Las Iguanas - Cheshire Oaks in Cheshire West and Chester

Went to have lunch after going to the cinema. We were sat down straight away, it was not busy at all. I would say less than 10 other tables sat. Granted, they only had a couple of members of staff on but after 25 minutes of being completely ignored and not even being asked for a drinks order, we got up and left. It’s not as if they were busy. Never again. First time in my life I’ve experienced service so poor I’ve got up and left.

This restaurant produces outstanding food every time we go there. The menu is joyous. The staff are extremely professional and friendly. The environment is perfect, with an egdy tropical vibe. The Carolina Reaper Sauce is unforgettable. So, this is our No. 1 "Go-to". Try it and see why!

Staff were very friendly and welcoming. They showed extensive knowledge of the menu. We were a couple who came at the end of august. No reservation made ahead of our visit. The restaurant was about half full with a good atmosphere. We were seated without any problems or delays. We went for tapas and the waitress helped us choose the correct amount to order. We also took advantage of the 2-4-1 offer on the cocktails which were delicious! The strawberry lemonade was very refreshing. The food was amazing. Highly recommend the jalapeño poppers and the taco platter. We enjoyed our visit and will be back again. Couldn’t believe we had never visited this chain before.

Went on Monday night 19 August, staff were very pleasant and couldn’t do much for you , we had a lovely tasty meal nachos to start then tapas and churros to finish everything tasted fab, we had cocktails which was delicious as well but overpriced, we were staying at the travelodge and had 30% off food , highly recommend

Alex was great ensuring us we got plenty of drinks with our bottomless brunch and even advertising sides and extras that were available.

Family asked me where I wanted to go for Father’s Day, chose to come back to las iguanas. As always it was brilliant. All the staff are so friendly and I got a free pint, bonus. Love it here, my favourite gaff

We haven't been here for some time, and always really enjoyed coming here. So with the opportunity to have dinner here last week, we felt we had a guarantee of a good experience. Sadly that wasn't the case.... Since we last visited the much vaunted menu had been trimmed right down (we know restaurants have had to re-evaluate their offer) but what was left meant everything that had made Las Iguanas different had been stripped away. In the end we went for the beetroot burgers which were nice, and had an additional sweet pickled coleslaw....which came on a tiny flat dish....perhaps it saw the cabbage on the way over...... The two things that were actually worth bigging up were the espressos which were very good, and the service was also good (partly because it was three quarters empty but still good). Summing up - this used to be a great place for a family meal. It now feels like a massively overpriced fast food outlet and isn't somewhere we would consider going again.

We visited here for a bottomless brunch and had a great experience. Servers were amazing (ale / Corina ). Constantly bringing us drinks without us having to ask. Food was great will definitely be coming back.

Popped in for a quick bite at lunchtime. Ordered from the lunch menu which was great value at £9.95 each for a main and a drink. Food was really tasty, we had a veggie chilli and a chicken burrito. Small issue with the payment options which the manager (Chris) sorted out really quickly and to our full satisfaction. Great service. Thank you!

Seated upstairs after requesting a downstairs table as we had someone in the party with mobility issues... Service and food was excellent though half of my husbands mussels were closed so inedible. Everything else was perfect. Highly recommended.

Visited this place and had lunch and a drink. Food and drink were nice but unfortunately they wouldn't accept cash for payment and was card only. This left me red faced as I only carry cash as I find it easier to budget with cash....

We booked a table for two people at 3:45 and were shown to our table. The restaurant was almost empty with the exception of 4 tables, who were eating their food. (13 people max). 20 minutes pass, and no one comes to take our drink/food order. We felt ingonired and very unwelcome. Two members of staff were standing at the chefs pass having a chat while we waited. We got up out our seats at 4:25 and left. We went to Chiquito just over the road, and it was great, lovely food, outstanding customer service , and highly recommended it. Terrible experience with Las Iguanas and will be avoiding your restaurants in the future. I'm not mad, just really disappointed. 0/10 would never stop foot in your restaurant again.

We came in for a pre drink before going shopping for my wife’s birthday. We met Stefan who made us some cocktails….. sadly we missed the shopping! Great atmosphere, great people

Food was excellent, everything was cooked to perfection and is one og the best meals I have eaten for a while. Everything fresh and finished the whole plates from starters to deserts. Staff were friendly and a great atmosphere. Would highly reccomend.

Wow wow wow. We were out for my birthday and they exceeded all expectations. We were recommended by our hotel and we were amazed at the quality of food and the amazing chefs! We had the best time. My friends and I went for my birthday and honestly the food was so good! (Especially the popcorn squid) cocktails were 2FOR1 and soooooooo good and so much choice we even got a £10 off code and the bar man stefan was amazing and so friendly. The Manager Corina was the sweetest. We cannot wait to come back already. Even if it is just for drink the atmosphere is so nice 😊

One of the worst dining experiences in a long timeService was exceptionally slow. I think we waited nearly an hour between starters and main course coming out.The main course though- ordered the Brazilian bbq. Thought something was off when picked up the ribs and they didn’t fall off the bone…cut into them- very tough- took a bite- not just slightly cool, they were practically frozenNow to be fair to the staff, they took them away and I was brought a replacement set, however really concerning that half frozen food is served up on your plateWon’t be coming back

Popped in for an early evening meal. Friendly, attentive staff in a large, airy restaurant. A varied menu from Mexico, Cuba, Argentine and Brazil. Our food was served quickly and it was well presented and tasty. Low Covid risk because we could pay online from our table. We had forgotten how good this restaurant train is - we will be back!

Me, some friends and my 18 month old little girl visited Las Iguanas for our dinner and we were so impressed. The food was gorgeous but the night was made by our brilliant server, Ellie. She was so friendly and helpful and even encouraged me to feel comfortable when my daughter wanted breastfeeding in the restaurant. As a fairly new Mum, I really appreciate that assurance.

Amazing and fast service but don’t worry because the food was not rushed it was amazing! And our server Marcus was even more amazing he helped us out but because my son could not Finnish the food because of him having to much mock tails we asked Marcus to wrap it up for us and he did it straight away and not just that but Marcus was training a lovely man.

Ellie our waitress was wonderful, it’s the 1st time I’ve eaten there and I was very pleasantly surprised, the food was piping hot and had great taste. I had tapas my husband had chicken enchiladas, it was all excellent. Couldn’t fault the food, the service or the cocktails

First time at this restaurant, and enjoyed all aspects, the staff were great, the food was excellent very good and the rum brilliant. We had the tapas dishes between us, and this was more than enough for us, however I did try the sticky toffee pudding and was a bit disappointed, I would not get it again.
