Went on a Saturday night, the service was fantastic and food was exceptionally quick. All the food was really delicious and the meats were cooked on the grill to absolute perfection!

The Salt House has great cocktails, and great nibbles. We had a taste of Spain board and it was delish, great for sharing. The staff are brilliant and the atmosphere has a buzz. And dog friendly.

Everything from this place is the best! My absolute favourite breakfast anywhere is the 2k breakfast. The syrup that comes with pancakes is special! I recently tried the dipper burger which was very tasty and a great hangover cure. I have to mention the BBQ they held at twobytwo was amazing also. The staff are so friendly and very attentive and the place has a real family feel. My number one restaurant in Newcastle.

I've heard many good things about Rising Cafe and decided to visit the cafe this week. Loved the 1940s and 1950s theme with the old posters, the vintage radiogram and photos of the Queen's Coronation, and how the cafe helps people with issues in their lives. Also most of the meals are under £10, which is really good these days, and there is a large choice from salads to burger based meals. I was impressed and would recommend The Rising Cafe to anyone who wants a pleasant meal in nice surroundings with a theme.

This friendly pub is the second oldest pub in South Shields and has a wonderful view across the river and out to sea. Their Sunday dinners are delicious easily the best roasts in the area, with all the trimmings and generous helpings. Highly recommended to all.

Went on a very cold, wet day in November. Very friendly staff and welcoming atmosphere. The sausage sandwich was amazing- plenty of sausage in it! Good coffee too. Would definitely go back

Really enjoyed the experience.Pleasantly surprised by the covid measures on way in.Made to feel very welcome.This is probably the smallest restaurant I've ever been to, but the food and service were excellent. If ever back in Darlington will definitely go back.Highly recommended.

Great service and value and local produce in shop. 8 of us called in for a pre-walk coffee and cake/teacake. Although the place was busy, we were served swiftly and courteously. Definitely will revisit and recommend.

Really lovely lunch at Alkaline, friendly staff, small space but really welcoming and relaxed environment. The person out front could chat to anyone. The food was good, and everything else i saw looked great, all healthy, well-balanced meals. Smoothie was also excellent. Coffee spot on.

Me and the wife visited here for a full English breakfast , and I must say it’s one of the best I’ve had , food very fresh and hot , caramel latte best ever, and the staff very friendly . Highly recommend, free car park at the rear.

Visited Borrelli’s today with my Mum. We try to go at least twice a week as the staff are so friendly and accommodating and are always good for a laugh! Nothing is too much. Atmosphere is great, as is the food. Total value for money. 🤗 Would highly recommend.

A lovely location, sat outside in the sunshine with my dog, a pot of tea, cheese scone followed by a piece of carrot cake, absolutely delicious. Thank You, I can't wait to return

Very Greek menu. The Greek house wine was excellent. We had a sharing platter of mixed starters for 2 between 4 of us and it made a really nice introduction. I had the charcoal grilled pork chop with chips and salad. The waitress was brilliant, really helpful. We paid £40.00 a head including a tip and quite a bit of wine. No complaints at all.

I had the best sandwich I’ve ever had at Mes in Sedgefield ( Prosciutto, Brie & Rocket with a Balsamic drizzle on a warm Ciabatta ) The ingredients were so fresh, and the flavours were just perfect. The staff were incredibly polite and welcoming, making the whole experience even better. Great atmosphere and excellent service—I’ll definitely be back. Highly recommend!
