The best restaurants serving Thai food in North East

Terrible! Booked, turned up, said kitchen was closed after confirming booking. Think they just thought stuff it as a table for one. Won't go back!

Absolutely Delicious food the green chicken curry was spicy but soo good🍲😋 The staff were lovely and were really polite! The atmosphere of the restaurant was great made me feel warm and the change from windy cold to still warm was brilliant! I visited after the Whitby Krampus Run X and it was FREEZING out side but when I entered I was made really warm! Five stars all around

Went for the quiz on Wednesday. Had a great time. Buffet was good considering it's inwith the price of the quiz. Quizmaster is a riot, questions are harder than other quizzes I have been to but that's part of the fun. Love it and the surroundings are very nice.

Using Herbs and Spice on just eat had a 20% off offer so never to turn down money off and after looking at the big menu we decided to give them a go as there were plenty of new dishes for us to try. Now if the 20% off is good it means nothing if the meals were poor. This was far from the case, they were all excellent quality, received 15 minutes early, hot and ready to go. The Naan tikka was light and really tasty, sometimes they’re hard around the edges or lack filling, my son and I found the chips were really tasty but spicy whereas my husband found them lovely and tasty. Tikka rice was plentiful and lovely and after filling ourselves there’s enough leftovers for two tomorrow. Can’t fault the takeaway at all, glad we found it and gave it a try.

Ambience was nice, adequate heating and not noisy. Staff, friendly. Menu looked good. Food, not good. We go Thailand often and we know what authentic Thai food is. Miserable chicken satay. Lousy ribs. Luckily we didn't order more food. Did We enjoy our dinner? No. Will we return? No.

Chicken tikka masala, pilau rice, chips & naan bread. Absolutely delicious. Just the right amount of spice to make me feel like a big girl eating spicy food when I can barely tolerate regular pepper on my food and too much salt is spicy to me 😂 Perfect as always

We made a reservation with the restaurant for dinner for our wedding anniversary. We live in Newcastle so we paid to travel by train so we could enjoy a drink. Upon arrival we were met with a closed restaurant and note on the door. We were not contacted to explain this to try and re arrange. This has completely wasted and ruined our day.

Fantastic fantastic experience, we loved the food the place and the atmosphere. Very authentic and delicious, reminded us of Thailand for sure, the place was bright and clean and we had fantastic service. We loved the fish cakes, and the Masaman carry was fantastic

Went here as part of a spa experience. Don’t know what the restaurant was till we got there. Was right up my street. Good was excellent ! Hot and spicy soup with lovely prawns , squid and mussels. Chicken satay was amazing. Main courses were a soft shell crab dish (highlight of the night) and a salmon kimchi poke bowl. Not cheap but well worth the money

Terrible food . This is the second time I’ve been to this place for food and both times have left me Ill. The most recent time I’ve gone I ordered the chicken satay and was given the most poor quality “chicken “ I have ever eaten . Parts of it were not white and actually a dark colour . It was crunchy and chewy . The sauce actually was nice once you ate more of it . The worst part was I got a few tiny bits of this chicken for £7.50

Come in for a few pints. 1st glass was like it had been washed with gravy 2nd pint was lipstick all over asked for a change and just poured the drink in another glass. Not impressed Astro turf smells of dog wee
