The best restaurants in Cheshire West and Chester North West

We went here for a Sunday roast and would highly recconend it.

Ale was nice and the food was good. The Brazilian curry taster plate was spicy and the potatoes were nice and crispy. Chilli con carne was a little sweet for my taste.

First time visiting. Went on a Monday night as currently they have 50% off on meals on Mondays. Lovely, welcoming & attentive staff and a nice ambience. Food was good too. Hope to be back, next time we visit Chester.

Great choice of food and great service from Paulo. Would definitely recommend for a lovely evening out and a chance to try lots of different dishes.

Stayed in the hotel. This review is about their dinner menu and the room. Poor selection of food. I was forced to eat fish and chips. I am not a fan of fish and chips. I hope they increase the food selection to decent options. Not everyone eats burgers and pizzas and fish and chips. Some people need quality food to thrive. Regarding the room, it was okay but there are stains on the carpet. I did not fancy the room I was given. It had a wet room. I prefer a room with a bath or a shower tray. I was told if I wanted a room with a bath, that I should specify at the time of the booking. The receptionist that checked me in was very nice though. She is a perfect example of one who should be at the front desk.

Bottomless bunch here was excellent. Great drinks with full flavour and decent alcohol used. Good selection of cocktails too. Nice choice on the menu. Boss Benedict with hashbrowns, well made it Boss! All day breakfast, pizza, burger etc. Friendly professional staff were helpful and quick. Nice venue by the Cathedral. See you when I get to Chester again.

Went on Saturday night around 7pm and we had no problem with the lovely staff saying it was around an hour for a table , it was only about 40 minutes and they lead myself and my husband , and another couple to tables next to each other in the old part of the restaurant . It had a lovely atmosphere , and was very busy . They took the couple on the next tables order the same time as ours , and all there dishes came out rip rap , so they had various items on there table to pick at . Sadly our order came out very very slowly , the cheese, honey , walnuts etc , came to our table (no lovey on the cheese) , and then nothing else for 25 minutes . Our last top as came out 45 minuted after the first , the dishes were lovely , but it felt like a long tasting menu . We will go back again , but will avoid this time of day and try lunch perhaps .

Love Kanya and the team there. They've welcomed our group in each week and really looked after us. Good range of food and drinks. Would definitely recommend them as a place to get together.

This is my favourite Indian in Chester but despite Google saying it’s open I’ve gone to go there twice on a Sunday and Wednesday evening in the past 3 weeks and it hasn’t been open. No opening times on website either. Went to gate of India on city road instead. Would call ahead if making the trip

Beautiful pub in a nice little village ... Food excellent. Called in when passing. Glad we did...car park in the rear

Food was not great. Passanda tasted and looked like no other passanda we’ve ever had. Lamb chops didn’t taste very nice. Wuick delivery service but I won’t be going back.

Fab staff, very friendly. Nice food and good parking. A mile walk from Chester city centre. Very noisy at night, bar underneath was very busy and music was being played until late. Door underneath the rooms kept banging. Bed very uncomfortable, mattress made lots of noise when moving around and you could feel the springs. Overall not a bad stay for the price.
