Assembly in Cheshire West and Chester

Doesn't play wonderall. Singer is awful.

Brilliant singer on the night we went in 4 11 23 the atmosphere was buzzing but not too busy which is a plus as we could get a seat , the staff on the bar were lovely and the place was clean , only thing is im not sure of the shared loos as i had to wipe wee off the seat

We called in for food and drinks with the dog and couldn't have been made more welcome. Water and a plate of food provided for the dog as well as ourselves

Great bar, only let down by the bar staff not letting me steal the sign on the wall !! Seriously your staff were great natured and let us have a really good laugh. See you next time .

Just called in on as we were passing. Was a bit worried as it was empty but then realised it was only 12.30. Omg the best food we have ever had. So much flavour in everything. Service is second to none. Can't wait to come back.

Visited this place on Saturday, went in for a drink at lunch time, had a couple of fabulous cocktails. Liked it that much we booked a table for food for the evening. The food was beautiful and well presented. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The gentleman running the place was very hands on and very good at he job. I would 100% recommend this place, when visiting Chester.

Had great afternoon at the Assembly, Gorgeous tapas, excellent cocktails & we met owner James who went above & beyond to make us feel welcome…staff excellent..very good prices… We will be back

We shared 5 dishes and we were delighted at the taste Thought the bread dish could of been a bit more ie 4 instead of 2 But we still enjoyed

The heart of chester. An exquisite bar on watergate street. The cocktails are brilliant. The staff are very attentive and full of knowledge. The music selection is outstanding, calling back to the classics, absolutely brilliant! Thank you to the brilliant staff at assembly for making this one of my best chester experiences

Top bar, top music, top food, specialy dirty fries must try with chorizo, superb location, very polite and helpful staff, my favorite relax place. Thanks for service #respect hospitality

Without a doubt this is my favourite place for a light bite and a drink or two in Chester. The food is always incredible and the cocktails are delicious. The staff are always welcoming and friendly. Would highly recommend.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!! Visited here for a quick bite to eat at 1900. The place was empty the chef shrugged and huffed when asked if they still did food and immediately brought the sign in which said food served until 9pm. Wrong food was brought to me which was frozen and reheated. Then to top it off, staff were miserable and unapologetic. If you have aby sense, please avoid here like the plague!!!!

What a great place I found on my visit to Chester! Great atmosphere and lovely staff; really attentive. Manager was well informed and a pleasure to be around - a def cherry on the top of a really great night. Will def be back for another visit on my next trip!!

Excellent service. Everyone is super friendly. We saw a sign advertising a “dog pawty” and it was so nice to come to such a friendly environment for the dogs. We were given a gift bag as well for the dogs which was so lovely. Food and drinks as well were smashing. A must come to in Chester!

Honestly one of the best tapas I’ve had the food was amazing, staff where so lovely and it’s dog friendly and they offered him a dog bed and a treat and he loved it great price for the city!

Amazing bar and security staff. Had a fantastic night with them. The music was OFF THE CHAIN! and would recommend to anyone visiting Chester to drop in and visit. Thanks for the memories!

Very cool bar with a great cocktail menu. If you like watching the world go by with a drink grab the seats by the window. Could easily spend all day in here listening to the tunes and working the way through the menu.

Worth a visit if out and about in Chester

Called here yesterday for a drink. Ordered 2 small 125ml glasses of red wine. Paid by card and due to the background noise I didn’t hear what the barman mumbled about how much I owed. Just checked my bank account and they charged me £20 for the two glasses. This is in excess of London price levels and a complete and utter rip off.

Great staff and service. Fantastic Saturday night with brilliant music from the 80s and 90s. Definitely recommend for young or old.

Excellent place to visit always friendly excellent service best place to eat and drink in Chester Always a warm welcome to us wether it’s just 2 or the family Tallulah our dog loves it too watching the dogs go by , what ever you order it’s first class and always makes you feel special no matter what time of the day you visit , always dog friendly offering a bone and a lovely drink It was Mother’s Day it was so lovely to recive a complementary glass of bubbles wishing me a happy Mother’s Day This is a great place to visit it is a must to go don’t walk past have the Experiance you won’t regret it Thankyou for a lovely start to mothered day .

The food here is brilliant. We had pigs cheek, stuffed chicken thighs and calamari. A new favourite place to eat in Chester. It looks more like a bar, although if you don't try the tapas, you are missing out!

Friendly welcome in a nice place to chill after a day of sightseeing.

A beautifully decorated establishment which combines luxury with a cozy feeling. The food is simply breathtaking. High quality ingredients are well cooked and seasoned in a subtle but elegant way. Service is delivered in a manner which other establishments would to well to imitate. Friendly, knowledgeable and professional, without being overbearing is not an easy mix to achieve at the best of times, let alone during our covid/Brexit ravaged age. Our hostess, Summer, exemplified these traits and ensured that we will be back soon. Thankyou for making our experience such a welcoming and enjoyable one.

A gem of a find, we sat in the open window at the front. Fantastic cappuccino and cocktail. Very clean, modern place. Loved watching people passing by. Highly recommended

Really nice atmosphere. Love the décor (especially the toilets!). We had cocktails and I can highly recommend the Ladies Day. Great staff, friendly and attentive. We will be back for sure!
