty soy sauce. Low quality steak cuts grilled in butter alone. Even the duck fillet was below par. Even worse was the fried rice. Something that is near impossible to mess up on a teppan yaki plate: The rice hand only one flavor: Butter. The chef clearly added way too much. But the absolute cherry on the pie? The whole meal started with the chef throwing 2 kilo's of sliced potatoes on the teppen yaki plate. Potatoes? There is only one reason to serve that: To fill your guests up with the cheapest possible ingredient. There is nothing Japanese about sliced potatoes. They were also undercooked to add to the overall failure. The owner of the restaurant defended that fast with "other restaurants do it as well".

Delicious salmon shashlik, decent sides. Really enjoyed our meal. Staff are hit and miss. The younger ones are really friendly, some of the older ones we find miserable 🤣🫣

The food hall was a lovely experience with great food everywhere. If you are in Chester this is a must see place

Lovely Food, Great Service. I visit this place at least once a week on my zoo visit, spend it with good friends and the food certainly fuels me for the remainder of the day round the zoo

Excellent range of beers - something for everyone. Great location mid-way between the railway station and the bus station. Nice outside seating area too
