Had the most amazing festive afternoon tea here with friends. Everything was delicious & a party member with coeliac disease was well looked after. Nothing was too much trouble. I believe that everything was made with love....sign of the best establishmets.

My son and I dropped in to this amazing cafe after having a really stressful day sorting stuff out for elderly relatives. Often passed it and drooled at the cakes in the window. but never been in. Our visit really brightened up our day. Presentation of the food was extra special, coffee was delicious, staff were really lovely, friendly and efficient. We will be back and if you are ever in the area make a point of visiting. Very varied menu with something for everyone. Thank you for cheering us up Bluestone Tea Room.

Met friends for breakfast, superb fresh food. Service was excellent, little touches like bringing extra hot water for the tea halfway through the meal. Lots of homemade cakes and cheesecake wrong time of the day for me to try but they all looked lovely. If you wish to go to a quint tea room with lovely fresh food and excellent service which is extremely clean this is your place.Crook is lucky to have this little gem.

From the outside (when i've been sat in the car waiting for the lights to change) i always thought it looked a little sad (strange mirrored windows) -How wrong was i! The food was truly homemade, and delicious-bubble and squeak with poached eggs on top (beautiful poached eggs) followed by summer pudding (again homemade, with fruits from the garden) with cream. The staff are lovely and it the prices-well super value for money!

We call in here every visit to Crook. Rang for a table booking the same day got that ok. Ordered mature cheddar jacket potato for me and Kev had bacon and egg bun. Potato came with lovely diced side salad and fab dressing. Kev said bacon in bun really good quality, he is a bit of a bacon and egg expert after all! Followed by bakewell tart and I had sticky toffee pud and custard all seemed to be homemade. Delicious food great coffee, if I lived in Crook Id be the size of a house, be in here all the time.

We have visited this wonderful establishment ever since it was opened. The menu is very varied. The owners and their customers have some traditional favourites. But there are always some new dishes to try. Their afternoon teas are amazing. Everything is homemade on the premises. Booking is essential.

I've just had a recent visit to this lovely tea shop with my friend and cannot praise it highly enough. I found it very welcoming as soon as we entered. The food is superb , really fresh and everything is home made. What I particularly liked was the fact that my tea came in a matching china cup and tea pot. I travel with work a lot and so when I get home I don't want to go to restaurants, but simply want good home cooking. And this is the point of Blue Stone Tea Shop - everything is homemade, and delicious. Yesterday I had the most beautiful apricot and lentil soup, followed by risotto (took 20 minutes to come as it is made from fresh, and well worth waiting for), and scrummy cheesecake. Lovely lattes too and excellent value for money. Great cooking by David and Barbara, great supervision by Paul, great service from Lee. Highly recommended.
