The food is delicious and cooked perfectly! The staff are always welcoming and make you feel like family. We go 1-2 times each month and every time we have the best experience. It’s a gem!

Had a takeaway for 6 , food was really good ( we eat here regularly and never disappointed) credit to them for now using recyclable cardboard containers for the curries & rice .Excellent 😀

Really enjoyed our food, especially the grilled meats and the dhal. The balti sauce didnt quite have the richness or depth that it should have but I'd still return. Don't serve alcohol so take your own.

I have recently been to this restaurant and have been let down. Start off with front of house staff very unwelcoming, waited 15 minutes to receive menus. Now most importantly food review, Papadoms good,pickle tray good. Lamb chop starter terrible very tough and chewy and really tasteless. King prawns stay away from. Main course curry, I have had the karahi, this is moderate so don’t understand how they have won curry awards amongst other great competitions. Also chicken tika put into the karahi that’s a no go situation for an authentic dish. Staff 1/10. Starters I had 1/10. Mains chicken karahi 2/10. Cost 6/10. So to put my review into a nut shell. Don’t advise to go here if you like real nice Authentic curry’s this is not your place overall 1/10 👎

Good range of curries here to suit all tastes. Probably one of the best curry houses in the Helsby/Frodsham area.

Went for the Sunday ' all you can eat buffet' which was OK and not bad value at, I think, £15pp. Small place and it can be very busy- leading to queues and congestion. Has no alcohol licence but you can bring your own. Only non-alcoholic drinks available.

What an absolute fantastic Christmas day! Went with family and had the option of an Indian or and English Christmas menu. Opted for the English menu and wow I can honestly say in 50 years this is the first turkey that wasn't dry it was perfect!. Will be returning again and the food and staff are excellent thank you so much 🙏🔥👍

This restaurant is simply amazing. It has a range of unusual Indian dishes and they are cooked to perfection. I had some prawns with fragrant vegetables as a starter and the biryani is the best anywhere. Try it , you will not be disappointed- AND you can bring your own beer or wine for free! I also recommend the Mango Lassi - so tasty!

The best Indian food I’ve ever eaten. The lamb bhuna was simply devine! This is now our go to place & Im already looking forward to going back.

We ordered our first meal from here for my husbands birthday after being told how good the food was here and have to say it was amazing! We ordered chicken chat, bhaji's, chicken tikka masala and chicken saag. It was the best curry we've had in a long time. It will most definately be our favourite curry house from now on! Can't wait to visit again with my workplace on Sunday for our Xmas night out!!!!

Recommend Junoon for catering! Mo was so professional, kind and flexible! Managed to help us quickly plan for a large dinner party at a relative’s home with generous portions and fair pricing! They helped set up and picked up the chafing dishes afterwards! Will definitely eat there next time I’m in town!

Enjoyed the sunday buffet. Tasted so good and proper spicy too which as a bengali often find it's always too catered to mild curry goers. The place has a great atmosphere and staff are very friendly and attentive

The menu is outstanding, such a great variety of dishes. There were five of us all together and we all thoroughly enjoyed our starters and mains, everything was delicious. The service was excellent and it was a great experience I’d highly recommend.

Unbelievable food, and i mean first rate! World class jalfrezi (made extra hot) - full of chicken, delicate yet punchy sauce, hints of corriander - just spot on, fine dining at affordable prices -set in a small village, you will not find a better jalfrezi... WOW

Wow, by far the best Indian we have experienced in some time! Absolutely delicious, portion sizes are spot on. The takeaway packaging is brilliant, nothing leaked, and all in recyclable containers. Very impressed in every aspect 👏 We will return to dine in next time.

This is by far the best Indian cuisine restaurant in the region, food is always fresh and the highest quality. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The owner is always on site to ensure the best service is provided at all times. The restaurant does not sell alcohol but you are welcome to bring your own with no corkage charge, they are happy to provide glasses and will even keep your drinks chilled for you. Highly recommended good selection for vegetarians and vegans.

Delicious food. The lamb chops are very good - very tender and juicy. Prawns were huge and tasty. All beautifully spiced and balanced. Main course prices are reasonable. The rice and bread was slightly pricy. The drinks very pricy. We really enjoyed the food so it wasn't a major issue.

Fantastic, my lamb tika sag was spot on and I had zero complaints from everyone else who ordered. Take out packaging is brilliant and everything was still hot by time I got back to Runcorn, absolutely smashes our local curry house out of the park.

Had a great visit to Junoon recently- the food is absolutely delicious and it's always a good chance to try new things as we've never had a bad meal from there. The service is also impeccable- you're looked after very well. An additional bonus on top is that you can take your own alcohol in so saves on costs of drinks! Win win!

Had a midweek teatime meal here. Service was quick and friendly. My meal: chicken dansak, pilau rice and a plain naan was just perfect in every way. I've been to a fair few curry houses over the years and this meal is right at the top! Fresh ingredients, lovely texture, tasty and hot. Everything about it was delicious. I can't wait to go back! Portion size is good : i was stuffed and couldn't finish the naan. Pricing was spot on too. A note for drivers, car parking is an issue, so be mindful of where you park as I'm told that wardens operate frequently.

The food is always fantastic as is the service. Nothing is ever too much trouble for the staff.

Both our main meals were excellent. Only let down by getting our order wrong, not having some ingredients for a dish we wanted and my starter (sea bass) was devine but for the price I thought could have been a bit bigger.

This is not your average Indian, this is far far from iceberg lettuce garnish!. Menu was plentiful, ordered and arrived promptly. Absolutely delicious meat tender, the presentation was a +10. Staff are friendly and helpful and the final bill justified the quality but didn't break the bank.

Meat was drier than the bone it came off. Incredibly slow service. Atmosphere? Zero No parking. No alcohol licence. Never again

Poperdoms were the best thing thing how difficult is that. The rest of the meal looked like it had been cooked yesterday . But we all live and learn by are mistakes never again . How can tandoori chicken not be red . That's just chicken?

Small menu but with different choices than on most Indian menus. Poppadoms came with a choice of 6 different dips which is more than usual. Loves the dark brown one but not a clue what it was. For starter Husband tried battered fish bites(can't remember name of dish) I had onion bhaji, both were very nicely presented and tasted great. We had two main meals with a boiled rice, a chips and a naan bread between us and we had more than enough. Everything was absolutally piping hot when it was given to us, and very tasty. Staff were pleasant and attentative.

Just wow, we live locally and have had take away from here many times and it is always amazing. Tonight we dined in Junoon for the Sunday buffet and we were so impressed at the service. We are both vegan and we were more than catered for with the most beautifully presented and amazingly tasty dishes. Definitely worth a visit, not only for the friendly staff but the amazing food. Really reasonably priced too, can't say enough good things about this place

The food was one of the best Indian meals I have had in a long time. I would certainly recommend the duck. I will certainly visit again to dine in with friends.

This was our first visit. We were both impressed. The food has well presented and tasty. We had poppadoms then the lamb chops and samosas for starters and a beef dish for our main. Beautiful food and good ambience to be recommended

Never been before,thought I would take my wife as nice surprise,expecting a plush restaurant,instead looks like a decent cafe,waited 40 minutes for a starter ,customers eating with there coats on most of them looking scruffy,food not very nice left most of mine wife's over cooked meat hard and warmed up,waiters could do with smarting them selfs up as well,been to better mobile cafe's,so that's the end of my rant ,be goin back next week 😂😂and I always thought Helsby was an up market place .

Great food pleasant service well worth a vist

This was my first time at Junoon. I have lived in Helsby almost 25 years and have seen this restaurant change names many times but this time it’s different. Gone are the old team, a new chef has been put in place and what a difference. The food is incredible. We came for the Sunday buffet and the quality of food was amazing. Staff were helpful and interactive but without being intrusive. There is no alcohol license, so if you want a beer, bring your own. I will definitely be coming back. Brilliant.

Had a take away from here twice now. Excellent food and very friendly service. The wife enjoyed it too, she had chicken tikka sag and I had chicken tikka jalfrezi. I also had the cheese naan bread which wasn't very cheesey, so next time will order a standard naan bread!

Sunday buffet meal - superb quality and choice of dishes, all very freshly cooked, naans cooked to order too. Service was excellent, very friendly and attention to detail. Very good value and would highly recommend.

Very friendly staff, great food... I have seen other reviews commenting on the portion sizes, and to be fair initially these do seem small, but when you realize that the dish isn't just packed out with a cup full of gravy/sauce you will find that each portion is just the right size. Very enjoyable food. I just can't keep away... I'm having to resist the cakes... For now.

Really impressed by quality and presentation of food. Lamb chops almost as good as Shere Khan in Rusholme and a sensationally tasty biryani. Recommended.

The food here, is excellent. Everything tasted different, rather than adapted from a generic sauce. The chef comes out to check you like the food, and can accommodate some allergies. The service is personable and polite. We love it.

Fantastic!!! seriously this is easily in my top 3, the meat is so soft and the currys are extremely flavoursome. Eat here very frequently now its an absolute must you have to try it 😁 ps they do deliveries too with card payment if you fancy a takeaway 👍

Top quality food. Booked our takeaway order online on the very ingenious website. We live out of the delivery zone so collected the food. Packed really nicely in pots, piping hot, fresh and easily the nicest Indian food I've ever had. Value for money too. Portions are so generous.
