Costa Coffee in Cheshire West and Chester

Visited this morning.Excellent service- friendly, professional staff. Cleaned the table straight away. Fabulous atmosphere and would definitely return.

Had just opened for breakfast so the atmosphere was none existent 😂 staff were welcoming and friendly, food was hot and tasty, coffee freshly brewed!!!

Lovely little coffee shop. Gorgeous cakes an sandwiches. Actually picked a too good to go bag.. got alot.. an was all very fresh. Polite an friendly staff.. even the gut was whistling an sounded like an actual bird.. didn't have to wait long. Seating inside and out. Wheelchair access.. got na cold food an drinks are served. Limited parking for 30 minutes on the street.

Offering Costas standard products and an excellent range of dairy alternatives for hot drinks such as soya, oat and coconut. Cooking is done using a Menu driven oven so quality is variable. The staff are friendly and give exceptional service especially to those in need. Best avoid busy times for a seat and relaxing time.

Sadly today the local costa has missed the ball most tables covered with used crockery and terribly slow service, (to the fact my bacon bap was cold before I got my coffee) not sure if it was because the girl on the machine was new but she was just not quick (making one drink at a time) and the lad on the till whilst stood there could have helped her? and maybe when not taking an order quickly cleared some tables, instead just stood behind the counter. Defo not upto it’s normal spotless and brilliant service. Hopefully just a one off

just wanted to leave a review, praising 2 staff members on their faboulous customer service. not only were they lovely to me when i spilt my coffee, but also made me a new one free of charge.. what brilliant service.

This is a great costa. Always clean, staff great, friendly vibe with regulars. Lots of outside seating for warmer days. Wheelchair/pushchair access

ALL Three staff seem to be employed producing online orders whilst happily ignoring customers who actually walk in the door.

A lot of space and areas. It’s an ok one to stop in. There is usually no parking around the area, but a parking lot nearby.

Fantastic coffee shop situated in the heart of Hoole, great little Hangout spot for catch ups with friends and family. Perfect walking distance for Chester Creative Campus (Kingsway) university students. Staff are so welcoming and friendly. Highly recommend! 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻

The coffee as fab. However I had a ‘little Seizure’ in the Hoole restaurant s couple of weeks ago and I’ve only just been able to make this review. I just can’t say how grateful I was for the lady/ manager she was outstanding, cordoning of the area with baby highchairs, putting her own jacket under my head. I don’t remember any of this. What I do remember is her talking to me in a very calm manner asking me questions to keep me alert but most of all just being so very kind.I think her name was Sarah or something similar but I would like her to be acknowledged. What an outstanding employee. So many thanks.

We visited Chester and walked to Hoole. Very nice area. staff here friendly. Our coffee good... as usual in Costa. Didn't eat on this occasion. Only thing I thought was it's a shame a nice building has been altered downstairs ( talking about the outside). Spoilt look of building.

I use Costa wherever I go. (Unless I have my dog - come on Costa, let dogs in!!) This is one of the best ever. Beautiful coffee, taste and looks. Two young lads, dead chatty but not over the top and really efficient. Great atmosphere

Very nice little coffee shop with nice and helpful staff. Good range of foods and drinks. Also a disabled ramp for easy access for anyone with a pram or wheel chair. Also plenty of places to chain up your bike.

Food good but very slow to clear tables. Makes the place very unattractive.

Wanted a treat after passing my driving test so went to this Costa where 3 members of staff were chatting by the entrance as I entered. Asked them if they were open and they told me they are just about to close so that they can have their break. They refused to serve me. I think if you have 3 members of staff they should rotate their breaks - or state that you are closed for lunch as a minimum. I think this is not acceptable it would have taken them 2 minutes to do my coffee. It was the second Costa I went that day in Chester and did not have lunch getting anything so I stopped bothering will just go elsewhere. Very disappointed.

Excellent store, my daughter and I love coming here. Coffee is always perfect and staff are always friendly and welcoming, store is clean and tidy with plenty of seating, toilets always clean.

Normally, I’d prefer to use an independent coffee shop. However, the staff at this Costa are amazing! I can’t rate then highly enough.

Come here every Tuesday when in Hoole, nice staff,clean place and obviously lovely drinks, the tiffin is a favourite of mine too,usually pretty easy to get a seat inside but there are a few outside too weather permitting.

Good Costa branch, helped me out when I had my dog with me and the app wasn't working, pickup shelf is just by the door. Came out to serve me, can't promise that service to everyone though.

Nice and cheerful girl on counter. Service was quick and precise. Inside shop was cleaned for covid. Outside tables were not. And nothing inside so to clean them with. More people are outside in the Sun. Than inside the shop. So outside area should of been high priority.

charge extra for marshmallows which is only about 2, asked for a drink-in and they give me two take away cups also don’t order to table. shocking

Lovely friendly and helpful staff. Tried and enjoyed the Christmas Irish Latte, was also offered the Christmas Roast which was very well balanced with chocolate notes. Had a great explanation about the new roast from the member of staff working the till. Lots of great cafes and coffee shops in Hoole but if you fancy a change then Costa is a great alternative.

The staff are friendly and helpful. As it is a chain cafe it’s hard to say more.

I only wanted takeaway anyway but at the time they weren't allowing sit inside to a problem with the air conditioning. Friendly staff & a typical Costa.

Lovely new costa, well staffed and kept clean, service is 10/10 and situated in a scenic area just outside of town. I ordered a white hot chocolate and it was devine, also the building used to be a bank vault so the layout is rather interesting if you enjoy architecture.
