What an amazing find! Others had wonderfully generously filled breakfast rolls and I had the best scones EVER, one savoury, one sweet. Such friendly service too, What's not to like!?

A private party catering for 20 people including vegans and vegetarians. A superb buffet which catered for everyone, including the chilldren. The food was wonderful, and plenty of it. Linda created a lovely atmosphere and everyone really enjoyed the event.

The panini with their own chutney and Brie is outstanding!!!!! The lemon/raspberry cake and cream were too good also. The staff were friendly and attentive. The atmosphere is homely, warm and relaxed.

Visited this tea room again this week with my family. Enjoyed the soup & scone this time although I'm always spoiled for choice. The staff are friendly and efficient and even though the food is cooked to order, it's delivered quickly. They offer a good range of meals and if the corned beef pie is on offer - go for it!! I love that they also do private parties and thoroughly enjoyed having my 60th birthday party here. The Burrow is well worth a visit - but if there's only 1 cheese scone left, please leave it for me!!

Just called for a quick lunch where I had a Brie, bacon and cranberry panini and it was delicious! It was served with homemade coleslaw, fresh salad and a homemade dressing too. The cafe is quaint, cosy and well kept. Service is excellent and we’ll definitely be back.

A lunch for my birthday in a very nice restaurant. Well appointed and clean with some lovely staff. It was quiet on the day but imagine it does get busy as it is a lovely place. The food was delicious, although we only had main course. We will be back

We went for lunch during Easter holidays and expected it to be busier. As it is absolutely fabulous tasty food! The cakes are just to die for, couldn't choose which to have, eventually went for the chocolate and banana loaf. My mouth is watering at the thought. Also had a panini served with salad and coleslaw. Very cosy feel and nice and clean inside. Nice little gifts also. Would definitely recommend, and return.

Staff were extremely pleasant. Radio blasting was not conducive to a relaxed atmosphere. Tea was hot & flavoursome. Disappointed with scone, lemon & Ginger... Strong smell of lemon essence & very little ginger. The scone did not seem to be fresh. Disappointing.

I have visited this coffee shop on a number of occasions and I have never left dissapointed, the decor is warm and relaxing and the staff always friendly and chatty. Great selection of food and drinks and very reasonably priced. Well worth a visit if you are passing.

Called in for a Saturday brunch hoping to lose a bit of a hangover. Despite it being busy, my order was served very quickly by the very pleasant young lady. Lovely coffee and an egg mayo sandwich with a fresh brown bap. Feeling better already!! Nice decor, fire and low ceilings give the place a nice cosy feel. Don't normally have a sweet tooth but then saw the chocolate Rolo cake. Highly recommended.... Hangover sorted.

A very handy new addition to the local area. We tried the Burrow for the first time today after a brisk 20 minute walk. Lovely environment for lunch with friendly, helpful staff. All the food freshly made with a great variety of choice from sandwiches, through to pizzas, pie through to home made soup and scones, plus a lovely choice of drinks and home made cakes. Good value, we will definitely be back soon!!

This little gem nestled in the rural village of Flint Hill is well worth a visit. Friendly staff and beautiful home-made food. The original building which is several hundred years old has been renovated to the highest standards but retains period features and character. Worth a visit for coffee, wonderful afternoon tea and being fully licensed, a great venue for private parties. I would highly recommend a visit.

Stopped by twice. One afternoon, a little before it closed at 3 p.m. and on a saturday morning on opening at 10 a.m. Tasty americano coffee (decaf available) and rocky road on the afternoon visit, americano coffee and bacon bun offer on the morning visit. i just wish it stayed open a bit later than 3 p.m. I think that they are closed Sunday/Monday. Someone there mentioned that the tearoom was hired out for a graduation party. On street parking was tight on the afternoon, easier at opening.

What a great little bar! We were in Barnard Castle for a week's holiday and struggled to find any pubs that stayed open beyond the time that people had finished eating in them - but we just fancied a couple of drinks on the Saturday night when we arrived! We came across Crobar by accident, following the signs and fairy lights down a narrow little alleyway, and were the first customers because it only opens at 9pm and stays open until late. The bar itself is tiny, really cute and cosy, but it must be great in the summer as there's lots more seating in the outdoor courtyard. The beers were good and cocktails were on offer too. The owners were very friendly and offered us advice of local walks and attractions for our holiday, thank you! We returned on our last day too. (The only reason I'm giving four stars is because the music was so down-beat and uninspiring - sorry - but this can easily be changed. There's a possibility it might have got dancier later on, as at about 10:30 the tables were pushed to one side to make room, but if the early music had been a bit more up-beat we might have stayed longer to find out!)
