I don't normally like fish and chips, but this was different. I had fish chips and Irish curry sauce, and it is the best fish and chips I've ever had. We go there all the time now and it deserves every one of the 5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐'s. The owners are so pleasant and make you feel welcome and at ease. Irish curry sauce has to be tried! It's delicious!

£9 for 2 sandwiches one bite and they were dry as anything 🤔

Why was this place nearly empty? It should be full!!!!! The cheese scone was just out of the oven and was delicious! The coffee as great and the prices very reasonable in my opinion. The staff were very friendly and the cafe also has loads of craft things for sale which were high quality. Go there you will enjoy it!

It's a shame they're out of business now. Does anyone know if they moved to somewhere else?

Way over priced, not very clean we both had hairs on our plates the milk jug was not very clean .after saying that the tarts were quite nice.

Great service, excellent prices and a gem in Newton Hall.

Wonderful staff, good food, clean toilet. Gave us a sausage for our two dogs! We will definitely come back and sample some more goodies!😄😄

A canteen kitchen serving food during the day. It has a micro brewery in the back which opens up a on a weekend, with some wonderful ales. A good friendly crowd, make for an enjoyable experience.

Amazing friendly pub/inn Set in a lovely village. Rooms were great and clean. Breakfast was perfect. Stayed here as were at KYNREN (2.5 miles away). So much more to do around the area too Had a great night as there was a village raffle on at night. All the locals super friendly too . Many thanks to George and his team for a great stay

It has the best beer garden in Durham the bar has a great selection of drinks. The staff are always pleasant. We recomy it to everyone

What an amazing find! Others had wonderfully generously filled breakfast rolls and I had the best scones EVER, one savoury, one sweet. Such friendly service too, What's not to like!?
