come here a lot, food and service is often 10/10 however my most recent visit had to be my worst ever. lass that works there, i think her name was like phoebe or chelsea, spat in my food, also found one of her hairs in it too

I had a suprise party for my dad at chesters. We bought 15 pizzas dips and fries .. We got it all for a excellent price it's was delicious everyone loved it. all the food came nice and hot and on time. Staff were very helpful and friendly would highly recommend Thanks again.

Everytime I go in , especially with my son, they treat us like we are their star customers. They address us by name, always make my son feel special. He loves going in and waits for their recognition, fantastic family run business, wouldn't want to eat anywhere else

Unfortunately I have had varying experiences when ordering from SFC. A few times the fast food restaurant has exceeded expectations, however more recently this has not been the case. Although from time to time the salt levels varied, it was nothing major but for my latest experience this was not the case. I ordered at 19:51 and the website led me to believe the food would arrive ASAP. I then chased them up by calling them at 20:35 to which they replied the food will be leaving the shop in 2 minutes and is on its way for delivery. The doorbell then rang at 20:55 to which a delivery man was standing at the door juggling the food as the paper bag for which I paid 20p and hence ought to have been plastic had ripped. Although a ripped bag is not too big of an issue, the reason for it had led to our food being ruined too. The sauce from the wrap which was completely open from one side had spilled all over the other food and bag creating a mushy mess. The wrap was soggy and inedible with the salad looking far from fresh. The salad in the burger was also of the same calibre. Overall the quality and service were both disappointing.

I have had takeaway from this place for years and has always been great. The last 2 visits however may well be the last however. Not only have prices gone up (which I can understand) but the chicken portion sizes have dropped. What I get these days with a 6 strips meal is a third the size they used to be, with my order today being no bigger or thicker than my little finger.

1st visit and definitely not the last. Had wings and a pizza. So tasty. It's our go to take out from now on.

One of my favourite takeaways in the area, good portion sizes and lovely juicy chicken. The mixed kebabs are a particular favourite!

I love this place This week i had a southern fried pizza with fries and it was absolutely outstanding. My guest had an empire fillet meal and absolutely loved it too. Perfect crust, crispy bottom, soft centre and plenty of toppings on the pizza. The fillet meal was well cooked, a very big burger and the fries were delicious Delivered hot and perfect and very quickly. Can't say any better than that can you?

Excellent food and I'm very particular too so if I'm happy I'm sure you will be. Chose cheesy fillet burger meal n mmmm lol. Succulent tender chicken, delish coating and the garlic sauce is gorgeous, oh and the cheesy garlic bread is second to none. Friendly fast service. Excellent value too. Highly recommend SFC Chester le Street.

Excellent customer service today, ordered from the website but accidentally clicked Collection instead of Delivery. The shopped fixed MY mistake quickly and politely. We have been getting food from here regularly and always happy with the quality of the food too. Thank you SFC!

Few times I have had to wait over an hour on delivery and a few times I have asked for a plain burger yet comes with salad on then dont get eating because my son is bad wen it comes to food with things he didn't like that was on it or touched the burger I wouldnt care but it's all wrote down for yous to see then wen I wanted a burger with salad come with lettuce my kind of salad it lettuce onion tomatoes etc

Ordered tonight through just eat. No confirmation rang them to be told dont deal with just eat anymore. But the payments been taken !!! Refused to do anything attitudes appalling currently still out of pocket. Dont deserve 1 star

So tonight I put a Farley straight forward order in of a strip meal and a wrap meal, all I asked is for the chicken in the wrap to be well done... turns out when I get home its literally flying about the bag!... I asked for a large bbq dip... got all the way back home to find no dip in the bag... the portion size of the chips was a joke not to mention the 3 lads behind the counter that looked like they were on another planet... unless the owner is in the shop you've got little to no hope of getting much sense out the other lads behind the counter.

Waited for over an hour before calling to ask where our food was. The attitude of the staff was unbelievable and to be called a liar because I said someone at their place told us it would be 30 mins. Then to be told it hadn’t even left the shop. Really can’t believe. But it doesn’t matter according to the manager as they don’t need our custom they have got the best reviews in Chester. I have only given them 1 star as it wouldn’t let me go any furthering the reviews.

Absoloutly outrages how they still have a bussiness....order food hours ago phones them asking where it is to be told I haven't made an order and that they would make a new order and I would receive it in 20 mins👊 guess what still no order and they are now closed

WELLL I HAD A DELIVERY LAST NIGHT!! And never again am I giving these people my money! They sent wrong food forgot my drinks. So I rang up and got told my correct food was on way...... 10 minutes later had shop owner (manager) at my door asking for old food back which I put in the bin with bites took out of all the food because it was WRONG! Who wouldn’t do that if you got given wrong food and was absolutely starving!! So he refused to give me my food. So basically he took my money with out giving me food!! He was saying he needed to show his manager the old food when he was the manager??! He threatened to ring police on my for wanting my food!! So I was the bigger man and telt him to keep food and MONEY! telt him to get away from my house with his threatening behaviour. NOT A VERY NOCE OWNER AND MANGER SO PLEASE THINK TWICE ANOUT SOUTHERN FRIED CHICKEN SHOP AT THE TOP OF CHESTER LE STREET FRONT STREET!! Very rude staff and not very nice manners. This is not the end to this I will be going in shop today to get my money back 👌

Great food and service is amazing when you go to the shop but when you order for delivery, it often takes ages to come (up to 1 1/2hrs) but overall amazing quality

We are regular customers for delivery orders, and really like the food. YEAH WHEN IT GETS HERE. We don't live far from the place and the last 4 or 5 times we have had to chase up where food is. Well tonight I've had enough. Waited from 6:25pm - 7:50pm for 2 8inch pizzas and a portion of chips and onion rings. As per usual had to chase order at half 7 and got the whole "really sorry just waiting of your pizzas". When finally arrived I told delivery driver I wasn't prepared to pay due to the service received. He rang the store and all they wanted to do was knock a couple of quid off. No thanks. Sent the whole lot back and that will be the end of us using their services.

Came here and maybe they thought I had been drinking but when I ordered two extra fries, I heard the guy who was frying say 'greedy bastard' - not the level of service I'd come to expect as their food is actually alright. Won't be going again
