Rose Cafe in County Durham

Been here a couple of times now, they serve breakfast, lunch and lighter bites. My breakfast thos morning was great and cappuccino served just how I like it, not too hot. Staff are very friendly the place has a family run feel to it. I would recommend and will be back myself

Had breakfast and a burger meal here and not bad. Although the sausages on the breakfast were cheap rubbish and the black pudding all you could taste was pepper but bar that it was nice as for the burger meal the burger was excellent and nice and tasty BUT... The fries/chips were a small potion and I walked away still hungry after it. Barely a potato in total in the fries. Such a shame cause it could be the best little cafe in Chester.

Lost my handbag and believed it was at Rose Cafe. It wasn't, but the Owner was absolutely lovely and went through all the CCTV for me. He was brilliant, caring, Professional, respectful. Just a lovely Man. I would highly recommend Rose Cafe.

Lovely, freshly cooked meals. Quickly cooked and served by fantastic staff. Would definitely recommend. There's a great choice of reasonably priced food.

Nice little cafe situated at bottom of Chester le Street. 2 teas, bacon and hash brown sarnie and chicken wrap £13.90 and very tasty. Lovely staff and quick service.

Lovely little place. Loaaads of food options which is great. The food was really nice the coffee is good and it's all for a very good price!! Would definitely recommend and will be coming back!

Having recently popped into here, I fancied something to eat when I was out. I had a bacon, egg and black pudding breakfast sandwich. I couldn't fault the food or the pot of tea (I have had some awful ones). But what also really shone for me was the staff. It was such a pleasure to see them helping less agile customers when they were wanting to use the toilet facilities and had struggled with their walking, in this day most people put their head down and ignore others needing a hand. I also couldn't complain about the seating / tables. I'd certainly recommend and visit again.

Great coffee, great variety of food

Got the feta salad, crispy onion cream cheese bagel and was amazing. Friendly staff and great service all around. Good little spot!

Lovely place to eat in my opinion. First time ever we've been and the new management seem to be doing a good job. Lush inside with wooden tables and friendly service. Highly recommend.

Amazing service and food highly recommend

2 and a half hour wait for breakfast and it's still not arrived. Waiting around for it coming before work meaning I will now not be able to eat it and that's if it even turns up. What a joke. I understand it's a Saturday but the order said 11.25am delivery.

Absolutely disgusting 🤢 takeaway container melted on to chips and burger. Burger isn't even good enough to give to our dog safely. Delivery took almost 2 hours too Reply to the owner: It didn't need microwaving as the lid was already melted on to chips! Next time try and serve people good food and properly please 🙏

Absolutely beautiful and piping hot. Adhering to social distancing and table service was carried out. Food was amazing also had a latte which was huge. Child friendly, all round brilliant service 10/10

Great refurb so in keeping with a steam punk feel, food great especially the breakfast wrap and fair pricing.
