I don't eat curry's that often but I've had food here 4 times and have to say it's outstanding. I've never had a bed meal or even a substandard one. This is my first choice curry house now.

Always great food....fast service and polite staff. Never had a single issue with food or the order. Always on time of before. Great knowledge of food and ingredients, willing to share good info with you to try different things than the norm. Premises is always clean and tidy, well.looked after. Highly recommend 👌

Very smart appearance, very friendly, helpful,and efficient staff. Food was amazing. We all felt very comfortable. Had a great catch-up, with amazing service and food. Our waiter was able to advise us well on what was available, and we never felt rushed at all on what to choose, thankyou so very much. Would definitely recommend, and we’re are all hoping to return again soon.

Had lots of meals from here and really enjoyed them,but the last couple of times I've tried ordering on the app ( before closing time) they accept the order take the money then message 15 minutes later to cancel the order. Had a lovely Indian meal at UNDAAL INDIAN RESTAURANT in Overpool, Ellesmere Port. Been here a few times since they opened less than a year ago and we are always so so impressed, the place is very clean and modern, the staff super friendly and very helpful. Food was well presented and very tasty…little bonus is you can take your own alcohol as they only serve soft drinks…they supplied us with glasses….will definitely return to try more of the very tasty dishes that they serve…… We had poppadoms and mixed tray, followed by Chicken Tikka Garlic Chicken and Chicken Tikka Jalfrazi with garlic and coriander Nan…… Food was amazing full of flavour and both to the right heat strength that we requested….. They take cash or card……also their is a Co-Op store next door to get your alcohol drinks….👍

The meal and service was pleasant, however I ended up with vomiting and diarrhea in the early hours so won't be going back

Food was delivered later than we were told, onion bhaji was taste less and lamb in lamb jalfrezi was just very chewy, Disappointing.

Delivery time advised as 45 minutes it took 1 hour 50 minutes and the food was cold

Food was tasty 😋 service was also very friendly and professional. We are definitely going again and have often had a carry out.

We were the only ones in there, so the service was top notch. Prices were about average for a curry, and they were very nice. No liquor licence as far as I'm aware, so can take your own, though we had soft drinks, which are available to buy there.

Have been here so many times with friends and family, amazing restaurant, staff so friendly and helpful, food outstanding , homely atmosphere, what a jem. A +

Cibo buono, personale gentile e disponibile, prezzi forse un può troppo grandi ma non tanto. Arredamento molto semplice, purtroppo manca un tocco personale e non c'è niente che ricordi l'appartenenza indiana.

Visited undaal on Friday evening. They had a couple of large groups in but managed to fit us in without a reservation. Food was fresh and tasty. Service was very good and portions big. I can highly recommend good food and value for money.

What a great curry. The Gosht Tarkari is fantastic. Soft lamb falling off the bone in a tasty curry. My new fave curry house. Please just don’t let it slip like everyone always does eventually. Shere Khan in little Sutton were great but it all ended. Absolutely 5 star.

Our first visit since we moved back to the area ……and found this fairly new Restaurant…..we found the staff so so friendly..what a warm welcome, once sat at our table, thought what should we have….so decided to asked member of staff, who we found out later was the owner and Chef for guidance my hubby just felt like something totally different from what we usually order...he was recommended to order Staffs Curry….which was a curry on the bone , which hubby ordered and I ordered my chicken tikka Bhuna, madras hot ….WOW again WOW food was fantastic right spices and heat, in fact I tried the staff Curry and it just blew my taste buds….delicious……rice and nan lovely, forgot to mention the poppadoms and dips...yummy AND best of ALL take your OWN WINE Or DRINKS........as at moment they don’t have a licence, but they do supply glasses……..there is a Co-Op next next door but one that sells beer and wine and doesn’t close until 22.00 ……Restaurant open until 22.30 and also does delivery 👍 Show less

Absolutely outstanding! Have always used a little Sutton well know Indian but fancied a change!! Wow!!! Disappointed we haven’t tried sooner!! Amazing food of a very hide standard and will be using now as our regular Indian takeaway

I've been eating from undaal for the past couple of months, I actually rang up this evening to tell them how brilliant the food was, the lamb chops were a personal favourite, full of meat and beautiful flavour. I've ate from most Indian restaurants in the local area and none of them taste as fresh and flavoursome as this. They are a in a league of their own at the minute and I just hope they don't become complacent and let it slip like other places around here have. Cracking food made with care and it shows.

Food is absolutely amazing and the service is excellent. Staff are so attentive, nothing is too much trouble. Highly recommended

Not messing round these lot. Excellent curry, no grease or oil, big hefty naans, FRESH poppadoms and all delivered piping hot.

Wow, just Wow. The food from Undaal is second to none, absolutely delicious and probably the best I have had. We had two mixed kebab starters which were excellent. The two mains we had were the staff curry (Chicken) medium spiced and superb and a garlic butter chicken which was mild but also delicious. I cannot fault the food in any way and as I said in the review title this will now be the only place that I use for Indian food.

Lovely food, 5 of us all chose different things from a great menu, despite all having different curries they arrived at table in good time, also they were cooked and served by nice staff. x

Pretty pathetic experience today but, sadly, synchronised with my experience of these pseudo-Indian Bangladeshi restaurants in Chester and Ellesmere Port. The chicken tandoori had the smell of fish because it was probably cooked in the same grill with a fish tandoori. It also had a terrible red artificial colour added to it that I have never come across even in my rather underwhelming experience in these kinds of restaurants. The onion slices to go with it were soggy and similarly coloured. The yogurt to go with the tandoori had far too much sugar in it than it should have had. Fortunately my wife had one prepared at home that was lovely as always. We had fish fingers and chips for the children. The fish was not nice at all and the chips seemed cooked from frozen. I tried one and felt bad we were feeding such food to our 4-year old. Never again. It’s not a one-off issue. The standards are just too low.

Food and service cannot be faulted. Family run and it is now our favourite Indian restaurant. You even can bring your own drink as they are not yet licensed. We'll worth a visit.

Takeaway Got a take out on a Wednesday evening when passing through Ellesmere Port to go home to Wales. Ordered 3 meals, Lamb Biriani, Chicken Tikka massala, Chicken Dupiaza, 1 pilau rice and the biriani came with a seperate curry base sauce. Cost £22. The service was really friendly. Large portions and good quality tasty Indian food. It was a 2 1/2 hour drive home and the food was kept for the next evening so it was reheated the next day and really tasty. I just wish we had a decent place like this where we live.

Very good food with nice seating for those who want to dine-in. The Lamb shek shek and biryani were particularly good. Highly recommend.

Went here on Saturday 18th September, food was absolutely amazing! Best Indian I’ve had, will definitely be back. Staff were very friendly, even to the point that they offered to take us home because we couldn’t get a taxi (they did take us home) just that in itself I would’ve came back but everything was amazing! Tried Undaal on the recommendation of a neighbour. Could not fault it. From the welcome and throughout the evening. Lovely delicious food, everyone enjoyed their meal. Will certainly be revisiting.

After having a couple of really good take aways, I went with 3 others and had a meal in their restaurant. I have to say that everything was perfect! The quality and taste of the food was amazing and the service was absolutely impeccable. There’s a new player in town and everyone else had better up their game or get left behind!

Went Saturday at 5.30. And had the chicken shislik it was nice but only problem was not enough meat compared to other curry houses really need to be bigger portions.

We have had several meals from this restaurant eat in and take away since they opened recently. Staff are lovely and food is freshly cooked and delicious

Had a fab meal this evening at this new Indian, food was delicious, hot, well presented and good portions, could not fault it. We had one vegan who was very very happy with his vegetable biriani and they had plenty to offer for vegan diners . Service was also excellent, we will definately be going back

Starters were nice, but I ordered lamb tek tek and it was very bland no flavour and lamb was chewy. Husband had staff curry which wasn't nice either! Was really looking forward to try a new Indian however we won't be back im afraid.

Everyone to there own we found the found of good quality / tasty. Not swimming in greese like alot of Indians. Would recommend

Ordered chicken tikka Massala and chicken tikka Danska sauce wasn’t too bad but the chicken on both meals was horrible (hard) not Juicy don’t bother go somewhere else
