The best pizza and chicken in Chester le street. The staff are great and service top notch. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

Terrible customer service. Incompetent staff who continually get orders wrong. Then they leave the phone off the hook, so it's impossible to contact them to correct the order. The only option you have is to go back to the shop and wait while they correct your order. Which means the rest of the food goes cold. They have no idea what they are doing.

Community cafe preparing freshly made food from a good choice menu. No frills but clean and accommodating. Popular requiring pre booking some days. We use regularly.

Busy place, good atmosphere. Awkward when payment was being made. An IPad was handed to me asking what size tip we would like to leave, 10, 20 or 30%. The waitress still standing there. She’d brought us a quick drink and a sandwich, not a 3 course meal!

Popped in on way back from Durham, toastie and side order or chips, lovely

This is a gem worth finding Scrumptious food Brilliant staff Lovely decor Home made pumpkin & chilli soup & burger were very very good Not cheap but that shows with the high level of cuisine No wonder it was rammed on both my visits !

Very good, went for my partner's birthday. I had the Mexican Chicken, a bit like butter chicken, with coriander and pepper, very nice. My partner had a fajita, which comes served on a skillet and you make your own with 4 wraps. We had their onion rose starter, which is a bit like a massive onion bhaji. I'm stuffed. Thank you and goodnight.

Lovely vintage style tearoom with a traditional food fayre. Parking can be a problem at times.

Very friendly cafe with very nice food. We had a breakfast and it all seemed like quality, fresh produce. Would definitely recommend.

Used to love going to vennels with my family but over the last few months it has gone downhill, had a couple of panini’s which came out cold and ordered a baguette which they didn’t say they had run out of baguettes at the time, so I was left waiting whilst my family had nearly finished they’re lunch, not happy with the service at all for what I’d paid and I have to say £43 was extortionate for what we had!!
