Stopped in to Chester Market while visiting family in the area. Loads of food choices but went for a naan qrap with chicken tikka and onion bhaji. Amazing food, cooked very quickly. Would definitely recommend.

Guroma caught my eye as I was wandering around the market. For lunch, I got a cheesy naan (with chicken tikka inside) as well as some veg samosa- luscious! Although it was a Saturday, I wasn’t waiting for much longer than 10 minutes.

Drove miles to collect two Toogoodtogo parcels. Paid £3.50 to park and arrived early. The proprietor was slightly apologetic that he had cancelled the order although this wasn't showing up on the app. Disappointing beyond belief and it was my fault, apparently. Poor customer service and attitude.

Heavenly Indian food! Rly recommend would definitely go back! I had the combo wrap, so tasty. Based in Chester market so not everyone has to eat here if you don’t fancy it

First of all. The food at Guroma is great. The masala fries and the onion bhaji wrap is really good. I can’t fault the food and it’s one of my favourites in Chester market. However, the service that is offered is sub par. Previously we have been turned away because they closed early (19:20 ish when they close at 8pm) last year and numerous times on TooGoodToGo, they have cancelled the order at the last minute. I accept there are times when you can’t predict how much food is going to be left, but of the 4 times I have ordered from them on that app, it has been cancelled less than 30 minutes before collection.

Decided to try this place as I am a great fan of curries, and was very glad I did. It was cooked on the bone, but not too much bone like some places do. Plenty of meat and the slow cooking on the bone greatly enhance the flavour and texture of the dish. Before I retired I had eaten goat and lamb curries in many parts of the world, from Brick Lane to Riyadh, and this was certainly one of the most memorable. Will be back soon to try the family recipe biryani they have on at the weekend. Excellent meal.

Really delicious chicken curry, nicely spiced with great depth of flavour. Arrived quickly, with friendly service. Their food would not be out of place in a top notch Asian restaurant, lovely to come across it in the relaxed atmosphere of the market. Great value too. Portions were enough but not huge, we probably would have had room to try some samosas as well. Next time…

We honestly order from here at least once a month. We love Thai food but their pad Thai we are still yet to find one that beats rainbirds. Woman who runs the place is just so lovely. 10/10 recommend

The Taj Mahal in Frodsham is genuinely amazing! Kash and his team always provide excellent service, and the food is consistently brilliant. The korma is, without a doubt, the best for miles – rich, full of flavour, and perfectly cooked every time. If you’re after a top-notch Indian takeaway, the Taj Mahal is the place to go.
