Came here for Sunday lunch with family and was greeted by the most relaxing atmosphere and tasty food. Definitely worth the visit. Friendly staff too! Was busy so would reccomend booking.
I live near here. I smelled the pizza or bread every time I passed by here so I come here today. Itâs really nice! The atmosphere is very good, and I feel very happy sitting inside. Wait for the next sunny day to come back and sitđ„°

A local pub with a pool table a big screen tv. It's in a residential area. We just had a couple of early evening drinks, I had the guest beer which was a very tasty Golden Ale and the house Malbec was very good too. The log burner was just what was needed on a very cold night. The was no food being served, but the friendly barman helpfully recommended a couple of restaurants very nearby. We went one and his recommendation was spot on. I'd go back when back in Durham
Came here for breakfast with my son, the food was delicious and reasonably priced, very nice coffee and delicious milkshakes, the staff were very helpful and so welcoming, we will be back very soon! đ

A similar theme to a 1950s American Diner in the furniture Citroneâs has. A place where you can sit with your friends and family and bond over the week youâve had over coffee and some good food.
The place is full of life, you can feel it and see it when you walk in the door. The service is brilliant, everyone is welcoming and warm when you approach the counter.
The food is the best Iâve had in a very long time and itâs a big reason I come back at least 3 times a month. All their food is cook to order and it doesnât take long to cook either, itâs fresh and hot always when you pick it up. Which makes it one of the best places in Chester-Le-Street just for that reason alone; however the other reasons such as the ones mentioned above make it THE best place in area. Great food, great atmosphere and great overall experience. If you were interested in going here, do it. You wonât regret it.

We loved the bar and the service but found that the food was expensive and disappointing. I paid ÂŁ16.95 for bratwurst and chips plus ÂŁ2.95 for a tiny jug of awful runny curry sauce. My wife's game terrine was bland and not 5 star gastro pub presented. Gluten free bread was served which is great but it wasn't toasted. The server refunded this item thank you.
We were let down for boxing day, but Sals managed to fit 14 of us in at a busy time of year. Everything was lovely, from the table to the food, to the service. Such friendly accommodating staff. The whole experience was fab and would highly recommend, also save a fortune on drinks, as it is Bring your ownđ
