We found The Bulls Head by accident, we loved the cosy atmosphere, great food offerings, hard to choose from the menu, food was delicious and beautifully presented on arrival and hot, staff looked after us beautifully! Thank you, we will be back! The Bebbingtons

Went in for food for 6 people, firstly we were told they might not be able to serve us as they were busy,even though there were hours left before they stop serving. I got a pie by the time the chips which come with the meal came out,the pie was cold .for the amount of money ,we spent on our table the service was rubbish,been in before and had to wait a long time to be served (wasnt many in )they really need to sort this problem out as lots of locals are saying the same thing,its a shame because its a nice looking pub

Booked a time slot, but had to wait an hour to order, even though the restaurant was half full. Finally got to order our food although the server needs lessons in hospitality lol. I ordered my mixed grill, they didn't even ask how I wanted my steak cooking. I had to ask for medium... it came mega well done, chicken was mushy but edible (just). The missus and daughter loved their pie tho. Nobody came to see us during the meal to ask if everything was ok. I got up to search for sauce, to no avail. Far better places locally, especially for the price

Visited today for the first time. Gourmet food with good sized portions and excellent presentation, but very reasonable prices. Superb service and a friendly atmosphere. Dog friendly too. Will definitely go again, highly recommended.

Would be a good pub if the teenage bar maids smiled or even spoke bad atmosphere throughout. And to top it off theirs and old piss head going round asking people to stop swearing and talk quietly. Very clicky pub don't waste your money

Amazing food!! Such great quality and a good selection of different meals that you don't normally see on a pub menu. Staff very friendly, good selection of ales. Even the outside patio area was very nice and had a covered area in case the weather turned. Will be definitely going back there

A delicious evening meal. I can recommend the Seafood linguine. Staff were a little too attentive other wise a lovely pub to meet up with friends.

The Food was lovely I had steak and ale pie. Good portion size with loads of meat in it and the gravy was great

This is a Lovely friendly place to have a meal and a few drinks We went here last week . The three of us ordered the Fish and chips with mushy peas. WOW.. Best Fish and chips I've had in a long time. The fish was Haddock. BIGGG.Haddock in delicious batter. Triple fried chips. One of us is a coeliac. No problem the Manageress was very helpful and gave her exactly what we had but Gluten Free. Cannot complement this Establishment enought. Thank you The Bulls Head management and staff for a lovely night. 👍👍👍😊😊

My family took me for mother's day. Meal and service brilliant. Staff couldnt do enough for us.deffinetly go again.

Very disappointed, my family booked for Mothers day special ! Service very poor no prosecco on arrival as stated ,food was luke warm which we waited over an hour for! a member of party had the wrong meal given , beef undercooked, pork also, full of veins could not cut through it ! No vegetables brought out when mentioned the waitress said they forgot ! Child's meal had no peas on it as stated pity we did not take photos of meals. overall bad experience we will not be returning.

Visited this lovely pub on a recommendation. I had the Homemade Cheese pie and my friend the Seafood Linguine, both were excellent! Service from Hannah was great. Will definitely be back x

What a fantastic lunch we had. Mains and a pudding AND coffee today! I had the seabass with roasted veg. Perfection. And we had the apple and rhubarb crumble and custard. Just wow! The whole meal was superb as was the service.

We had the wake after family Funeral here, not a great day obviously but the staff are superb as was the buffet

Went to the Bulls Head in Davenham on Boxing Day for their Taste of Asia menu and it was amazing. The food was delicious, service excellent and atmosphere was lovely. 4 adults and 4 children and we all thoroughly enjoyed it. Nothing was too much trouble for the attentive waiting staff and those sticky ribs were 😋. We'll definitely be back!

Lovely building just a shame that been few times now very cold no heating on only a radiator in lcorridor to the outside , food comes before cutlery when only a few people in ,food not as good as used to be visited today won't be coming bk sorry going down hill !

Our first time eating here and we thought the food was very good. Definitely recommend the homemade cheese and onion pie which was really tasty with lovely shortcrust pastry.

I just want to say how impressed I was tonight with the food at the Bulls head! Portion size was awesome and the food was incredible.

A Fabulous afternoon sharing with family an 80th birthday. Hot buffett amazing, food was just Fabulous and plenty of it. Service amazing too, especially Summer, our courteous, friendly, attentive waitress. Everything was just perfect, thank you to all. X

Lovy food although myself and my friend had haddock it looked like it was halved sp a small portion we though for the price.saying that everything has gone dear and it tasted very nice

Pub car park now pay and display. Ridiculous.

Be aware you have to register your car for using the car park otherwise you will be fined. Visited with a friend and even though we registered she had a penalty notice. A member of staff from Bulls Head did sort it out but I advise you take a photo of the screen before submitting and ask for receipts for your drinks just in case.

Wonderful food. Having lived in Italy for the last 15 years it's a blessing having such a good pub down the road. Highly recommended.

Good place for a drink, however our meal was a really poor experience. The waiting on staff actively chose not to serve us, ignoring emtpy plates and glasses for over 20 minutes. The food was pretty good but meat a bit overdone. Sadly the waitresses as a whole were really disappointing and didn't seem at all interested in their job. I don't think we'll eat here again for some time. One or two of the staff are holding the place together while the others sadly ruin the experience.

Pretty rustic country pub. Service was pretty slow arrives at 215 our mains came at 1540. Maybe short staffed? Ordered starters and they took 30 mins to tell us they only had one houmous left Don't order the halloumi sticks they were so fried/baked there was just a chewy texture no flavour. Nut roast was OK but mostly rice. Season veg was a few carrots and parsnips and mostly potatos . Yorkshire pudding was greasy and crispy.

An absolute disgraceful place. My uncles funeral wake was held here. Obviously an upsetting time for the family. Spent around 4hr buying drinks from the bar etc. 2 weeks later I got a £100 parking fine from a private parking company who controls the car park. I emailed the manager of the pub to raise to him what was surely a mistake. The Parking company would not cancel the fine, and the pub management accepted the Parking company's decision. The food provided by the pub was substandard at best.

I went to here with my friends for a meal we all had the turkey Sunday roast I would just like to say everything on the plate was lovely put the turkey was brilliant tender and mosit it was great well done to the chef it was great and to the staff they were friendly and service with a smile well done to you to keep up the good work merry Christmas we will be bk again thank you xx

We booked the upstairs room for a birthday celebration. The buffet was excellent and great value. The staff were extremely helpful and we're a pleasure to deal with.

3 of us previously had an enjoyable meal at the Bulls Head, so were looking looking forward to our second visit. On arrival we were given a table facing the front door which was wide open, so it was quite cold. We asked if it could be pulled to, but as people came in and out it was left open. We were given the menu and were told that although turkey was on the menu they didn't have any. The restaurant wasn't particularly busy and there was only one person waiting on the tables. Having decided what we wanted we waited a good while and our order was eventually taken by the man behind the bar. The food was good but the service was really slow and that let it down. Sorry but we won't be returning any time soon.

Great village pub with a nice friendly vibe. Good choice of beers. Didn't have anything to eat but the food did look amazing so will return to sample what the menu has to offer.

A party of 17 were booked in to eat no menu's on the table only option was tapaz without any flexibility because they said we hadn't booked our meals beforehand so it was very poor

Lovely pub, dogs are allowed and staff bring water and treats over for them. Good selection of foods and drinks, and really clean. However, the food seems to be frozen and it is not as good as it was before the new management took over. Still come if you want a drink though!

We didn't book, but they graciously gave us a table upstairs. It's my birthday. After the meals arrived, they completely forgot about us. I had to ring the pub t to ask them

Had lovely meal. BUT I'VE HAD SO MUCH STRESS WITH RECEIVING A FINE AFTER FINE FOR PARKING IN THERE CAR PARK I FILLED IN MY REG ON THERE PARKING SCREEN BUT IT OBVIOUSLY DIDN'T WORK. BEEN IN SEEN THE MANGER THEY TOLD ME THAT IT SORTED AS IT'S NOT ON THERE SYSTEM ANYMORE. FEW WEEKS LATER ANOTHER FINE £160 NOBODY IS INTERESTED IN SORTING IT OUT JUST GETTING PASSED ON TO ANOTHER PERSON... !! 🤬🤬🤬🤬

Do not enter pub without entering your details on the Pad I did not see on entry, after entering from the carpark entry, I was not advised of parking restrictions!!!! Another greedy landlord! I was not the driver the driver stayed in the garden with family, sorry I failed to spot the signage I was at a pub I had visited in the past without restriction, I considered to be at a village pub carpark not a town centre carpark, I provided proof of sales on the premises, staff not interested in my mistake, however the company managing the carpark can spell the drivers surname incorrectly but that does not matter!!!!! In times right after pubs have struggled after covid. Well this place won't see me visit again, good luck in the future bulls head but I can honestly say in times when inflated bar prices are the norm you adding £60 to the cost of that well done, I hope your covid losses are recovered hastily!!!!

Great traditional pub for a relaxing drink with friends.

It’s a lovely country pub with good food. I would just say call ahead if you can so you can get a table and they know to expect you for food (this is a village pub so don’t expect nice home cooked food on tap) - and make sure you put your (correct) reg plate number on their screen to avoid any parking charges. They seem to be the only complaints from people which could easily be avoided. It’s a lovely pub.

Decent genuine pub food and down to earth atmosphere. Nice outside area for when the weather is nice. Inside is very cozy and traditional. Best scampi and chips in the area in my opinion 👍.
