By far one of our favourite Italians. We visit santinnis weekly and have never had a bad experience. Dom is always very attentive and friendly. Had both sit in and take out food from here and can't complain at all

me and my partner came for the summer party night. fantastic entertaiment, food and service. we were served by dom who i think is the new manager and also emma. they were both brilliant made sure our drinks were never empty and ensured we were having a brilliant time. would highly reccomend

Awful over priced meal. Supposed to be a happy occasion with family but turned into being rushed - we were told when we rung up we needed to leave at 7pm which we were fine with but when we arrived were told 6:45pm, our server did not come until 5:30 and our starters did not arrive until 6:15, yet at 6:45 we were told we were not able to order dessert as they needed room. (Half the restaurant was empty) we then had to explain to a rude waitress that we hadn’t been served until late and this wasn’t our fault. We left at 6:58 and had to queue for the bill, chatted outside for around 10 minutes and no one turned up for the table they were so desperate for. Have been to here several times before and not had such an awful disappointing experience and has gone massively down hill. UPDATE for reply: Just to note I find it very interesting how this is all FACTUAL and no apology. The “woman” you’re referring to is my mother and this was different information to what we were told when we booked. Your reply is rude in itself and how would you know how the waitress spoke to us you weren’t even there? When we arrived it was noted you yourself were also rude and didn’t even welcome us just told us to go sit down. You all need some training in customer service if you are more interested in checking CCTV after customers have left instead of attending politely and correctly when there, maybe replay the greetings we both got too whilst you are at it. Also you haven’t put much thought into your reply because 50 minutes for a starter shows how awful the service was.

The services is first class, up close and personal, the food is exceptional, cocktails are to die for and it’s on my door step!!!! Have visited this restaurant many times, for evening meals, lunchtime, mid week tea and for private events. Service is always very warm and friendly and the food is 5 star! Very reasonably priced and some of the best Italian food I have tasted outside of Italy itself! Couldn't recommend any higher.

Absolutely love this place food always beautiful and staff are always so friendly. Our kids love visiting to make their own pizzas 🍕. Me and my husband all so enjoy our date nights here. Never had a bad meal yet.

This is such a lovely restaurant, we love it so much we have now become regular attendees. We take our grandchildren as a treat on a regular basus and they love it so much.

Do not come here if you value conversation, your ear drums, or the ability to actually hear the wait staff or for them to hear you. They had a live musician and some genuine intent to make your ears bleed. Her performance was fine but what’s baffling is the sound. You couldn’t hear anything. It actually left my ear bleeding from the intensity of being sat besides a speaker. The venue has no sound dampening and isn’t large enough to justify any amount of speakers but I’m certain there’s at-least 2. The wait staff literally had to shout or could not hear you trying to get their attention or eveb talking face to face. I feel bad for them. Mistakes happen but they certainly happen more when what essentially felt like a karaoke performance

Very slow service, the decor was very outdated too. Prices were very high for an old mining town side street. Prices didn't match, the location, building, I think they think they are in Durham centre when it's Shildon. Lol

Been here twice now and both times everything has been perfect! Not bad pricing for delicious food either. The manager (not sure on his name) is great and there’s a light blonde server with glasses who’s excellent at her job. Will definitely be back😊

Nice atmosphere, friendly staff good food as good as any I have tried in UK. Reasonable prices on food and drinks. Free car park at side of building, Worth giving this place a try you won't be disappointed. Always best to ring ahead and check if they have availability.

Awesome twosome. Emma and Owen Served us. Owen made top drawer cocktails. His mixologist experience shone. An awesome old fashioned from a connoisseur and amazing strawberry daiquiri made with fresh strawberries. Even mocktail delicious Food delicious and service outstanding Definitely recommend

Had lunch today ( 14/2/24) The staff were excellent, great customer service, so attentive. The food was absolutely amazing, starter main and sweet. Some of the most delicious food I have had. Cold drink and a cappuccino £30.00... Just to complete the review, it's nit my first time there, it won't be my last and I would very highly recommend a visit...

First visit, excellent attentive service but not overpowering. Quick service even though they were fairly busy, food excellent in taste, presentation and quality. Prices ,in this day and age brilliant. I've paid more for a mediocre bar meal. Highly recommend.

The food was outstanding, priced very well too. It was heaving with Christmas parties and even though the place was chocker, the service was still brilliant. We went for our works Christmas party and everyone agreed the place was great. Will definitely consider for another time.

Delicious food, friendly staff and great value

Took a group of 26, 4 adults and 22 girls aged 10-17. Right from the first enquiry, everyone was so accommodating. Allergies, intolerances, and preferences could all be catered for withou5 issue. When we arrived, the area was set, and the staff were their usual helpful, happy selves even with the prospect of a noisy group tc serve. Fiona, Owen and the young guy in white top (l'm so sorry I didn't catch his name) were all so lovely to the girls, we really couldn't have asked for a more hospitable welcome. We had a fabulous night, the food was amazing as always hanks to the team in the kitchen for that. I really cannot say enough how grateful we are for this place, its one of my favourite places to eat anyway. They even managed to accommodate take aways for jealous husbands and parents! Thank you Santinni! 10 stars!

If I could give this restaurant more than 5 stars I would. We've always had good experiences here so decided to go for our post-marriage meal (we had a small 8 person wedding reception) and the staff were so attentive, friendly, and just really went above and beyond to make the day even more special. 5 out of 8 of us are vegan and the food was absolutely stunning - they have multiple options and are lenient with changes that can be made to suit anyone. Thank you Santinni team for making our special day even more fantastic, we are so happy we chose this restaurant and will be coming for our anniversary next year for sure 💚

Was booked for a meal for 2 on a Saturday lunch time. All I can say is absolutely fabulous food and great staff! Especially big thanks to Owen who sorted our bill for us and was very entertaining watching him make cocktails. Great atmosphere and will definitely be going back. Thank you for a great meal out.
