Deli & Dips in Sunderland

Order some meal deals to pick up to and eat at the park. We ordered a hot pork sandwich, crab salad and ham and cucumber for the little one. All came with crisps a cake (we all got the pink slice) and a drink. The bread was soft and fillings plentiful and delicious there was even enough left over to give the birds some bread.

Ive been coming here for years, ive just been for lunch and I think I need a lie down. The dips are huge! I dont know how the owner makes any money, the filling is always bursting out the sides. Looking forward to a festive dip or two this year its like waiting for a ps5 wait for them to be released. I wonder if i need to preorder 🤔 🤣🤣 Hands down best dips around keep up the great work.

I’ve been going to this sandwich shop on and off for about 10yrs, unfortunately this is the worst it has been in that time frame. I think it’s been recently taken over and I’ve noticed the amount of filling you get now isn’t what it used to be. I would normally go for chicken tikka and I find the flavour very bland, too. No where near the level of McKeiths.

Bloody beautiful one of the best sandwiches I've ever had you could make another 4 sandwich with the amount of top notch meat I'll definitely be a returning customer

I was sent from the far off land of South Shields last week to pick up some hot savoury sandwiches and was not disappointed. Lovely staff and huge portions for a brilliant price!

Well worth the drive over to this place. Was able to park up a couple of streets down and went for a savoury dip and wasn’t disappointed! Also tried a slice of the corned beef pie which was amazing! Great value for money and will definitely head here again when in the area. Keep up the great work

I have been using Deli&Dips for years now. I always get a large saveloy dip. Best place that I know of for this kind of Dip. Very tasty and worth it. Nice and pleasant staff and a good sevice. I saw the Tripadvisor card and thought they definately deserve a mention. 5 stars, keep up the good service. By the way the other Dips in there look quality as well but I stick to the same each time so can't comment. Cheers.

Visited here on numerous occasions and the food is absolutely beautiful. Always get a savoury dip portions are huge and I normally have too eat it in two sittings. Always fresh and tasty 😋 lovely staff as well.

Won a competition for 2 meal deals and collected my prize today. We ordered egg mayo and turkey salad sandwiches , caramel slices , pop and crisps. The food was delicious so fresh I’d definitely recommend trying this place .

Having a lazy morning and couldn’t be bothered to cook so decided to visit Deli & Dips and I got a Large Savoury Dip and my wife got a Tuna filled Jacket potato box.

We ordered 14 sandwiches/ festive trays for work today. Everything was lovely! All of the orders were right, which doesn't often happen with a big lunch order from other places! Everything was fantastic... you get so much meat in the dips!! Very happy customers, we will certainly be returning.

I visited this place on a friends recommendation. I’m a veggie and had the cheese savoury sandwich. It was massive and absolutely delicious!!! I will definitely be back to try their Salad Boxes which also look really nice.

Well what can i say? The staff are amazing, so friendly and have an absolute scream everytime i go in and as for the food to die for, my mouth is watering just typing this review , the meat in the savoury dips just melts in your mouth and salads have everything to choose from which you dont get in most places and the filling is just too much to choose from! A******* step aside SUBWAY deli and dips are in town!!!

Stopped for lunch and got 3 small meal deals. I can’t believe the value for money!!! With the meal deal we got a sandwich, can of pop, crisps and a pink slice for only £4. The sandwiches were jam packed with three different meats and were simply amazing. Excellent service, all made to order. We will definitely be back!

We began using deli dips 2 weeks ago to cater for our training school dinners. The food was always on time and absolutely delicious! The dips/ sandwich’s more than filled the guys sitting the course and then to top it off they had crisps, cakes and pop. Very good value for money and will 100% be using deli dips for each of our courses

Ordered 20 different hot sandwiches to be delivered for a working lunch. The food was delicious and still hot when delivered, everyone was impressed even the fussy eaters (thought there was going to be a fight over the last pink slice) and will definitely order again!

We liked the reviews we saw, so we drove 20 minutes to get here, arriving about 45 minutes before the advertised closing time on Saturday lunchtime. But the shelves were almost completely bare, so we went away hungry. If you want to go, go early.

Fresh sandwiches , meal deals and dips , you certainly get your money's worth from here . Every time we've used this place we've never been disappointed, the sandwiches and dips are cheap and they're humongous , I've never been able to eat a full one yet . Everything is fresh , hot and very tasty , would definitely recommend to anyone .

As the other reviews say they are huge sandwiches we went there after reading the reviews on trip advisor. We ordered 2 savoury dips which looked good on the photos on the web site they were served on plates, it’s a take away cafe no where to eat inside so we sat in the car to eat them the sandwiches were so sloppy the bread fell to bits it was impossible to eat out of a bag. The meat inside the sandwiches was fatty we gave up and put them in the bin.

Has to be the biggest savoury dips I've ever seen beautiful and very filling would highly recommend to all friends and family must be a whole cow and pig in each sandwich well done guys

I have been going to this sandwich shop for about 15 years and it never fails to impress. Huge quantities of lovely meat along with fantastic pease pudding and stuffing. Would highly recommend this place, if you’re really hungry get a large but you’ll need a lie down afterwards!

When collecting my Deli &Dips; Sandwich Deal the man that served me was polite,friendly and professional and the service was quick. My sandwich was delicious and it's fair to say I will be returning!

Travelled from Scotland to visit family and from leaving home I knew I needed to get back home for a savoury dip. Well I wan definitely not disappointed. The 2 girls in the store on Saturday morning were fantastic, very friendly and very welcoming. We got 2 larges dips and OMG were they large. They were fantastic. They were full of meat, pease pudding and stuffing topped with delicious gravy. If you have never had a dip , or even if you have ....You have to make a trip to Deli Dips ... brilliant food and a side order of corned beef pie ..... mmmmm yummy Thanks Ladies the best ever dip I have had.. The order was packed and delivered perfectly. the amount of meat in each bun was amazing. It wasn't falling apart even with gravy inside (which may i add tasted phenomenal).

Myself and work colleagues decided to place an order to be delivered today. We all ordered a Savoury Dip and scheduled a time for 11am. They arrived spot on time and we received service with a smile from the delivery man who was very nice and pleasant.The Dips were lovely they were packed full with ham..roast beef..roast pork..sage and onion stuffing..peace pudding which were dipped in gravy in a huge white bread bun.

Took an order for the office at work. They were very adaptable to late changes in order, and very friendly over the phone. Food came quickly, and went down well at the office. Would order again.

Ordered a few savory dips at work, they were all well packed with meat, very tasty, great value! Delivered at the perfect time, the driver was friendly and found our place no problem, he even called ahead to let us know he was on his way. Also the lady who answered the phone and took the order was very pleasant and helpful, the cut off point for deliveries is 10:30, but even at 11:20 they were still happy to fit us in.

Heard good things about the sandwiches so me and my friend popped in today and got a hot beef dip each! The large is HUGE, so tasty and lots of meat, I just say managed to eat it all but there was no way I could've left it - it was far too nice! We'll definitely be back, thank you!!

I placed an order to deliver to my workplace. The order was delivered before the expected delivery time which was brilliant. The sarnies and dips were out of this world with everyone comenting on how delicious and filling they were. Staff were friendly and polite, I couldn't fault anything at all.

I ordered the festive dip for my lunch today and it was so delicious!! Been wanting one for ages after seeing photos on Facebook and it tastes even better than it looks! Just had a fantastic lunch at Deli & Dips! Ordered a Savoury Dip Meal Deal for £4, and as there was a few of us we got free Delivery on an order over £10. Definitely didn't disappoint! All the meats inside were succulent and even though advertised as a small it was large enough! One person even had leftovers for their dog!! Won't be our last visit that's for sure. Absolutely delicious

When you want something savoury and have a big appetite go for a savoury mixed meat dip or saveloy with everything on mmmmm. But dont go after 1.30 as they stop serving. To note the large size are not for the faint hearted altho my husband can do 2 after a round of golf! Enjoy.

Deli dips is the best sandwich shop in Sunderland, portion size is huge and quality of meat really good. You can just phone and make your order if in a rush and then they will have it ready for you coming which is ideal. I would not go anywhere else, excellent price also! With a good choice of hot or cold sandwiches

We use the delivery service at work on a Friday. Food arrives on time and is freshly prepared. Salads are lovely, really tasty. Sandwiches are amazing, lots of filling but still quite healthy so it feels like a real Friday treat! Cheese savory is best I've ever had! I would definitely recommend giving it a try!

Just had my first Turkey dip from Deli & dips and it was fantastic! I have heard nothing but good things about the food and also the size of the portions, safe to say i was not disappointed and will definitely be getting food from here again!

They sell the best sandwiches I've ever had. My parents are a 5 min walk away from the deli and whenever I visit, a savoury dip is ALWAYS a must! The quality, price and delightful customer service is always second to none and if I could rate this great little shop higher I would. When people say about any establishment always having room for improvement me, believe me, this doesn't need improving in ANY way. Keep it up, though I'm sure you will.

Have used Deli Dips for food for a while now and to be fair they are outstanding. Sandwiches are amazing with so many varieties and you get real value for money. Staff are great and are always happy and welcoming. I would certainly recommend 👍🏼

You Can ask for anything you want in your sandwich, the staff are very friendly and will make you want you want if it's not on their menu. Turkey and coleslaw sandwiches dipped are my favourite! Nice and fresh with plenty of choice of hot and cold to pick from

I was recommended Deli Dips by a work colleague, Me and my partner decided to give it a try so I ordered the all meat savoury dip and he had 2 savaloy dips (which all were huge in portion size). It turned out that this food was the best thing I have had since moving to Sunderland 2 years ago!. Now I recommend Deli Dips to everyone and the service and quality are both 1st class.
